The mind will fight, flight or freeze when under stress. Gisele and Andy are freezers! The silence to violence reaction is common but not sound. We discuss how to unfreeze the brain with questions and recondition your responses using a process called S.T.A.T.E.Facts combined with emotions are called "your story." Retraining your mind to be rational instead of emotional when dealing with conflict is not easy and the goal is not to suppress or discount your emotions, but rather to effectively communicate your story. So, by separating the facts from your emotions, and essentially asking the other person to try and do the same, you're more likely to find the miscommunication and a healthy resolution. This is particularly important when you want to keep a relationship in tact. Gisele far exceeds her goals and blames the positive changes of her team!In contrast to earlier in the year, Gisele explains how simplifying the system and having the right people made all the difference.First, identify what you want to change. Then, figure out what factors you can control that will have the biggest impact on what you want to change."Every system is perfectly designed to get the results it gets." (attributed to E.W. Deming)Gisele remembers that she is good at this and she does know how to do it and when she does it feels like what she was made to do!Some dreams are worth fighting for.  Some dreams morph and change as we grow and some dreams die and its ok to let them die.  Sometimes we are holding on to dreams that are no longer ours...let it go."When things change inside of you, things change around you."  -UnknownYou can endure almost any hardship with the right people around you and the best things in life can be unbearable if surrounded by the wrong people. There is something mystical about finding the things you were meant to do and partnering with the people you were meant to do them with.To learn more about what Andy does and more of his content go to:AndyKerrCoaching.comFacebook: @andykerrcoachingPurchase Andy's Book A Story and A PointTo find more awesome content from Gisele visit:Honest.CEOFacebook: @HonestCEOvlogInstagram: @HonestCEOvlog
