In the final segment of the hour, we discuss the ratings for the USFL game this past Sunday. NBC officially announced their Sunday Night Football team. Kevin Burkhardt's partner has not yet been announced. Boomer thinks it's going to be John Lynch, who he believes will leave after the draft. They also talk about Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves and how he once ordered food while doing a press conference. 

Hour 1: Boomer & Gio open the show talking about the Mets sweeping a double header from the Giants and Gerrit Cole struggling yet again, although the Yankees won in Detroit. We talk about the influence of Buck Showalter on the Mets, the dominance of Max Scherzer and Gerrit Cole having a rough time in the cold without Spider Tack. And Boomer is very excited about the Rangers season. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and he starts with the Mets winning a double header against the Giants.
