Fáilte ar ais chuig eagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo ar an 10ú lá de mí Aibreán, liomsa Lauren Ní Loingsigh. I 1981 thug an ghrúpa gallaher timpeall 10 milliún punt do shuíomh a bhí 41 acra timpeall Stephen's Green. I 2009 bhí clann timpeall an tír ábalta nach mór 500 euro gach mí a shábháil ar an teach de bharr gur thit praghsanna go mór I 75 bhliain. I 2012 bhí gnólacht ó Ros Cré ar Dragon's Den. Tháinig Graham Kenny agus a bean chéile suas le gnólacht chun fráma a chuir timpeall a chéad bhróga bábóg. Tháinig siad suas leis an smaoineamh I 2001. I 2014 tháinig an nuacht amach san Aonach Urmhumhan go raibh siad chun óstach a dhéanamh ar an Fleadh Cheoil I 2015. Is imeacht é a raibh seachtain ar fhad agus cheap na ndaoine a raibh ina chónaí sa bhaile go mbeadh níos mó ná 20,000 duine breise sa bhaile. Sin Flo Rida agus Kesha le Right Round – an t-amhrán is mó ar an lá seo I 2009. Ag lean ar aghaidh le nuacht cheoil ar an lá seo I 1985 thosaigh Madonna a chéad cheolchoirm I Meiriceá Thuaidh – chan sí trí oíche sa Paramount Theatre I Washington. D'oscail The Beastie Boys do Madonna ar an turas seo. I 2019 chuaigh Billie Eilish chuig barr na cairteacha sa Bhreatain lena chéad albam When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Bhí sí an cailín is óige chun shroich uimhir a haon lena chéad albam sa Bhreatain. I 2020 ag na Grammys bhuaigh sí Albam den bhliain, agus Amhrán den bhliain lena amhrán Bad Guy – agus I bhfad níos mó. Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh aisteoir David Harbour I Nua Eabhrac I 1975 agus rugadh amhránaí Sophie Ellis Bextor sa Bhreatain ar an lá seo I 1979 agus seo chuid de a amhrán. Beidh mé ar ais libh amárach le heagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo. Welcome back to another edition of Ar An Lá Seo on the 10th of April, with me Lauren Ní Loingsigh 1981: The gallaher group paid an estimated 10 million pounds for a 41 acre site adjoining stephens green in one of irelands biggest property deals. 2009: Families were able to save up to €500 a month on their household spending thanks to the biggest price drop in over 75 years. 2012 - A business that frames baby's first shoes based in Roscrea featured on RTE's 'Dragons' Den' Graham Kenny, a farmer all his life, set up a picture framing business, Framed Memories Forever, in 2001 with wife Cassandra, an artist and ballet teacher, as a source of off-farm income.  2014 - News broke that Nenagh was been chosen as the host town for the 2015 Munster Fleadh Cheoil. The week-long music event – the biggest of the provincial Fleadh gatherings, would attract as many as 20,000 visitors to Nenagh and its surrounds. It was the town's first time to host a Munster Fleadh.  That was Flo Rida and Kesha with Right Round– the biggest song on this day in 2009. Onto music news on this day In 1985, Madonna kicked off her very first North American tour by playing the first of three nights at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. The Beastie Boys opened for Madonna on this 40-date Virgin Tour. In 2019, Billie Eilish was at No.1 on the UK chart with her debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? It made Eilish the youngest female solo act to chart at No.1 in the UK. At the 2020 Grammy Awards, it won Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, while 'Bad Guy' from the album won Record of the Year. And finally celebrity birthdays on this day – actor David Harbour was born in New York in 1975 and singer Sophie Ellis Bextor was born in the UK in 1979 and this is one of her songs I'll be back with you tomorrow with another edition of Ar An Lá Seo.

In this episode, Tony Brueski investigates the Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX, where ghost stories have become part of the venue's lore. Visitors and staff share tales of cold spots, shifting objects, and a shadowy figure known to appear in the balcony. Some say these occurrences are the result of residual hauntings—fragments of the past replaying endlessly within the theater's walls. But could there be more to these experiences? Tony explores both paranormal and psychological theories, questioning whether the theater's storied history has created the perfect setting for ghostly encounters—or if the mysteries of the Paramount are simply part of the show.

