It took me a while to edit this one because of life, jobs, and family, but here it is. The Boondock Saints. We really enjoyed going through this one and we hope you have as much fun with it as we did. Conor, Murphy, Smecker, and El Duce come together in a fun, violent ride that has as great a story about its making as it does in the script. Come on back to 1999 with us and explore Boston's fake underworld of do-gooders and mobsters with the Saints. Thanks for listening and downloading. We're not regular anymore, we just put out shows when we can - we aim for once a month, but we'll see. If you like these shows and would like to see more, hit us up anywhere you download podcasts and leave comments, reviews, or suggestions. Firstly, we're a bit late releasing this one, so apologies for that. We're just going to release shows about once a month when we can as schedules are a bit of a bitch. Speaking of bitches, this Seagal movie is trash. We honestly didn't even get through it because our lives were more important. Lots of laughs, lots of talking about shit other than what's happening in the movie because, for real, very little happens in this film (and it's a stretch to call it a "film"). Next up is a fun one just for us because we like it - Rustler's Rhapsody from 1985! Go watch it - I think it's on Amazon. Check it if you haven't already and we'll chat about that one in October! You rule for listening to our show, so if you could subscribe and tell some friends, that'd make you even MORE amazing. Hard to fathom, but here we are.Love you!Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/you-have-offended-this-podcast-1. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
When someone dies tragically, sometimes they get to come back to avenge the wrongs done to them, guided by a crow. This is the 1994 story of Eric Draven (yeah, a little heavy-handed, we know) and his fiancée Shelley who were murdered by thugs on Halloween. Ok, but can you imagine this as a musical starring Michael Jackson? No? Us neither. Check out the pod for how we reacted to *that* little tidbit of trivia.Think about subscribing to our show! It really helps us out. We publish once a month around the 5th. First off, we shouldn't be talking about this movie. Secondly, for real, we *shouldn't* be talking about this movie. If you don't like this movie, we can't be friends.Still here? Ok, come along in to the world of Johnny Utah, former college high school football standout turned FBI agent going after bank robbers. Tremendous. As if that weren't enough, Patrick Swayze as Bodhi, surfer and leader of the Ex-Presidents? That enough to whet your whistle? No? Well then, let me toss fucking Gary Busey your way acting all Gary Busey on your ass.If you've never pointed a gun up into the air and fired whilst going, "auuuggghhhhhh!!", then this is the movie for you...or the podcast overview of that movie. If you listened to our last podcast, we mentioned that our next movie would be The Crow. Now, what we failed to mention is that The Crow is the next movie we're *recording* - but we already have several podcasts finished and in the queue. One of those that we finished a while back is this one: Face/Off. Not a martial arts movie (unless you count Gun Fu...and we most certainly do), but the cheese in this is so very tasty, we had to do it. I mean, Cage being Cage here is one of the most glorious things you'll ever lay your beautiful eyes upon. We had such fun revisiting this movie and we hope you have laughs with us as you come along for the amazing, flawed, hilarious, and dripping with cheese ride. Also, please consider subscribing and leaving us a fabulous review on Apple or iTunes! In the Year of Our Chuck Norris, 1986, a little movie from the Cannon Group came out as what was supposed to be a sequel to a movie we did not that long ago - Invasion U.S.A. Chuck said no to the film so it was passed on to Cannon's main man, Michael Dudikoff who took up the mantle of Matt Hunter quite well, thank you very much. The movie wasn't a sequel anymore, it was a stand-alone movie (with a lead character who just happened to be named Matt Hunter...don't think about it too long). Bad, racist men doing bad man racist things and we *reeeeeaalllly* want them to get killed. Have a listen to our talk-through and laugh along with us while Dudikoff and Steve James whoop some ass. Also, thanks to David Bone for the Facebook request! This is the last of our older episodes to publish! It's all new ones from here on out - they'll go out once a month on the 5th of each month! This is 1995's The Hunted with Christopher Lambert on the run from damn ninjas! This is a fun flick that we had a blast going through again, so we hope you'll like reliving sword fights and arrows through the chest with us as you drive, workout, or walk! Also, hey! Maybe consider subscribing so you'll get us in your ears every month on the reg! Hey! Thanks for coming back for the new episodes! We're going to be releasing