Hanshi Jerry Piddington is a martial arts practitioner and founder of the American Karate Academies National Association. There's no police in our industry. Zero police. It's all about the rules. If you play by a specific rules, you can get something done. But the rules change in all the different organizations. Hansi Jerry Piddington - Episode 720 Hanshi Jerry Piddington has a martial arts career that spans five decades and has studied with some of the most famous martial artists in the world. His first teacher was Caylor Atkins, a Shotokan stylist. Mr. Piddington received his first black belt from Tom Crites in Shorin-Ryu. Continuing his career, Mr. Piddington trained in Hawaiian Kenpo with Michael Stone, Japanese Goju-Ryu with Chris Armstrong, Kempo with Ed Parker, and Shorin-Ryu with Master Tadashi Yamashita. Mr. Piddington was also a student and friend of O'Sensei Robert Trias, Father of American Karate. Grandmaster Robert A. Trias took notice of Hanshi Piddington and invited him to create the first American style of karate in the United States. On May 2, 1972, Mr. Piddington was declared the Headmaster and Founder of American Open Style Karate under the USKA sanctified charter, established by Master Trias, which was internationally ratified on May 30th, 1975. In February 2000 Mr. Piddington was declared Headmaster of American Shorei/Shorin Karate by Hanshi John Pachivas, Grandmaster of Shuri-ryu Karatedo, and was awarded his 10th degree black belt. Grandmaster Jerry Piddington founded American Karate Academies National Association (AKANA) in 1976. Hanshi Piddington enjoys acting in live theatre and stage combat. He has been a fight choreographer and stunt man in several major motion pictures such as Killer Inside Me, A Reason to Kill, Night Realm, The Quest starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Roger Moore, and BloodSport II starring Daniel Bernhardt, Pat Morita, and James Hong. He is currently filming a documentary and reality show based on his adventure to Cambodia called, When Two Masters Meet. In this episode, Hanshi Jerry Piddington talks about his legendary career. Sensei Corley is a 10th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor at Atlanta Extreme Warrior. Sensei Joe Corley began studying Tang Soo Do at age 16. At 19 he earned his black belt and opened his first martial arts studio. He won many US National Karate Grand Championships from 1977 to 1987 and opened Atlanta's first karate studio in 1987 in which he founded Joe Corley's American Karate System in 1992. Sensei Joe Corley was named Man of the Decade by Official Karate magazine and was inducted into the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame as Man of the Year in 1998. Joe Corley also became a commentator for American Karate on national television, along with Chuck Norris and Pat Morita, appearing on many news networks such as NBC, CBS, ESPN and more. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Four very powerful words that may have defined many 90's kids childhood. Iconic suits in various colors and the theme song Go Go Power Rangers, still to this day overloads the senses with pure nostalgia. Galaxy recently sat with the Mighty Morphin OG for a one on one. Get ready for pure fun. Best known for his role as Tommy Oliver in the long-running TV show Power Rangers, Jason David Frank morphed into a series of different rangers over the years: Mighty Morphin Green and White, Red Zeo, Red Turbo, and then returned in 2004 as the Black DinoThunder Ranger. All in all, 'Tommy' appeared in more episodes than any other character, 225 in total, and appeared in both full-length movies, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie (1995) and Turbo (1997). A highly accomplished and respected martial artist with 34 years experience, Kyoshi Frank currently holds a seventh degree black belt in American Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is the owner/operator of Rising Sun Karate and MMA, with three schools in Texas and one in California. He is also the founder/CEO of Jesus Didn't Tap, the first Christian-based line of MMA clothing and fight gear. Inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame in 2003 as the American Karate Master of the Year, he is the founder of Toso Kune Do, his own style. Beginning his full contact career in 2006, Jason won the prestigious "Ruff Man" Grand Champion title in Indiana and the gold medal in Master Toddy's Full Contact Muay Thai competition in Las Vegas. In 2010, Kyoshi began his amateur Mixed Martial Arts career with a 4-0 record and then in August won his first pro bout. Always an actor at heart, Jason has taken on several small and big screen roles over the years. Dr. Dale Comstock is the Vice President for Intrepid Global Security Solution's, Inc. Critical Infrastructure Protection Division. Dale regularly works as a contract security specialist applying his skills and knowledge on myriad of security challenges around the world for various clients. Dale retired from the U.S. Army in August of 2001, after serving 5 years in the 3rd Special Forces Group (Green Beret) as the Senior NCO on an A-Team; 10 years with the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta (The Delta Force) as an assault Team Leader and Explosives Expert; he served 4 years with the 82nd Airborne Division as an Airborne Infantryman in a Long Range Reconnaissance Platoon; and he served 9 years as a Security Advisor in Afghanistan and Iraq in support of the Global War on Terror (GWOT). He has a Master of Arts Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management and a Post Graduate Degree in Alternative Medicines and Therapies. Since his retirement he has started several security companies specializing in nuclear, petrochemical, personal, and K-9 security. Additionally he is a teacher for Henley-Putnam University in San Jose, California where he teaches Psychology of Violence, Technical Surveillance, Area Study Analysis, and Special Weapons; he is the Military Tactical Advisor for Falchion Enterprises, Inc. Dale Comstock has studied the Martial Arts for 36 years. He has Black Belts in American Karate and Ju-Jitsu. Some of his achievements include: Professional Boxer; Tough Man Championships; Vale Tudo Championships; PKC Kick-boxing Championships.
