Draven and Savvy play an actual, for real drinking game (it came with cards and everything). Things quickly descend into a drunken mess as our two hosts prove you can indeed be a nerd and an alcohol enthusiast. Btw - don't chug a whole glass of wine at the start of a game.
Jason Anarchy is an absolute mad man who started an indie publishing company to put out his own silly games. Starting with the Drinking Quest series and moving onto a series of comedy games with different webcomic artists, Jason has published nearly 20 different games. He believes you should be able to open a game, learn it and play it within a group of friends who have no attention spans. His current title, Cheese Factory, is currently on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/drinkingquest/cheese-factory FOLLOW US ON: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/boardgamebinge Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/boardgamebingepodcast Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/boardgamebinge Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@tinrobotgames WHERE TO FIND OUR PODCAST: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5RJbdkguebb3MSLAatZr7r iHeart Radio: https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-board-game-binge-72500104/ Tune In: https://tunein.com/embed/player/p1344218/ Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5jYXB0aXZhdGUuZm0vYm9hcmRnYW1lYmluZ2U= Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/board-game-binge/id1522623033 Visit Our Websites: Board Game Binge: https://boardgamebinge.com/ Tin Robot Games: https://tinrobotgames.com Elixir Board Games: https://www.elixirboardgames.com/our-games

Contains strong language After a bit of a break the chaps from Polyhedron Collider return with a good old chat about board games. We go full throttle for our review of Wreck & Ruin, race animals in The Champion of the Wild, get all depressed in This War of Mine and drown our sorrows on a Drinking Quest. The boys then have a good lock chat about the current state of board game reviews and look at ethics, how we approach reviews and the best and worst receptions we have had to a review. John, Matt, and Mollie play Drinking Quest! Testing...testing...
Jason Anarchy rejoins us with the very first guest-submitted challenge! He brought to us what he considers “the best worst B-movie,” and we’re inclined to agree. We delight over the 1986 cult martial arts “classic,” No Retreat, No Surrender, starring a bunch of dudes and Jean-Claude Van Damme (sort of). By all means, listen to our overjoyed reactions, but we IMPLORE you to watch this majestic film!
Before Myles delights in the tales of terrifying woe told by Drew and Patrick in their first experience with Amnesia, the boys take a step to defend the Batman v Superman trailer. In the midst of all this, Jason Anarchy, creator of the fantastic Drinking Quest, stops by to chat about his new tabletop RPG, Haiku Warrior, currently setting Kickstarter abuzz!
This week Jason Anarchy, Creator of Drinking Quest joins us on the show and gives us the low down on his new project, Anarchy Plants
N4AL talks with Jason Anarchy, the creator of the tabletop RPG card game "Drinking Quest". We discuss how he created this very popular, social game experience, designed to merge D&D-esque questing with easy to learn rules and the extra (optional) complication of alcohol. Jason tells how how he used a background in sales and business management to help him bootstrap the initial marketing of the game, followed by successful crowdfunding campaigns to produce the sequel editions. Jason is currently in pre-orders for a new expanded Trilogy Edition of the game, and has released a comic book based on the Drinking Quest world.
