He discusses some of the interesting subjects that The book contains in its 50 chapters. The underlining theme is the bold assertion the the hidden grammar of Protestantism is Satanism. In various ways in this discussion Dr. Jones attempts to prove his thesis. One aspect of this Satanism is what Dr. Jones assumes to be John Calvins heretical notion of total depravity. That man is basically evil even to the point of evil that the Church Fathers never taught. That discussion was not developed here. But what was developed was how Thomas Paine quotes Satan in Milton's poem: Paradise Lost. The American experiment in self government Dr. Jones points out get much of its foundation in Satan's speech for self-government. Satan says: "Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven" in Book 1 (line 263) of Paradise Lost. In the pamphlet wars between the American Patriots and the British of 1775 and 1776 John Fletcher defended John Wesley's harsh critique of the Patriots. Fletcher did indeed suggest that the patriots doctrines were the same as Satan as articulated in his speech in Paradise Lost. For example the Patriots declared that they were not to be subject to the King but rather the King should be subject to them. Likewise in all the Biblical relationships. Resíduo do cacau é transformado em matéria-prima de cosméticos. Durante a extração da amêndoa do cacau, usada como matéria-prima do chocolate, é obtido um líquido na prensagem manual da polpa do fruto cuja maior parte é descartada como resíduo agrícola. Uma fração muito pequena desse líquido, que tem sabor bastante adocicado e, por isso, é chamado de mel de cacau, é consumida como bebida em regiões como o sul da Bahia, maior produtora do fruto no país. Mas grande parte não é aproveitada. [...] Os resultados dos testes in vitro, feitos em modelo celular, indicaram que tanto o mel de cacau como os cosméticos contendo essa matéria-prima não causaram irritação cutânea. Além disso, promoveram a regeneração celular. Já foi comprovado cientificamente que os produtos são seguros e por isso podem ser comercializados como de grau 1. Os pesquisadores já entraram com o pedido de patente das formulações e, para lançá-las no mercado e iniciar as vendas mais rapidamente. Cemitério de roupas usadas no Deserto do Atacama. Roupas descartadas por Estados Unidos, Europa e Ásia são enviadas ao Chile para serem revendidas. No imenso deserto do Atacama – no norte do Chile – na altura da cidade de Iquique – situada cerca de 1.800 km da capital Santiago. Sapatos, camisetas, casacos, vestidos, gorros, trajes de banho e até luvas para neve formam uma surpreendente montanha. São peças inexplicavelmente abandonadas em pleno deserto. É roupa descartada pelos Estados Unidos, pela Europa e Ásia, enviada ao Chile para ser revendida. Das 59 mil toneladas importadas todos os anos, grande parte (algo como 40 mil toneladas) não é vendida - acaba no lixo. A maioria fica nas cercanias de Alto Hospicio, uma comunidade com altos níveis de pobreza e vulnerabilidade. [...] Este paraíso das compras abriga um imenso parque industrial onde operam mais de mil empresas que comercializam seus produtos isentos de impostos. Seu lugar estratégico no norte do Chile - a poucos quilômetros do porto do Iquique - transforma a área em um importante centro comercial para outros países latino-americanos como Argentina, Brasil, Peru e Bolívia. Neste local estão instaladas ao menos 50 importadoras que diariamente recebem dezenas de toneladas de peças de segunda mão que depois são distribuídas por todo o Chile para revenda. O negócio é imenso e completamente legal. De acordo com o Observatório de Complexidade Econômica (OEC), uma plataforma que registra diversas atividades econômicas pelo mundo, o Chile é o maior importador de roupa usada na América do Sul, recebendo 90% desse tipo de mercadoria na região. [...] A roupa usada vem em sacos e as pessoas fazem uma seleção dividida em primeira, segunda e terceira categoria. A primeira é das melhores peças, sem defeitos, sem manchas, impecáveis. A segunda pode ter peças sujas ou descosturadas. Na terceira há produtos mais deteriorados. Os empresários deste negócio dizem que as peças de terceira categoria são, sim, vendidas (e que são descartadas 1% de tudo o que é importado). Mas autoridades locais dizem que grande parte acaba em lixões clandestinos. Sabe-se que ao menos 60% [do que se importa] é resíduo ou descartável e é isso que forma os montes de lixo.