Visit our website: https://arkmedia.org/ This conversation on YouTube: https://youtu.be/O7F7Pq-XI40 Show Notes: Since October 7th, on this podcast we have tried to present Israel's dilemmas and challenges as Israel responded to a genocidal attack from Gaza and what is now a multi-front war. We have tried to do this by talking to Israelis – Israeli journalists, political figures, historians and other thought leaders, and different people from Israel's civil society. We have tried to provide historical context and perspectives from various actors in the U.S.-Israel relationship from both sides of that relationship. We did not think we would still be recording these episodes – with this focus – for one year. And yet, here we are — approaching the one-year anniversary of October 7, which will be regarded as one of the darkest days in Jewish history (and one of the darkest days in the history of Western Civilization). Most of our episodes have been shaped by weekly and daily news developments. But as we approach the one-year anniversary, we wanted to take a step back, and spend extended time with a few of our previous guests and thought leaders who are not our go-to analysts. We asked each one of them to take a longer horizon perspective, to look back at this past year and the year ahead. In each conversation, we will try to understand the larger lessons these guests have learned as we approach this grim milestone. If you are listening to this episode on a podcast app, please note that this series was filmed in a studio and is also available in video form on our YouTube channel. You can find a link here: [Ilan, insert link]. We begin this series with a conversation with Douglas Murray – war journalist, columnist, and bestselling author. We will be dropping one of these long-form conversations with a different guest each week between now and the first couple weeks after 10/07. LINKS: On Sunday, September 8, Douglas Murray will kick off his first ever US Tour with Live Nation. Long before Oct 7, Douglas was a widely read journalist, bestselling author, and one of the most prescient intellectuals in the world. Since Oct 7, he has also become one of the strongest voices for Israel and the Jewish people. Douglas will be sharing experiences from his time in Israel post October 7, including never before seen footage from his time in Israel. On September 8, he will be at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. On September 10, he'll be at the Fillmore Miami Beach. On September 11, the Warner Theatre in Washington DC. On September 23, The Wiltern in Los Angeles. On September 29, the Beacon Theatre in New York City. And on October 13, Paramount Theatre in Denver. The evening will be filled with great pride for am yisrael and hope for the future. Some shows are sold out or very near sold out. Tickets can be purchased through Live Nation's website: https://shorturl.at/yilaw NEW YORK CITY — September 24 — Join us for the first major live recording of Call Me Back, held at the Streicker Center, co-sponsored by UJA Federation of NY, and featuring Amir Tibon on the official launch date of his book The Gates of Gaza: A Story of Betrayal, Survival, and Hope in Israel's Borderlands. In his new book, Amir tells the gripping story of the Tibon family's ordeal at Kibbutz Nahal Oz on October 7 and the heroic rescue by Amir's father, retired General Noam Tibon. Woven throughout the book is Amir's own expertise as a longtime journalist in Israel and in Washington, the history of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, and the conflict between Israel and Gaza. We are excited to bring this program – with our partners at The Streicker Center and UJA Federation of NY – to the Call Me Back audience. Dave grew up in Bloomsburg, PA, attended West Point, fought in the Gulf War with the 82nd Airborne, then ran a tech software business in Pittsburgh before becoming CEO of Bridgewater Associates. Dave has emerged as one of the strongest pro-Israel voices and allies of the Jewish community this election cycle; his wife Dina was a deputy national security advisor in the White House and one of the architects of the Abraham Accords. We are going to have a fascinating conversation about his trip to Israel in January, what he's seen on the campaign trail and how his experience as a combat veteran informs his perspective on the war in Israel and America's role in the region. Remembering Bill Walton: Basketball Star and Grateful Dead SuperfanIn this episode of the Deadhead Cannabis Show, Larry Mishkin covers various topics, including a historic Grateful Dead show, personal concert experiences, and music news. Larry starts with a deep dive into the Grateful Dead's June 3, 1976, concert at the Paramount Theater in Portland, Oregon. This show marked