Rich rebuts a 49ers fan who's ready to move on from Jimmy Garoppolo, explains why the embattled Niners QB deserves some kudos despite his many shortcomings but shouldn't get too used to being San Francisco's starting QB beyond this season. Rich reacts to two curious referee incidents in the NFL Divisional round games where Tom Brady was flagged for Unsportsmanlike Conduct for barking in face of official Sean Hochuli, and the other when Tyreek Hill didn't draw a taunting flag despite flashing the “V/peace sign” during his long touchdown vs the Bills. Rich gives props to Matthew Stafford for rewarding the risk the Rams took by trading for the longtime Detroit Lions QB, and comments on Joe Burrow taking the Bengals from laughing stock to the verge of the Super Bowl in just two NFL seasons. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without two more players for the remainder of the regular season as running back Leonard Fournette will be placed on injured reserve while Lavonte David, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, will miss the final three games with a foot injury. That means, the Bucs have lost Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Leonard Fournette, and Lavonte David all stemming from the 9-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints. As a result of Fournette heading to injured reserve, the Buccaneers will be signing running back Le'Veon Bell. Bell, who played in five games with the Baltimore Ravens this season, will back up Ronald Jones. With Gio Bernard also out, the Bucs were down to RoJo and Ke'Sahwn Vaughn as their running backs. Bell is a receiving threat out of the backfield but I wouldn't expect much from him in these last three games. Mina Kimes of ESPN sounded off about the Antonio Brown situation, but wasn't upset about the return of AB to the Bucs' roster. Instead, she put her focus towards Bruce Arians and a problem that spans across the league when it comes to talented players that find themselves making bad decisions or getting in trouble. Finally, Lucky the DJ calls in about Chris Godwin and it creates an opportunity to bring up a movement among Bucs fans that is worth talking about.
