Back in the studio for more are Not Producer Kyle (Who's really producing the crap out of this), TK1 (who'd rather not be here) and Angry Ginger (who should have never ever been here). Uber listener, Texan, and continental traveler, Bryan Auer sits in as well. Crimes, Murder, True Crime shows and our current mental health and it's past might begin rearing it's ugly head as well.
In this episode, TK1 gifted us a list of criminals but before we could learn the crime they were responsible for, we had to take our best STAB at it. Join us for the second to last hour of the first day of Podtoberfest. We've had beers and food and more crime than a stick of chalk could outline... but nothing seems to stop us.
In this hour, your favorite podcasters and alleged criminals confess to a few crimes from your youth. Well, they were a very long time ago! Join Ginger, Cole, Kyle and of course the studio audience as we share some funny stories. Only YOU can help solve this case. Put in your earbuds and become the next internet sleuth!
Grant and our in studio listener @BauerFett take on Neighbor Cole and a running late Not Producer Kyle in a game of Bingo-opardy! We first played this game earlier in the year during our Geekmas in July and everyone seemed to have a good time... so why not bring it back for another go? Well, the fun lasts about 7 minutes. Everyone questions the questions. Hates the answers and Grant is anything but happy with The Gameshow Host fielding secondary questions to the game question in order to figure out the answer. A meldown ensues but in the end there is a winner!
In this hour, Not Producer Kyle Phd. put together a list of questions for the group of "Who'd commit the crime". They range from pretty dark and serious to kind of silly and not really a crime at all. The geeks give it their all though! Now we have to ask you... "Who do you think out of us, would commit the crime?" Stories are born. Fun True Crime Facts are shared. This one is a hoot. So listen up or you'll end up in a chalk outline!
In this episode, we (Jason, Kyle, Cole and Grant) continue the True Crime theme from last hour, give out a few "Fun Facts" about murder and serial killing and then go into discussing some trailers for movies and tv shows coming to a streaming network near you! Apologies for some of the echoing. I did my best to cut that out. -Jay The Final Cut Ginger
In this, the first of the many hours of Podtoberfest 2021, we start out with kittens on the loose and a certain neighbor offering to scoop them up and lovingly take care of them... or something like that. Coffee is poured and we are alive with excitement. Grant The Kilted One starts the hour off with a doozy of a true crime fact, because that after all is our THEME! For some reason we get into a discussion about wearing helmets when bike riding? ... then we discuss what this show is really about. BINGE WATCHING!!! -Love On The Spectrum -Only Murders In The Building -Squid Games -Midnight Mass ... are just a few of the shows we discuss. We wrap the hour up with some more facts, thank our sponsors and promise to be right back for 11 more!
In this episode, we geek out about all the different things we've been watching. From a NETFLIX religious horror show with bite, to a documentary about a man with multiple personalities and at least one of them is responsible for murder! Apple's The Morning Show gets a Season 1 rewatch to prepare for the just launched second season and Cole falls down the Amanda Knox rabbit hole after just learning about Foxy Knoxy and her sexual exploits that a whole country judged her by and so she was convicted of murder! Kyle quits mid Eruption and The Angry Ginger wishes he could have one... but post Vasectomy he succumbs to a weekend binge watch session including Midnight Mass, The Matrix and the previously mentioned The Morning Show. Don't forget, this is our last episode till Podtoberfest! Mark your calendars for Oct 22nd and 23rd. Lots of Live original crazy content all themed after everyone's love of True Crime!
In this episode we bid goodbye to one of our precious own. Our number 3 on mic. He hasn't left for greener pastures, just bigger lighthouses and serenity.... or something like that. Also discussed, are movies Quad likely forgot about or didn't know were coming anyway. The Matrix Resurrections, Guilty and Hawkeye are in The Coming Soon segment. River Runner, Only Murders in the Building, Ted Lasso and The British Bake Off are geeked out about. We share some Headlines for the upcoming Catching Up With the Geeks in which Producer Kyle is oblivious to a riot happening outside her door, Neighbor Cole comes back from Vegas (again) and has secrets to share. Ginger is again at war with his neighbor lady over cats and he may be raising a Playboy Playmate.
Some Netflix and Chill, we Stream it and Share it! Only Murders In The Building gets a 3 Episode review. Two of us Love Martin Short's and Steve Martin's podcast mystery show. The other one wasn't won over by it. Not even after hijinks ensue after finding a dead cat in the freezer Reservation Dogs is recommended after the pilot episode gets reviewed and The Force is a documentary about Police Corruption in Oakland, California. Kyle attempts conversion therapy on Cole and Ginger after watching Pray Away on Netflix and then shows compassion for Catlyn Jenner while Ginger and Cole get a lesson in pronouns. In our Coming Soon segment, Seinfeld is coming to Netflix, Cobra Kai will keep on kicking and HBOmax's now neglected Emmy winning series, Entourage is planning a potential comeback. We discuss the trailers for Red Notice, Mayor of Kingstown and My Son.