the band's return after a year-long hiatus, featuring five new songs and a revived tune from a four-year break. He highlights the opening track, written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, which nostalgically reflects on the band's Festival Express tour, a legendary 1970 train journey across Canada with prominent rock bands.Larry then discusses the song "Lazy Lightning," introduced at the same 1976 concert. Written by Bobby and John Perry Barlow, it became a fan favorite for its melody and message of living in the moment, though it was retired from the Grateful Dead's repertoire by 1984. He transitions into music news by honoring Doug Ingle of Iron Butterfly, who recently passed away. Larry reminisces about the band's iconic 1968 track "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" and its influence on the late 60s music scene. The podcast also pays tribute to Bill Walton, the legendary basketball player and devoted Deadhead who passed away at 71. Larry shares stories of Walton's deep connection with the Grateful Dead, including his record of attending 869 concerts, significantly more than his total basketball games played. Larry recounts Walton's influence on fellow athletes and his unique presence at Dead shows. Finally, Larry describes his recent experience at a Dead & Company concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas. He marvels at the venue's immersive visual technology, which enhanced the concert experience, likening it to a planetarium. Despite the advanced visuals sometimes overshadowing the music, Larry enjoyed the performance and the unique atmosphere. He also mentions a mini-exhibition featuring Dave Lemieux's tape collection and the significance of tape trading in Grateful Dead fandom. In summary, this episode covers a blend of Grateful Dead history, personal concert experiences, tributes to influential music figures, and the latest in concert technology, providing a rich narrative for Deadheads and music enthusiasts alike.  Grateful DeadJune 3, 1976  (48 Years Ago)Paramount TheaterPortland, ORGrateful Dead Live at Paramount Theatre on 1976-06-03 : Free Borrow & Streaming : Internet Archive First show back after 1975 year offPrior show:  Sept. 28, 1975 – last of the four shows in 1975, this show is 9 months later.  Long wait for Deadheads. Dead did not disappoint with five new songs and a breakout after a 4 year hiatus.  INTRO:                                 Might As Well                                                Track #1                                                1:15 – 2:50 “Take that ride again”                 Might as Well” is a song written by Jerry Garcia with lyrics penned by Robert Hunter. Released on Garcia's 3d solo album, Reflections, in February, 1976.  It's one of the tracks from Garcia's solo career, showcasing his musical versatility and unique ability to transform personal experiences into joyful music.  The song takes a nostalgic look back at the Grateful Dead's time on the Festival Express Tour, a memorable rail trip that brought together prominent artists of the '60s for a raucous, whisky-fueled journey across America.                 Festival Express is the 1970 train tour of the same name across Canada taken by some of North America's most popular rock bands, including Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Band, Buddy Guy, Flying Burrito Bros, Ian & Sylvia's Great Speckled Bird, Mountain and Delaney & Bonnie & Friends.  Later made into a movie             Festival Express was staged in three Canadian cities: Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgary (Montreal and Vancouver were also originally scheduled but both dropped)  during the summer of 1970. Rather than flying into each city, the musicians traveled by chartered Canadian National Railwaystrain, in a total of 14 cars (two engines, one diner, five sleepers, two lounge cars, two flat cars, one baggage car, and one staff car).[5] The train journey between cities ultimately became a combination of non-stop jam sessions and partying fueled by alcohol. One highlight of the documentary is a drunken jam session featuring The Band's Rick Danko, the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir, New Riders of the Purple Sage's John Dawson, as well as Janis Joplin.             Here, it is played as the show opener.  Ultimately, became more of a first set closer, a popular one along with Deal, another Garcia solo tune.                     