Chaos, crisis and collapse can feel like the new normal - but what if they're actually signs that an old, unsustainable civilisation is breaking down so a new one can emerge? In this conversation, Angela sits down with stem cell biologist and author Dr Bruce Lipton to explore why we are not victims of our genes or our past, but powerful creators whose subconscious programming shapes our health, relationships and reality. They get into how early childhood conditioning runs most of our behaviour, why stress and belief can be more influential than genetics when it comes to disease, and how epigenetics and energy psychology show we can rewrite our internal code. Bruce shares practical tools - from self-hypnosis to “super-learning” postures - to help you change limiting programmes, raise your vibration and experience more of what he calls “heaven on earth” now. Our bodies respond to the thoughts in our head. We make choices because of our thoughts. And if we have a scary thought, we feel fear. If our thoughts are angry in nature, we feel anger. If we have worrying thoughts, we feel stressed and anxious. If they are positive, we feel good and happy. We think reality effects our thoughts, but it is our thoughts that create our reality. Most of us simply have an untrained mind. Our mind is our master. The ego runs the show.In this podcast, I talk about how our higher self can take back the reins of our mind. I discuss how our egos took control in the first place and the sneaky tricks it uses to hold on to power. And I share some simple solutions for taming the mind so that it becomes our loyal, helpful companion instead of our moody, needy, and impulsive boss. Please enjoy other episodes where I share meditation techniques, tips and spiritual lessons from around the world for peaceful and stress-free living. Tony Robbins doesn't sugarcoat it. After four decades of transforming lives, he's seen the pattern that separates those who break through from those who stay stuck. It's not about wanting change badly enough. It's about training your brain to act when you say now, even when every fiber of your being resists. In this conversation, Tony opens up about how becoming a father changed his entire approach to impact, why he jumps into freezing water every single morning, and the science behind why most people's thoughts aren't actually their own. This episode cuts through the noise and gives you the exact framework Tony uses with world-class performers to create lasting transformation. If social media is stealing your peace of mind, it's time to take it back! Reducing social media use, or quitting social media altogether, will transform your life and lead to better mental health… and in this episode of the Let's Talk About Mental Health podcast I'm talking about why (including why phone addiction is harmful) as well as how to quit social media, or at least reduce screen time to healthier levels. We'll discuss how cutting back on social media changes your mood and helps your brain, and what's involved in deleting social media from your life (and yes, social media addiction is a thing and it's harmful). From understanding what's involved in a simple social media detox through to the attention traps behind social media platforms that are designed to turn you into profit, this is the episode that will help you take back control of your life from the algorithm so you can feel calmer and more in control. In this episode, I'm sharing what it really means to take care of your health when life looks different, how I'm preparing to shift from a season of flexibility into motherhood, and why your 24 hours don't have to look like hers to still be meaningful, productive, and healthy.Do you feel like your metabolism has slowed down? How a Harvard-Trained Dermatologist is Humanizing Medicine and Reclaiming Her Voice Outside the Exam Room In this episode, AJ Vaden sits down with Dr. Mina—a Harvard-trained dermatologist turned top podcaster and entrepreneur—to explore what happens when a physician decides to challenge the traditional norms of medicine. From confronting burnout and questioning her identity at 40, to launching The Skin Reel podcast and building a thriving personal brand, Dr. Mina shares how she's transforming patient education and rethinking the doctor-patient relationship. This isn't just about skin care. It's about taking control—of your brand, your message, and your future impact as a medical professional. Dr. Mina opens up about the outdated stigma physicians face around self-promotion, the importance of meeting patients where they already are (hello, YouTube and TikTok!), and why personal branding is not optional—especially in a broken healthcare system where trust is declining and misinformation is rising. If you're a doctor, health expert, or service-based entrepreneur wondering how to build a personal brand without selling out, this is your roadmap to doing it with integrity, influence, and purpose.
