Jerry has more of James Dolan on the Carton Show yesterday. An ESPN reporter called the Knicks championship a ‘participation trophy'. The Yankees beat the White Sox yet again and Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart joined the Yankees radio booth.
After two Knicks stars threw out the ceremonial first pitch, the Yankees blasted the White Sox again for their eighth win in their last nine games without Aaron Judge. Meanwhile out west, Shohei Ohtani found yet another way to bend the box score. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hey, soccer fans! The United States Men's National Team put on a historic performance against Paraguay in their openeing match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, defeating the South American side 4-1. An own goal got the scoring started for the Yanks, but Falorin Balogun bagged a brace, and Gio Reyna pitched in, as well. The USMNT dominated all stages of the game, coming out strong, controlling the pace, and breaking down a good Paraguayan defence to score - all things critics have pointed out over the last several matches. It's a great moment for the US Men and for American soccer fans. Let's keep it going! Nick also recaps the World Cup scoreboard and results, highlighting notable matches and results, and how it could affect the knockout rounds. We also discuss the Chicago Fire's latest transfer targets. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was in Chicago for a visit and meetings, and left impressed with the organization. It is now up to him to consider the Men in Red's offer - rumored to be up to $22 million a year for 2-3 years. German international Leon Goretzka has also been targed by the Fire, who are looking for more creativity out of their midfield. Could we see the two Bayern Munich stars reunite in Chicago? The Fire are also rumored to have interest in Australian international and Heart of Midlothian midfielder Cammy Devlin. I'm sure he'll be a hard target to obtain after a good perofrmance by the Aussies this World Cup. Tune in and join the conversation! Today's show stuck to the topic: Knicks-Spurs, Game 4. We talked about what went wrong for the team the last game and heard from players, coaches and fans about how they feel going into tonight and beyond. We also talked about the violence after Game 3. Everyone decent decried it as they should. People honestly don't need to act like that. Not here. Not to gloss it over, but the Yanks won again with Jazz homering using Judge's bat and Spencer Jones knocking his first MLB home run. Sadly, the Mets lost. All that and some laughs and it's a show.
Josh Hart with some thoughts. Dylan Harper talked about shooting threes. Stephon Castle said he expects to win tonight, in fact, the next three. The Yankees beat the Guardians as Jazz had the game winning HR and Spencer Jones hit his first MLB homer. The Moment of The Day: Gio's impression of Jeff Pearlman on TikTok.
Jerry first update has KAT talking about the Spurs setting the tone. The Yankees beat the Guardians as Jazz homered again with Judge's bat. Spencer Jones hit his first MLB HR. The Cardinals shutout the Mets, 7-0. Plus, Braden Montgomery of the White Sox hit a walk-off HR in his MLB debut with Bob Costas on the call.
The Yankees rallied in the eighth inning against Boston for a big win on Sunday, pulling them into a tie with the Rays for first place in the division. Chris breaks down the short series against the Red Sox, but starts with the latest news on Aaron Judge and when his ribs injury likely occurred. C-Mac pushes back on the narrative that the recent Judge revelations highlight an issue with how the Yanks handle injuries (2:10). He then reacts to the series split with the Red Sox (10:11), Trent Grisham's continued improvement, Cody Bellinger proving he was the right choice over Kyle Tucker this offseason, and if Ryan Weathers is showing signs of fatigue. Plus, why Anthony Volpe can no longer be the team's starting shortstop (21:00).
With MLS on a break for the Men's World Cup, Andrew chats with Mark Franek, author of American Soccer Nation: The Remarkable 150-Year History of Yanks on a Roll, from Mob Football to the Modern Game to talk about why he wrote a history of U.S. men's soccer, how the 1994 World Cup helped usher in the league, being an MLS Liker and why you should know the names Bethlehem Steel and Archie Stark. Today's episode is a special one with the FIFA World Cup starting soon! Our guest today is David Chimbaza, a British sports professional and big association football (or what we Yanks call soccer) fan. We talk about the World Cup and the differences between English football and American sports. (David is a Manchester United fan, but we won't hold it against him.)
The Yankees split a rain shortened series with Boston after news broke late Thursday evening that Aaron Judge would be out approximately two months with a stress fracture in his rib. Also, with Anthony Volpe in the midst of another one of his trademark slumps, will he be the odd man out when Jasson Dominguez comes off the IL?

Jerry returns with the sounds of Jalen Brunson hitting a big bucket late. Mike Brown liked the pace they played down the stretch. A moron fan ran on the floor to take a selfie with Wemby and he was asked about it after the game. The Yankees lost to the Guardians as Gerrit Cole did not pitch great and talked about it after the game. The Mets beat the Mariners as they pulled off a double steal.

DC Comics still doesn't get it. Pride Month is over, and the sooner they learn that, the better. A reporter for GB News (Britain's News Channel) tried to talk to the protestors outside of the Delaney Hall ICE facility and got a hefty dose of what we Yanks call "fatigue." The body cam footage in the murder of Henry Nowak, a British man stabbed to death by our greatest strength, has been released. Nowak died after he was stabbed multiple times and, instead of the police helping him, they put him in cuffs because racism or something. We'll see if the body cam footage sheds any new light on the subject. Poland and France. Unchecked illegal immigration and Islamification or tradition and closed borders. Which way? It hit me like a load of bricks. I love watching Trump's cabinet meetings and then heard someone else say the absolute best use of these events would be to make sure children in schools watch them to understand government and civics. Count me in. ICE "protests" get chippy in New Jersey as Dems have started their summer plan to invoke some violence in hopes of influencing elections in their favor this fall. Dr. Jill will be on CBS Sunday Morning this week and she finally says some partial truth as we all though Joe Biden had a medical episode in that disastrous debate performance against Trump. Friends star Mathew Perry had a live in assistant and that man was sentenced to 41 months in jail this week. Wait until you hear the details and what the family is saying about somebody they thought was their friend. The Yankees just flat out OWN the Royals... what a disaster this baseball season is. KU tickets were not really on sale yesterday for the NCAA baseball regional and this is getting wild. The Washington Nationals exec caught on tape is now on leave. Trump is headed to the NBA Finals and the Chargers quarterback skips OTA's to be with his girlfriend.