Played 111 times                First:  June 3, 1976 at Paramount Theatre, Portland, OR, USA  THIS SHOW  19 times that year              Last:  March 23, 1994 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, NY, USA – only time played that year, 6 times in ‘91                 SHOW No. 1:                    Lazy Lightning                                                Track #6                                                0:00 – 1:46 Written by Bobby and John Perry Barlow, paired with Supplication in concert and released with Supplication as the opening tracks on the album, Kingfish, released in March, 1976. Lazy Lightning is often interpreted as a metaphorical representation of the pursuit of a carefree and leisurely lifestyle amidst the chaos and hardships of reality. The lyrics depict a whimsical scenario where the protagonist encounters a bolt of lightning that transforms into a woman, symbolizing the allure and transitory nature of fleeting pleasures. The song encourages listeners to embrace the present moment and let go of the rigid expectations and responsibilities that burden their lives. It is a celebration of spontaneity, freedom, and the pursuit of personal bliss. Lazy Lightning became a fan favorite due to its infectious melody, poetic lyrics, and the sense of liberation it evoked. Grateful Dead fans often resonated with the song's message of embracing the present moment and shedding societal expectations. It became a rallying cry for those seeking to live life on their own terms, igniting a sense of camaraderie and freedom among concert-goers. Usually, a late first set number.  Unfortunately, dropped from the repertoire in 1984.  I got to hear it three or four times.  A fun number. Played:  also played 111 timesFirst:  June 3, 1976 at Paramount Theatre, Portland, OR, USA  THIS SHOW!!Last:  October 31, 1984 at Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, CA, USA  MUSIC NEWS – Intro music:  In A Gadda Da Vida:  IRON BUTTERFLY - IN A GADDA DA VIDA - 1968 (ORIGINAL FULL VERSION) CD SOUND & 3D VIDEO (youtube.com)Start - :45 is a song recorded by Iron Butterfly, written by band member Doug Ingle and released on their 1968 album of the same name.At slightly over 17 minutes, it occupies the entire second side of the album. The lyrics, a love song from the biblical Adam to his mate Eve, are simple and are heard only at the beginning and the end. The middle of the song features a two-and-a-half-minute Ron Bushy drum solo.  Famously featured on a Simpson's episode when Bart switches the organist's regular music for this tune and hands out the words to the congregation who sing along.  The older organ player plays the entire organ solo (although they only feature a part of it) and then at the end promptly slumps over at the keyboard. Featured today as a tribute to Doug Ingle, songwriter, keyboard player and vocalist for the song, who passed away on May 24th at the age of 78.  He was the last surviving member of the original band lineup.Bill Walton passed away on last Monday, May 27th at the all too young age of 71.  Couldn't miss him at the shows, 7 foot redhead dancing away or else up on stage.Dead & Co. at the Sphere, saw the June 1st show.                SHOW No. 2:                    Supplication                                                Track #7                                                2:00 – 3:30 Written by Bobby and John Perry Barlow, paired with Lazy Lightning in concert and released with Lazy Lightning as the opening tracks on the album, Kingfish, released in March, 1976. The song delves into the universal theme of the human experience, specifically emphasizing the concept of surrender and humility. It explores the idea of surrendering oneself to a higher power, relinquishing control, and embracing the unknown. The lyrics touch upon the vulnerability and humility required to let go and trust in something beyond our comprehension. Supplication encourages listeners to reflect upon their own lives, urging them to question their beliefs, values, and the significance of surrendering to a greater force. Played:  111 times (a good number for the lottery, keeps coming up), always paired with Lazy LightningFirst:  June 3, 1976 at Paramount Theatre, Portland, OR, USA  THIS SHOW!!Last:  October 31, 1984 at Berkeley Community Theatre, Berkeley, CA, USA SHOW No. 3:                    Dancin In the Streets                                                Track #11                                                0:00 – 1:42 "Dancing in the Street" is a song written by Marvin Gaye, William Stevenson, and Ivy Jo Hunter. It first became popular in 1964 when recorded by Martha and the Vandellas whose version was released on July 31, 1964 and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks, behind "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" by Manfred Mann and it also peaked at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. In 1982, the rock group Van Halen took their cover of "Dancing in the Street" to No. 38 on the Hot 100 chart and No. 15 in Canada on the RPM chart. A 1985 duet cover by David Bowie and Mick Jagger charted at No. 1 in the UK and reached No. 7 in the US. The song has been covered by many other artists, including The Kinks, Tages, Black Oak Arkansas, Grateful Dead, Little Richard, Myra and Karen Carpenter. I saw it as the first night show opener on June 14, 1985 at the Greek Theater as part of the band's 20 Anniversary celebration.  