Penn has a lot of talent returning from last year however as they look to take a big step forward in 2025. In this college football preview we focus on the Villanova Wildcats of FCS. Villanova went 10-4 a season ago (6-2 CAA) and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. This will be Villanova's final season as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association as in 2026 the Wildcats jump to the Patriot League. Matt Leon spoke with Villanova head coach Mark Ferrante to get some insight into the 2025 Wildcats. Villanova will open its season on Saturday, September 6th at home against Colgate. That game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m.

The Aggies had a very good 2024 campaign, finishing 8-3 (7-2 in the Middle Atlantic Conference) and taking part in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series. The rest of the roster is more open to interpretation, but one of us is optimistic * Florida has DJ Lagway, and that counts for a lot * Ole Miss faces a QB transition, but there's reason to be optimistic. Will the defense keep chugging after a bunch of losses? * Texas A&M will run over you and play solid defense.