one new show per month now as we go forward to make sure we can keep up with the workload. We hope you enjoy the new stuff - basically same as the old podcast except no five parts, and we just might not stick to just martial arts movies. We'll likely lean heavily on them, but also hit action flicks and other stuff as our interest piques. If you have any favorites you'd like us to cover, leave us a review, hit us up on Instagram (search "you have offended this podcast") and let us know! we'll do our best to get it to the top of the pile and we'll shout you out on the show. 1984 was not a bad year for movies at all - The Terminator, The Karate Kid, Footloose, and if you're into that sort of thing, Top Secret! Ninja 3: The Domination was the third in Cannon Film's ninja trilogy...none of which were related to each other in any meaningful way. This one, however, had one of the most insane mixtures of ninja, horror, and aerobics any movie had ever seen. Let us tell you - it holds up! Don't really know what do say about this one - I mean, who actually includes "1" in the title of your movie? Like, expectations much? There were (technically) two sequels, only one of which was an actual sequel, but that was the third one. Confused? Yeah, us too.We did have a lot of fun chatting through this flick, though. This had us so excited when we saw the trailer, it was actually a bit embarrassing. We're essentially 50 year old teenagers. But man, while the potential is there, it fell a bit short for us. In the year of our Galdalf, 1993, a little sequel movie came out that furthered a storyline we all came to know and love. That story was the tournament film, Best of the Best. Tommy overcoming his family strife to defeat the feared Tae Kwon Do master, Dae Han in the (oddly titled) World Karate Tournament. It is not as good as the first film. Do listen to our talk-through, however, as we have fun chatting and laughing about all the changes (warranted and not so much) to the storyline and, of course Ralf Moeller's rubber face. Please consider subscribing and leaving us a review as that really helps us get into more folks' heads. It's hard to believe 1989 was 35 years ago. Damn...we's old. Aaaaaaaanyway, this movie still holds up and has all the John Woo-isms that we've come to know and love. Both Chad and I missed this one in 2004 when it came out in theatres because the marketing made it seem a little wacky. Boy, were we wrong. In 1984, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Bao made a movie. Benny "The Jet" Urquidez is in it. If you haven't seen it, you must. That's really all we have to say on that topic. We liked this movie a lot, the fights are tremendous and the stunts are insane. You will for sure enjoy our talk through of this classic flick. Mark Dacascos stars in this movie that capitalized on the capoeira craze that swept the nation in the early 90's (I may have made that "craze" up in my mind). This was 1993 and teenagers everywhere were jengaing and attempting to flip-kick each other around the steamy underbellies of major cities all over North America. Only the Strong was an attempt to get those teens' money. We had a fun time chatting about this film while we watched it. Next up on our re-posting of episodes before new drops is Jackie Chan's sort of introduction to North American audiences, Rumble in the Bronx. This movie is essentially a live-action cartoon with stunts that will melt your brain trying to figure out how Chan is still alive. Then you go back and watch some older movies of his and you'll never stop wondering. This is Seagal's fourth movie and it has the great William Forsythe in it. Forsythe is from Brooklyn. Seagal told William fucking Forsythe during the filming of this movie that he should, "work on your Brooklyn accent." Incredible. Please consider leaving us a review somewhere. And subscribe. That'd be dope. Much like you.Lastly, fuck Steven Seagal.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/you-have-offended-this-podcast-1. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Inarguably Bruce Lee's worst movie (although we address it early and make clear, this IS NOT a Bruce Lee movie), Game of Death stands as a banner of what studios thought they could get away with once a big star dies and you have a property that you need to capitalize upon. It's pretty gross, actually. There are, however, a precious few moments of gold in here where Bruce is actually doing some fighting that are worth checking out. Come with us for the slog through a shit-fest to gather some nuggets of joy.Oh, and hey, please consider subscribing to our show! If you could leave us a review on iTunes or something, we'd be forever in your debt. Or, we could just buy you a coffee or some such thing when we start doing live shows. Hopefully that'll be a thing at some future point. In any event, you keep being Kool and the Gang.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/you-have-offended-this-podcast-1. Hosted on Acast.