A really fun concert tune.  The 1970's versions always had strong Donna support backing up Bobby's lead vocals. This show was the first time the band had played the song since Dec. 31, 1971 (203 shows) Played: 131 timesFirst:  July 3, 1966 at Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, CA, USALast:  April 6, 1987 at Brendan Byrne Arena, East Rutherford, NJ, USA MJ NEWS Blake Schneider passed away May 27th at 69.  Legendary cultivator who created the best strain of marijuana I ever smoked.  We just called it Blake weed and put it up against any other strain, anywhere, any time.  Folks would say they had the best weed until I let them smoke some of the Blake weed.  They never failed to concede.  Eccentric, temperamental, hospitable, mentor and good friend.  And self titled “best joint roller in the worlds.”  Was one of my Bulls season ticket partners during the Jordan era.  Every home game began with a pregame at Blake's loop residences including great wines, gourmet appetizers and snacks, top shelf liquor (on the way out the door we always did our “Go Bulls” shots) and more marijuana than anyone should ever smoke.  With four of us in the room, he would have 3 joints circulating at all times.  With his ever present life partner, Jeanne, an evening at Blakes was as much fun as the actual game itself.  Ran into a problem with the Green County Sheriff, but gave them the finger when the feds took the case over and Blake only had to serve 11 months at a fed minimum risk prison instead of the 20 years that Green County said was a done deal given the number of plants he was growing at his farm house in Argyle, WI.  They were not happy campers when the feds moved in to take over the case due to the value of the property they could sieve and force Blake to buy back from them.  Blake was a true party legend and will be sorely missed by those of us that knew him, loved him and tolerated him. 2.        Marijuana Terpenes Are ‘As Effective As Morphine' For Pain Relief And Have Fewer Side Effects, New Study Finds 3.        CBD Is Effective In Treating Anxiety, Depression And Poor Sleep, Study Finds4.        Marijuana And Hemp Businesses At Odds Over Consumable Cannabinoid Ban In House Farm Bill  SHOW No. 4:                    Samson and Delilah                                                Track #12                                                0:00 – 1:45 "Samson and Delilah" is a traditional song based on the Biblical tale of Samson and his betrayal by Delilah. Its best known performer is perhaps the Grateful Dead, who first performed the song live in 1976, with Bobby singing lead vocals and in the ‘70's with Donna joining in. It was frequently played on Sundays due to the biblical reference. Released by the band in 1977 on their album Terrapin Station. Although Weir learned the song from Reverend Gary Davis, several earlier versions had been recorded under various titles, including "If I Had My Way I'd Tear the Building Down"/"Oh Lord If I Had My Way" by Blind Willie Johnson in 1927.[1] The song has since been performed by a wide variety of artists ranging from Dave van Ronk, Bob Dylan, Charlie Parr, The Staple Singers, Ike and Tina Turner, Clara Ward, Dorothy Love Coates & The Gospel Harmonettes, to Peter, Paul and Mary, The Washington Squares, The Blasters, Willie Watson, Elizabeth Cook, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band (in Verona, Italy 2006). Guest star Simon Oakland sings the song with the drovers around a campfire in the Rawhide episode "Incident of the Travellin' Man", aired in season six on October 17, 1963. A long time favorite tune with a distinctive drummers intro that tipped off the song and got the crowd fired up. Settled into a set opener, more frequently a second set opener and often played on Sundays due to its biblical reference with Bobby's “This being Sunday . .”  Played:  365 timesFirst:  June 3, 1976 at Paramount Theatre, Portland, OR, USA  THIS SHOWLast:  July 9, 1995 at Soldier Field OUTRO:                               The Wheel                                                Track #22                                                2:48 – 4:30                 One of their most beloved songs, “The Wheel,” holds a special place in the hearts of fans worldwide. Written by Jerry Garcia, Robert Hunter, and Bill Kreutzmann, this folk-rock anthem has captivated listeners with its enigmatic lyrics and catchy melody. The song's meaning has been widely debated among enthusiasts, and its cryptic nature has allowed for multiple interpretations.            “The Wheel” reflects the transient nature of life, offering a philosophical perspective on the cycles we all experience. The lyrics suggest that life is like a wheel, constantly turning and repeating itself. The song evokes a sense of impermanence and reminds us of the cyclical patterns we encounter throughout our existence. This theme resonates strongly with the band's philosophy and their connection to the spiritual and psychedelic culture of the late 1960s and early 1970s.                “The Wheel” was released on the Grateful Dead's album “Garcia” in 1972.             “The Wheel” is characterized by its infectious melody and intricate guitar work. The song showcases the Grateful Dead's ability to seamlessly blend folk, rock, and improvisational elements into a cohesive piece of music.            Normally, a second set tune, into or out of drums/space although it moved around a bit in the second set.  Here it is the encore which is more of a rarity.            Played 259 times           First: June 3, 1976 at Paramount Theatre, Portland, OR, USA  THIS SHOW            Last:  May 25, 1995 at Memorial Stadium, Seattle, WA                                         .Produced by PodConx Deadhead Cannabis Show - https://podconx.com/podcasts/deadhead-cannabis-showLarry Mishkin - https://podconx.com/guests/larry-mishkinRob Hunt - https://podconx.com/guests/rob-huntJay Blakesberg - https://podconx.com/guests/jay-blakesbergSound Designed by Jamie Humiston - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamie-humiston-91718b1b3/Recorded on Squadcast

We've got someone on the show this week who makes it her business to show us exactly how wonderful we as women are–just as we are! She is the queen of keeping it real, a hilariously honest actress, standup comedian, and the Instagram star who has become our go-to for a belly laugh when the world's expectations just seem a tad too polished–it's Celeste Barber! If you haven't seen Celeste on her Instagram account, get on over there and join the nearly 10 million people who are clamoring for her content each week (and if you have any doubt, she won the “Funniest Lady on Instagram Award” back in 2017). She's also a successful standup comedian who sold out three seasons of her “Challenge Accepted” Tour in the US, and has a Netflix Special (“Fine, Thanks”) and a dramatic comedy series that we just love called “Wellmania.”   Jen and Celeste get into it about:  The riotous juggle Celeste manages by shining a light on the quirks of the beauty industry, all while paving her own extraordinary path.  Celeste opens up about the nuanced battles of being valued for her sharp mind and quicker wit in a scene often unforgiving to women. Celeste and Jen share about the beautiful chaos of balancing a career with being a superhero mom (or at least trying to be).  This episode is more than just laughs (though, swear, you'll have plenty); it's a pat on the back for every one of us out here, doing the thing, being utterly magnificent in our complexity. Here's to celebrating the splendid and wonderful you! * * * Thought-Provoking Quotes: “I would like to live one day without anxiety. I would also like to be a Janet Jackson backup dancer. That's all I ask for.” - Celeste Barber “I take my hat off to women in general, just always and forever. "The mothers who work in the day and then go home and be excellent mothers at night, and they go back to work in the day and they come home and they're excellent mothers. How do they do that?” - Celeste Barber “With women, [being] funny or smart or boundary-pushing is fine as an idea, but [we're asked] 'can you be safe and pretty because that's just easier for us.' And so shifting that lens, the thing is, we're multifaceted. There are so many different types of things to celebrate within women." - Celeste Barber Resources Mentioned in This Episode: Celeste Barber: Challenge Accepted (Celeste's 2019 Comedy Special) Celeste Barber: Fine, Thanks (Celeste's 2023 Comedy Special) All Saints (Medical Drama that got Celeste her start) Wellmania (2023 Netflix Series Starring Celeste) Celeste Barber: Backup Dancer Tour Celeste Barber and Tom Ford Collab Celeste will be in Dallas June 10th at the Majestic Theatre, in Austin June 13th at the Paramount Theatre, and in Houston June 14th at 713 Music Hall Guest's Links: Celeste's Website Celeste's Instagram Celeste's Facebook Celeste's Twitter Celeste's YouTube Channel Connect with Jen! It's over for both the Jets and the Giants now as they both fall to 5-9. Tommy DeVito and Zach Wilson each took beatings from the opposing defenses. Rob Saleh looked clueless again, and the Jets don't have any competitive fire at all. Are we to believe all of this is going to change with Aaron Rodgers at QB? Mekhi Becton had a bad game and Boomer thought the Giants offensive line had something against DeVito with the way they played. The Jets offense has no pulse at all. Why wasn't Becton benched yesterday? Gio wonders why Rob Saleh is getting another opportunity next season. Mike McDaniel ran circles around Saleh twice this season. And the Jets are going to bring all these idiots back? Boomer said, ‘don't be surprised' if there are some guys that don't come back. Boomer's not sure if putting Aaron Rodgers on that team we saw yesterday would even make a difference. The owner has to be getting tired of losing. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and he is very ill. He starts with the sounds from the Giants loss in New Orleans. Brian Daboll said no area was good enough. Jaylen Waddle had a huge game against the Jets. Saleh was asked about getting blown out. DJ Reed said some days ‘you get an ass whoopin'. The Bills ran the ball down the Cowboys' throat in Buffalo. Schwartzy The Snowman turned out great as he did actually look like a snowman.  Hour 2 Boomer has been looking at a lot of footage from yesterday's game and the Jets offensive line is even worse than it looked. Boomer feels bad for Zach Wilson. He took vicious hits. Mekhi Becton had a terrible game and was smiling and laughing afterwards. It seems like the Jets are bringing back Saleh and Joe Douglas. Joe Flacco will get to face the Jets in a few weeks as will Bill Belichick in what will probably be his last game as coach of the Patriots. Jake Browning got revenge on the Vikings Saturday. They had cut him earlier in his career. Boomer said owners change their minds, and there's no guarantee that Saleh and or Douglas would be back next season. Somebody has to be the sacrificial lamb and that could be Saleh. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Jets getting shut out by the Dolphins. That's 13 straight years the Jets have been eliminated from the playoffs. The Giants lost in New Orleans and didn't score a TD. Saquon had 14 yards on 9 carries. Jerry went around the NFL yesterday. In the final segment of the hour, Little Boomer calls in. He was one of the big stars from Friday night.  Hour 3 Yesterday was the 12th game with Rob Saleh as head coach without the Jets scoring a TD. An amazing statistic. Boomer said if you're a player on a bad team playing for nothing, you still want to look good on tape if you are an impending free agent. You also don't want to get hurt in a meaningless game. Mike Fleigelman is in for Eddie and he was at the Jets game in Miami yesterday. He barely got back in time for this early morning shift. Boomer said in Saleh's defense, he has had Zach Wilson and a cast of characters at QB. Boomer seems to think Zach is headed to Minnesota next season. Jerry returns for an update but first we open gifts from Garmany. The Giants lost to the Saints and sacked Tommy DeVito seven times. The Cowboys were practically a no show in Buffalo. The Dolphins' owner was doing the Jaylen Waddle dance. Deion Sanders was a guest with Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco and didn't like the way he was introduced. In the final s egment of the hour, Yamamoto met with the Mets and Yankees over the weekend. He had dinner at Steve Cohen's Connecticut home.  Hour 4 Brandon Tierney is flTieooded in and won't be able to make it into work today. His street is flooded and he can't drive through it. Diane calls in to see if we got her package in the mail. She sent us coffee mugs and bags with caricatures of ants on them. Where will Bill Belichick go after this season? Many seem to think the Chargers as they just fired their GM and Head Coach. There's a new Christmas book called, ‘Hookers and Blow Save Christmas'. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and they talk about Tiger Woods and his son Charlie playing together. Gio had a golf shot hit a tree and come back to hit Gio right in the shoulder. The Giants lost in New Orleans and did not even manage a TD. After losing 30-0 to the Dolphins, he was asked if it was embarrassing. DJ Reed said ‘sometimes you get your ass whooped'. Nick Sirianni said the Eagles need to get a win tonight in Seattle. The Moment of The Day involves Boomer morphing into Steve Somers. In the final segment of the show, are the Cowboys the most hated team in the NFL? In baseball, is it the Yankees? In basketball, is it the Lakers? We mean long term for this conversation. Here and there another team is hated for a short period of time. In hockey, Boomer said it's the Maple Leafs. Gio said he got videos from people saying he beat Eddie in the chug contest even though Eddie was declared the winner. Speedy beat Al 2-1 in the free throw shooting contest.