In this quickie episode, Neighbor Cole and Angry Ginger jump on mic to celebrate their upcoming trip to Nashville to meet the Quadfather (Who happens to not be here...) We geek out about Only Murders In The Building, My 600 Pound Life, You Season 3, and The Return of The Rocketeer on Disney Plus.
In this episode we deep dive into Brendan Fraser through a very six degrees of separation. Quadfather can't wait to meet us in 2 weeks. We're going to mow his lawn and help him move furniture all so we can win over the Quadmother's affection. His... we don't care about. Not Producer Kyle owes Ginger a significant amount of money and we geek out about Marvel's What If... on Disney Plus, Malice at the Palace on Netflix and we go back a couple of years and recommend Trust, a show that's on Hulu that originally broadcast on Hulu in 2018
After leaving us the other morning for his "Real Friends", Quad returns for good. While walking the trail of tears, he got lost in a world of Schmigadoon (or something like that on AppleTV) and realizes his true strength on the show is not his TV/Move knowledge. Neighbor Cole Geeks out about more Alone on Hulu, America's Forgotten Heroes, a podcast that you can't watch, but you can (and must) listen to, and teases something about he and codename Lady Charmin before bringing a Sling Blade to our Weekly Watch Party. Ginger is kind of Meh about Suicide Squad and Jungle Cruise, but comes around through conversation. He's not excited about the Addams Family casting in Netflix's 'Wednesday' series coming from Tim Burton for various reasons. We wrap the show up with talk about the trailers for Hulu's upcoming mini-series, Dopesick, starring Michael Keaton and Rosario Dawson. Cole almost screams himself out of his chair during the first 30 seconds of HBOmax's Malignant, and Quad is coming to terms with his feelings about women kicking butt after watching the trailer for Netflix's upcoming Kate.
In this episode Quad Returns, Grant sticks around for one more hour while Neighbor Cole and Not Producer Kyle go absolutely nowhere... except for maybe back and forth to the food table. (Our apologies for the chewing... we're seeking help.) We play a brand new game called Bingo-opardy! We play for points, bragging rights and the listeners!
Hour 2 of 7 of Geekmas in July. This hour covers the middle half of our normal show. Emails, Shoutouts, and Catching Up With The Geeks. We also finishing up our Geeking out segment from the first hour! Listen for the secret code word to win! Collect them All!

Not-Producer-Kyle is in studio and a special guest joins us at the end of the first hour! Don't forget to collect the secret code word! Santa's Secret Helper!
In this episode we say bon voyage to Not Producer Kyle... but then she contemplates a hostile take over of the 3rd mic. Quad admits he hopes she sticks around but Ginger admits that his Conversion Therapy hasn't worked in the past so he makes no promises. Meanwhile, Neighbor Cole takes us on a flashback to the Brevis Family Farm and recalls a lesson in electrical safety while roofing with his father as an 8 year old. We Geek Out about To Catch and Kill-The Podcast Tapes on HBOmax, The Fear Street Trilogy on Netflix, and Dr. Death on Peacock, and Alone on Hulu. Among many other shows and movies. In the news: Batgirl gets cast, The Lord of The Rings promises Nudity and in Trailer Talk a young Tony Soprano returns and Netflix brings us a very compelling doc about the very silly but apparently serious world of Conversion Therapy!
Neighbor Cole is excited to be ALONE as The Queeffather takes us down the Virgin River. Ginger play's cards with zombies in Black Summer and tries to talk everyone into watching the Servant on AppleTV+. In Trailer Talk Steve Martin and Martin Short start a True Crime Podcast and a Murder happens to close to home... so they enlist the help of Selena Gomez. After losing his wife to pharmaceuticals in Sweet Girl, Jason Momoa goes on the hunt... and Big Pharma sends out the big guns! ...Kyle loses a ton of fluids whilst discussing The Witcher season 2.
Lady Quad returns to the studio to 3rd mic with Ginger and his Neighbor only to question why? Ginger Geeks Out about Dr. Death, The Mosquito Coast, Trying and Physical on AppleTV while Neighbor Cole introduces his young kids to Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers checks out Big Timber and the new season of Alone on Netflix. Not Producer Kyle (A.K.A. Lady Quad) geeks out about A Discovery of Witches, The Witcher, Virgin River and an exciting book about climate change. Let the mockery begin!!! In the news: Knives Out 2 is still casting, Downtown Abby is moving and Netflix Cancels 4 hit shows. HBOmax says no to more Lovecraft and Seinfeld is making an origin movie about... The Pop Tart. In trailer talk. Denzel's Son is on the run in Greece, a Vampire protects her child during an inflight hostage situation and Paul Rudd is Will Ferrell's Shrink.
