It's an election year, and we figured we'd bravely step forward and tackle the REAL questions weighing our minds. Could a scandal tank Groose? Is the falling moon a hoax meant to incite panic? We're back with our first recorded episode since the strike! Unfortunately, its kind of boring and not that much happens. Fortunately, the swabbies are there and the monster is still called Grunchor. Plus we talk about The Groose, and also try to determine what Pokemon type the Grinch is, for reasons I don't quite remember, but I do remember he's Normal.
Matt was the best runner on Kirk's college track team. He was a 4:00 miler and a 1:47 800m runner. In the twenty years since they last saw each, Kirk found OCR and trail racing while Matt dabbled in triathlon before becoming a National Record holder on the row and ski ergs. And today here they are, reunited on The Running Public!

We are your hosts, bedroth and Shootkapow, a father/son duo who love music and video games and especially music IN video games! This episode is all about those characters in games that you love - or love to hate! Rivals have been around as long as there have been heroes to compete against, or develop a complicated relationship with. From the obscure to the more-beloved-than-the-hero, here are very good themes based on some of our favorite video game rivals! This one includes a special bonus segment featuring picks from our earliest listeners and good friends from podcast fandom. We're both big fans of lots of other great VGM podcasts, and if we mention them on the show, you should really check them out! No time stamps for the fan-picks-lightning-round. We don't want to spoil the surprises! We hope you enjoy the show. If you have any comments, questions, or requests, please send them to verygoodmusicvgm@gmail.com, or leave a comment below! Will they, won't they? How would motion controls work? What other quality of life improvements could Nintendo make? Can flying not suck in the remake? The time has come. The fate of Zelda, Groose, Impa, the Old Woman, all of Skyloft, all of the world now rests on Link's shoulders. Demise stands before us, but even he, with his careless disdain for human life, will not be able to stand against the combined might of the Triforce, the Master Sword, and Hylia's Chosen Hero. Sit down with your hosts, Shannon and Joe, as they play, discuss and theorize their way through Nintendo's Legend of Zelda video games in the timeline order noted in the Hyrule Historia. New episodes of Tandem Legends: a Legend of Zelda Podcast released every other week. More or less. http://www.tandemlegends.com/
The Imprisoned once again threatens the Sealed Temple. With the help of Groose and his new super weapon, The Groosenator, Link is able to seal the beast a second time. The Temple secure, Link ventures through the Gate of Time and finally comes face to face with Zelda. And she's got a lot to tell him.
Nothing says "return from hiatus" like two back-to-back podcast episodes! Blue Map and Beeb join me for a couple of rounds talking about the latest fighting games from Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 to Tekken 7, while also letting our frustrations fly with the lackluster performance from the recent releases from Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and Final Fantasy (Beeb's opinion, not mine). Also, E3 2017 is just a couple weeks away, so we also share our predictions with what to expect from this year's gamer christmas (the short version is we predict lots of games)!