Hour 1 Tommy DeVito and the Giants go into New Orleans this week. Every game he plays, teams have more tape on him to look at. We talked about playing in your hometown where you live. Boomer got to do that with the Jets, but he was 32 and already had been to a Super Bowl. Gio said it's like a video game, where every level gets harder. This week it's going on the road and in a dome. They are desperate if they want to get in the playoffs. Boomer is still interested in watching Zach Wilson, but Gio said it doesn't matter because he is not going to be here next year. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Knicks losing to the Jazz. The Nets beat Kevin Durant and the Suns in Phoenix. In Milwaukee, there was a scramble for a ball after the game that resulted in a scuffle in the hallways. Giannis scored 64 and wanted the ball or maybe he wanted it for Damian Lillard. The Sixers beat the Pistons, Detroit's 21st straight loss. The Spurs lost, their 18th in a row. Tommy DeVito is going to keep letting his personality show but is locked in on the Saints. Bill Belichick is ‘getting ready for Kansas City', no matter what the question is. The NFL is going to play a game in Brazil next season, which reminded Gio of body parts washing up on shore during the Olympics. ‘Pump it up baby, OT game winner' from the Devils 2-1 win over Boston. In the final segment of the hour, Draymond Green got himself an indefinite suspension for striking Jusuf Nurkic. This is a recurring problem with Green so you can't just let this go if you're Adam Silver. Something snaps in him during competitive situations.  Hour 2 After the Bucks/Pacers game last night, there was a scrum for the game ball in the hallways as Giannis wanted it for either himself for scoring 64 or for Damian Lillard. The Pacers wanted it for their rookie who scored his first points. Gio asked Boomer if there was ever a ball he really wanted, but there wasn't. The NBA is unhinged right now and Gio blames the NBA Cup. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks losing to the Jazz. The Nets beat Kevin Durant and the Suns. Giannis scored 64 last night and then things got heated after the game in the hallway as he wanted the basketball. Tommy DeVito said Daniel Jones texts him a lot and fully supports him. Gio said the text reads, ‘don't forget this is my team greaseball'. Zach Wilson was happy to have a good flow on offense. In the final segment of the hour, a man calls in to say Boomer's former teammate Mike Hammerstein, was his supervisor at work. It was an odd call. He said he has throat cancer due to sex.  Hour 3 We took a call from Ireland, where Mike had to bury his 90 year old uncle. It was not as bad as it sounds. With the Reggie White 30 For 30 airing last night, Boomer reminisced about the time a rookie offensive lineman on the Bengals had a bad day against Reggie White. And therefore, Boomer had a bad day. A caller tells us about a time a fan was killed at Shea Stadium during halftime of a Jets game after getting hit with a model airplane. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks losing to the Jazz. Shannon Sharpe talked about Draymond Green's behavior on the court after being suspended indefinitely by the NBA. There was chaos last night after the Bucks/Pacers game as Giannis scored 64 and went looking for the ball after the game. A scuffle ensued outside the Pacers locker room. Zach Wilson talked about some of his favorite plays from this past week. In the final segment of the hour, Gio loved a video Sean Avery posted of a fan annoying Rangers fans by yelling about traffic getting into and out of NYC. He also enjoyed the video of Chris Cuomo interviewing social media influencer Baylen Dupree. She has tourettes and she was giving him the finger and saying ‘go F yourself Chris'. Gio thinks he just had her on to laugh. Some people thought she was an actor faking this.  Hour 4 Tomorrow night is our B& Live Show at the Paramount in Long Island. What type of drunk Boomer do we want tomorrow night? We want him to have a nice buzz, but not hammered like last time. Jerry returns for his last update but first we talked about tomorrow night's live show where we will chug beers vs Eddie. Jerry starts with the Knicks losing to the Jazz last night. They had a particularly bad second quarter. Giannis scored 64 and wanted the game ball so he went after it in the hallway near the Pacers locker room and an escalation occurred. Tommy DeVito will not let all the attention go to his head, but he will let his personality show. He said he is locked in to the Saints game this Sunday. Zach Wilson was impressed with how the offense played last week. The Moment of The Day involves text messages between Tommy DeVito and Daniel Jones. In the final segment of the show, Mad Dog Russo has a very hard time doing a commercial for a new movie. Ken Rosenthal said San Francisco has a ‘city problem', as players and their wives don't want to live there and it hurts their pursuit of Ohtani. Tomorrow night is our B& Live Show at the Paramount in Long Island. Should Tommy DeVito move to Manhattan or stay in Jersey in a place like Hoboken.
