EDUCATION:Stanford - 1989-93YEARS AT SAN FRANCISCO:Sept. 2016 - PresentCAREER HIGHLIGHTS AT SAN FRANCISCO:Molly Goodenbour, a two-time national champion at Stanford who has over a decade of head coaching experience on the collegiate level, was named the ninth head coach in University of San Francisco women's basketball history on Sept. 28, 2016. This is Goodenbour's third coaching stint on the Hilltop, where she served as an assistant coach with the Dons during the 1994-95 and 2005-06 seasons. In 2023-24, Goodenbour led San Francisco to a second-half resurgence as the team finished in a tie for third place in the West Coast Conference standings after starting the season with a 4-9 record. The program posted double-digit victories in WCC play for the fifth time in Goodenbour's tenure as the team finished at 10-6, highlighted by season sweeps of Pacific, Saint Mary's, Pepperdine, and LMU.  San Francisco also finished the season strong, rolling eventual WCC Tournament Champions Portland on the road, earning 59-47 victory at Chiles Center.Under Goodenbour's guidance, Jasmine Gayles and Debora dos Santos earned All-WCC First Team honors. Dos Santos recorded a career season, averaging a double-double with 15.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per game while Gayles led the squad in scoring at 16.8 points per game. Gayles also recorded the second 40-point game in program history as she dropped 40 points in an 81-68 win at Pacific on January 13The 2022-23 season under the leadership of Goodenbour concluded with an overall record of 19-13. Three Dons earned All-WCC Selections while two Dons earned WCC All-Within the first six years on the Hilltop, Goodenbour posted impressive numbers, including becoming the winningest coach in USF history through 50 games (27-23), as well as through two seasons at 34-28 (.548). Goodenbour quickly built up her impressive resume at USF, becoming the first coach to post winning overall and conference records in her first two seasons on the job. Building off the program's strong start to the new decade, the Dons were once again punching a postseason ticket as they battled through a grueling non-conference schedule that kept them away from the Hilltop from Thanksgiving until after New Year's Day. Following an 0-4 start to WCC play battling through injuries and COVID-19 related pauses, the Dons went on to rattle off wins in six of their next seven games and finished with the third seed heading into the WCC Tournament. USF would go on to defeat Santa Clara in Vegas before returning home to host Air Force in the WNIT.Since the start of the 2020-21 season, Goodenbour's Dons have made consecutive WNIT appearances and won at least one game in back-to-back WCC Tournaments. Led by two-time All-WCC first team selection Ioanna Krimili, USF's 2020-21 team led the conference in total points and points per game while being a top-four program in team plus/minus. Goodenbour's third WCC Tournament in 2019 saw her lead the Dons to a first-round victory over Portland, marking the seventh year in a row the Dons advanced beyond their opening game.Molly's 2017-18 squad placed three WCC All-Conference and All-Academic honorees. Anna Seilund earned First-Team All-WCC and Second-Team All-WCC recipients Michaela Rakova and Kalyn Simon. She finished her first year on the Hilltop in 2016-17 with an 18-13 overall record that included an 11-7 mark in West Coast Conference play, good for a fourth-place finish, the Dons' highest since the 2002-03 season. In the process, Goodenbour became the first USF head coach since Sue Rojcewicz in 1982-83 to post a winning record in her first year at the helm and compiled the second-best record by a first-year coach in program history. In addition, USF's 11 WCC wins under Goodenbour were the most since the 1996-97 campaign.

