Floki leads Caradoc, Jorgrim, and new halfling monk Chaz to go investigate the disappearance of dwarven monk leader Gorya Bronzevow, but on the way there, they stop to eradicate the growing ankheg problem at the Old Sycamore. Tragedy strikes as the mama ankheg burrows right up to Floki and crits on him, one-shotting him into unconsciousness, and finishing the job with its mandibles. Their leader fallen, the rest of the group scrambles to defeat the ankhegs. They divert to take Floki's body to the Temple of Dumathoin, where Umgurn drains the temple treasury to set out for Secomber to get him raised. Now joined by Eaglebane, they explore northward, encountering some giant lizards and a friendly centaur named Neigh-than, as well as the Zhentarim adventurers and their goblin allies. The party discovers an old Uthgardt cairn and a dragon-shaped barrow. Inside the barrow, Caradoc awakens a loyal skeletal horse and gets attacked by a will-o-wisp. The party flees back to the surface where the wisp is defeated, and they take the road back to Oleg's Trading Post where it all began.

We start you off with an introduction to Duergar! They're nasty grey little dwarves from the underdark who are just crazy about slaving and murder! Who would have thought? Then it's on to Orcs of Yurtrus, the nurtured ones and hands. Nurtured ones are orc banelings that explode to sicken you and prevent healing. Hands of Yurtrus are plagued themed Orc Clerics that are pretty dang creepy! Dylan wants to talk about his inter planar busker, asking for some change before getting his buddies, and Tristan made the Ankheg dig some inter planar holes and made it weaker, so now your first level party can get to the 9 hells! Story The mysterious voice tells Chad and Bo to meet them at the warehouse at the docks at midnight. The gang head to the warehouses and find the only one with lights on which appears to be a pub. An enigmatic man in a cloak exits the pub and Merrielle and Bo follow. Chad remains in the pub and interrogates orcs. The enigmatic man brings Bo and Merrielle to an empty warehouse. They meet The Ancient Circle. Bo and Merrielle ask where The Man in The Crimson Coat is. His name is Marius, and the Circle would only reveal his location if they steal a key from the City Barracks. Merrielle and Bo return to the pub to find Chad has initiated a full-on bar fight, and Chad is already unconscious. Merrielle and Bo drag out Chad just as a candle is knocked to the floor, starting a fire! Will the town crier have anything interesting to say? Will the Merry Few start more fires?
