As I write this, Mercury is about thirty minutes from his station, and we are about to ride along for the messenger's third and final retrograde journey of 2025.Mercury's retrogrades always bring the potential for delays, cancellations, and communication mishaps, and, as the lovely Brandon mentions toward the end of the episode, shopping inefficiencies. (This is not the year for Black Friday deals unless you enjoy the returning-and-refunding merry-go-round.) But if we pay close attention, we can usually sense a deeper focus beneath the noise and chaos that swirl on the surface of Mercury's retrograde cycles. This time, the messenger's retrograde asks a pointed question: What's been left unfinished?Perfectly positioned to dialogue with Uranus and triangulate communication between Jupiter and Saturn, Mercury's retrograde plunges deep into strategy. We have six months to tie up loose ends in Taurus. Uranus has been working on innovating the Taurus part of our lives since 2018, and clarity strikes like lightning this month as we hone in on what still needs to be done. If this is progress we'd like to keep, it's time to take a look at how to seal it in, make it real, and make it lasting. In the Pisces part of our lives, Saturn has been building a bridge across murky waters, and this month Mercury helps Saturn solicit the support of Jupiter in Cancer to make the last three months of Saturn's building project count.I want to acknowledge once more what an incredible pleasure it is to talk with Brandon each month. Their insight is always rich and poetic, and if you are interested in learning more about their practice or booking a healing session, you can do that here.LIVE COMMUNITY SESSIONTheresa and I will be holding a live session tomorrow Monday, November 10th at 2PM Pacific. We'll be discussing the Mars+Mercury conjunction and sorting through Mercury's Retrograde. As always, this meeting is free and open to all. If you've been listening and hanging out on the sidelines, I highly encourage you to check out the warm and supportive community we've built here. I do my best to answer everyone's questions, and Theresa leads a group meditation. We meet on Zoom. With Love, Christina Get full access to Skies and Currents at skiesofgrace.substack.com/subscribe

Friday warms back up to 60 degrees, with rain likely Friday night.A little weather humor for you: Why do meteorologists always carry an umbrella? In the 1930s, the St. Louis sky was frequently darkened with coal smoke so dense that it could block out the sun for days at a time. Many cities in the country faced some form of this problem, but none of them solved it until 1941 — when St. Louis showed off its clear, blue skies. Journalist Bob Wyss, author of “Black Gold: The Rise, Reign and Fall of American Coal,” takes us inside St. Louis' fight against coal. Joining the talk is local historian Andrew Theising to share insight on the role of Raymond Tucker, who became a key opponent of coal in the years before he became the city's mayor. Theising is the author of the 2024 book, "Mid-Mod Mayor: How Raymond Tucker Shaped St. Louis."

The northwest winds will be gentle, blowing around 6 to 8 miles per hour - just enough to ruffle your autumn jacket!Speaking of jackets, here's a meteorological dad joke for you: Why did the cloud go to the tailor? Because it was feeling a little thread-bare! Get it? Cloud, thread-bare? Weather humor is my jam!Tonight, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies that will gradually clear, dropping temperatures to around 45 degrees Fahrenheit. That north wind will keep things cool at about 6 miles per hour. Now, let's talk about our Weather Playbook segment! Today, we're exploring the fascinating world of cloud formation. Clouds are basically nature's water vapor transportation system - like aerial highways for moisture. They form when warm air rises, cools down, and condenses around tiny particles. It's like a magical atmospheric dance party! Our three-day forecast looks pretty stellar for New York City. Sunday brings mostly sunny skies with a high near 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Monday stays sunny with temperatures around 53 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday continues the sunny trend with a high near 54 degrees Fahrenheit.A quick heads up - we've got a 30 percent chance of showers rolling in midweek, so keep those umbrellas handy!Hey, don't forget to subscribe to our podcast for daily weather wisdom! Nearly a year ago, mysterious drones of unknown origin began buzzing military bases and other sensitive sites, mostly in the eastern U.S. They swooped in out of nowhere, hovered and maneuvered over airfields, didn't try to hide their presence, and could not be tracked when they abruptly departed. Entire U.S. bases were shut down, including Langley and Wright-Patterson AFB. Similar incursions were reported at joint bases in the UK, where personnel deployed advanced anti-drone tech - with no effect. Now, several European countries are experiencing similarly troubling incursions. In recent weeks, mystery drones have caused fear and confusion in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium. Governments suspect the drones are being controlled by Russia, though there isn't a shred of evidence to prove that, and these drones cannot be tracked or brought down. In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Jeremy and George are joined by British journalist Chris Sharp, editor and founder of the Liberation Times, whose insightful coverage of the mystery drones over the past year is among the best in the world. Chris shares new information about the most recent incursions, has insight about attempts to track and disable the mystery drones, and speculates about why the drone invasions might be a measured response by earthly forces, payback for something that was initiated by NATO allies. Also in this episode, additional information about a gigantic black triangle spotted hovering over a runway at Eglin Air Force Base, as described by an eyewitness in a previous episode.
