By the mid 1980's The Transformers were a cultural powerhouse. In 1927 director Fritz Lang his sci-fi classic "Metropolis". In 1984 music producer Giorgio Morodor released a recut version of the movie with a contemporary 1980s music score and soundtrack. In 2010 the most complete version of "Metropolis" was put out to the world after a decades long restoration project.