Not Producer Kyle has a leg up this week as she steps in for The Quadfather. She has some big shoes to fill and she shows up ready to take it all in stride. For the first time ever, Down-Town Abby is discussed, and she can't wait to be naked and Alone with at least one of the hosts. Cole still ignoring his Sweet Tooth, isn't won over by the Hybrids in at all. Even after taking in 3 episodes with his children. Ginger hasn't watched anything new but he makes up for that with news and trailers from all of your favorite Streaming Channels.
Netflix's Black Summer is a relentlessly fueled panic attack that never lets up, while Sweet Tooth and Fatherhood really tug at our heartstrings. But even before you Catch Up with the Geeks, you'll learn that The Law has moved into the Ginger's place and Neighbor Cole gets de-pants by his Junior. We're left in stitches over a White Woman's Instagram and then discover Batman is forced to give a "Hard No" on mouth parties. Meanwhile the Suicide Squad wait for Harley Quinn to go number 2 and then go on the hunt for an alien butt-hole. Also, the Quadfather is M.I.A. again this week. Something about moving and being physically and emotionally available to his wife beaters... or is it to his actual wife?
We are geeking out about Stephen King's The Stand on Paramount Plus, The Kominsky Method and Son of Sam on Netflix. Disney has us getting lost in time with Loki, and AppleTV actually gets turned on, and the very witty Mystic Quest pilot is viewed. Do these show's pass the "3 Episode Challenge"? The Big Lebowski is Neighbor Cole's Weekly Watch Party pick. We share some clips... relive the high's and lows of this film and grade it. What did you give this film? We wrap up the show with a slew of what's happening on all of the streaming platforms, view a couple of upcoming trailers, like: Invasion (AppleTV) Nine Perfect Strangers (HULU) *Not Amazon Video* Masters of the Universe: Revelations (Netflix)
This podcast is all about the streaming Channels. What's in your Stream? Weekly recommendations for New, Upcoming and stuff that should be revisited by The Angry Ginger, Neighbor Cole and The Quadfather
Your fearless streaming channel watching geeks return this week and have watched a ton of stuff. First off we give ourselves a very happy 9 year anniversary pat on the back! Once that wraps we make an announcement about an event we have coming up in July. From there we get into what we've been geeking out about on the streaming channels. Army of Dead, Tiger King, The Mitchel's V.S. The Machines, and Boss Level. We're on the fence about Tenet. In our Weekly Watch Party segment, it was The Quadfather's turn to pick the movie for Ginger and Neighbor Cole to watch and boy did he let us down. Our theme was music in movies for the month so he went with Amadeus. Fortunately for us, the directors cut was the only thing streaming free (Tubi). Cole and I were in for the long haul on this 1984 Oscar winning 3 hour look into the world of Opera. We wrap the show up with news about Amazon purchasing MGM for 8.45 billion. More casting for Knives Out 2, Marvel's Secret Invasion, and HBOmax is giving us a new sequel to Evil Dead. Then in trailer talk, Netflix drops peek at the second season of Black Summer. Amazon is going full on Summer Blockbuster movie with The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt. Before discussing those trailers we first delve into the action packed all female starring cast of Gunpowder Milkshake. It's basically John Wick but sexier! In our eyes anyway.

Is Amazon going to go broke funding their new Lord of the Rings series? Should HBOmax be embarrased by their Q1 subscriber count? Also, Netflix announces that Zach Snyder's Zombie tiger in Army of the Dead is based off of a tiger that Carol Baskin's owns. Should we believe this? Borat returns with everything from the cutting room floor and speaking of returning, it looks as if The Black Widow will finally be showing her face in theaters this summer!
Quadfather possibly sabotages the big move to Tennessee, but uses the flight time to catch up on Made for Love and The One. Neighbor Cole doesn't watch anything, but reads (and shares) about the Native American savagery that took place back in the day, and Ginger watches This is a Robbery and not one but two Godzilla films. The Weekly Watch Party theme is B movies... or movies so Bad they're Good! Quad just forces us to watch 'The Fanatic', a movie that was just BAD! John Travolta stars as Moose, a simple Hollywood Autograph hound who gets misunderstood by his favorite actor and falls into a downward spiral of voyeurism, break-ins and murderous rage!
Ginger's bad movie pick of this month is IRON SKY!!! What happens when astronauts return to the moon for the first time in 50 years and they discover the 3rd Reich is hiding out on the dark side of the moon? Racisim, Politics, Bad Jokes and CGI... that's what! Will this win the Weekly Watch Party Bad Movie month? If you want to watch it, you can find it on Amazon Prime for free.