The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle Podcast's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down the latest action from the USC women's and men's basketball teams, including the Women of Troy being harassed from start to finish by a Notre Dame team that showed USC has a lot of work it needs to do to reach the big expectations and aspirations for this season. Shotgun and Connor also look back at USC men's 80-69 victory over Grambling State that was a struggle throughout until the Trojans closed strong, finishing the game on a 13-2 run to improve to 5-1. The podcasters look at where the men and women's programs stand after three weeks of action with plenty of concerns still needing to be addressed by both teams as they try to jell with so many new faces on both rosters. Shotgun and Connor also preview the upcoming weekend of action in the desert as both teams travel to Palm Springs to play in the Acrisure Classic tournament. The Women of Troy try to shake the blues and get back on track against a couple of blue teams in Seton Hall and Saint Louis. The Trojans bested Seton Hall last year around the same time of year when playing in a tournament in the Bahamas, but both of these teams have completely revamped their roster with nine new players. The men face their toughest non-conference matchups this season, taking on perennial West Coast Conference-contender Saint Mary's and either Arizona State or New Mexico, who are both off to strong starts this season. The podcast duo close out the show discussing what they are thankful for this year heading into the Thanksgiving holiday. Please review, rate and subscribe to the Peristyle Podcast on Apple Podcasts! The College Basketball Experience (@TCEonSGPN) of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network releases their West Coast Conference College Basketball Preview for the 2024-25 season. On the show Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac) and Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_) break down every single WCC basketball team and key in on how they think the conference race will shake out. Randy Bennett and Saint Mary's swept the regular season and conference tournament titles last season. The Gaels lose three starters from last season (Aidan Mahaney, Alex Ducas, and Joshua Jefferson). But SMC returns Conference Player of the Year Augustas Marciulionis. The Gaels are going to need Marciulionis to step up into more of a shot creation/scoring point guard role rather than a do-it-all type guy. Mitchell Saxen also returns for his 5th season. Saxen provides a steady presence in front of the rim on both sides of the ball with a knack of scoring in the post. Can Saint Mary's get a surprising Sophomore breakout or could a Freshman burst onto the scene to help make the Gaels nationally relevant again this season? Mark Few has Gonzaga nationally relevant in the preseason once again. The Zags return 81.5% of their minutes and are the most experienced and talented roster in the league. Anton Watson was the only starter they lost, but he was their best player on both sides of the ball last season. The Bulldogs' dynamic guard duo in Andrew Nembhard and Nolan Hickman come back for another year, along with big man Graham Ike. Can Khalif Battle or Michael Ajayi add the shot creation aspect that Gonzaga was looking for? What should be the expectations for the Zags this season? What other programs can challenge the two titans atop this conference? Mac and Bieniek finish the West Coast Conference College Basketball Preview with some takes. What are their projected standings at the end of the year? The guys also provide their WCC Basketball sleepers and bust predictions. (7:40-40:42) Checking in on Penn State with Sean Fitz from Blue White Illustrated (40:43-56:26) James Fletcher III joins to discuss bubble watch (56:27-1:02:29) Conclusion: NFL Combine Update Penn State has won double-digit games five times since 2016 but has yet to make the College Football Playoff. With the CFP expanding to 12 this season, is this the year the Nittany Lions finally break in? If you believe they'll go over 9.5 wins, then you believe they'll make the CFP. The question is this: How excited will fans be if Penn State is still only the third-best team in the Big Ten? Would making the CFP change the calculation? Sean Fitz of On3's Blue and White Illustrated joins to answer these questions and more. Penn State has two new coordinators and perhaps the most interesting schedule it has had since before it joined the Big Ten. There is much to discuss. Next, On3's James Fletcher III joins to preview a critical weekend in college basketball. Has Kentucky turned the corner after smashing Alabama and winning on a buzzer-beater at Mississippi State? Also, Tennessee heads to Tuscaloosa for a game that could help determine NCAA Tournament seeding. Kansas heads to Waco to face Baylor in a clash of Big 12 titans. Marquette and Creighton play in a key Big East game in Omaha. Out west, Gonzaga faces St. Mary's in the West Coast Conference finale. Lose, and the Bulldogs might need to win the WCC Tournament to make the NCAA tourney. Want to watch the show? Hey hoop enthusiasts, TA and G-Money here, bringing the heat with our latest NBA at the Bar episode. Strap in for a wild ride as we dissect the NBA trade deadline's chaos, including the bombshell firing of Adrian Griffin and what Doc Rivers is cooking up in the aftermath. We're not just here to chat; we're here to challenge the norms and question every crossover, dunk, and defensive play. So grab your favorite drink and get ready to see the league through our unfiltered lens. This round's on us as we spotlight the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are currently owning the West Coast Conference like they've got something to prove. But can they keep their claws sharp and turn their potential into a championship title? Gobert and Edwards are under the microscope as we debate whether this dynamic duo can shake off the 'angry little brother' stigma and lead their pack to glory. Meanwhile, we're stirring the pot on the Brooklyn Nets and Ben Simmons – is he the spark that'll ignite a playoff revolution, or will his history repeat itself? Finally, we're tipping our hats to the old school, where hardwood fundamentals ruled and players like Jordan and O'Neal set the bar for relentless, gritty gameplay. We're not just reminiscing; we're calling for a return to the fierce, fundamental basketball that's fading faster than a defender on a Dončić step-back three. From the Knicks' resilience to Luka's scoreboard wizardry, we're here to champion the raw passion and drive that make the game truly extraordinary. Slam dunk with us as we toast to the legends of the past and the hopefuls of today, all with a drink in hand. Cheers!

In his message at TGC's 2018 West Coast Conference, Juan Sánchez teaches the importance of discerning false teachers and ungodly influences within the church. He discusses the challenge of discerning between those who are open to repentance and those who are hard-hearted, unrepentant, and opposing the truth. Sánchez encourages pastors to pursue righteousness and patience, cleansing themselves from dishonorable ways through faith in Christ, rather than relying on personal efforts or good works.
