We also talk about Bass fishing on Somerset Dam where Jo is competing this weekend in the final of the Kayak Fishing tournament. The Bass are so big in this Queensland impoundment that Jo believes the winning 2 fish bag limit will probably go over 6 kilos. The Bass have been trapped in the lower reaches of the rivers due to the lack of rain and the catch and release fishing has been spectacular.
