Ahhh, the advent of spring. It arrives in fits and starts... a few warm days punctuated by brisk winds and unpredictable storms. In March, we pass the spring equinox and have a bright new season. The trees bud and blossom, and the natural world stirs and awakes. After the constriction and enclosure of winter, it's a time to stretch, breathe deep, and expand. The Ambient soundscapes of the season are brighter, bolder, larger, with a sense of possibility, even hope. The long winter is past, the joy of spring and the blissful days of summer are at hand. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, a journey in the vernal soundscape, on a program called EXPANSION. Music is by DAVID HELPLING & JON JENKINS, PATRICK O'HEARN, JOHN LYELL, ALPHA WAVE MOVEMENT, PHILLIP WILKERSON, HAR, and HAROLD BUDD. Jesus used the word happy. There is a true, solid, and healthy Biblical happiness that is the possible possession of the child of God.
A powerful message from Psalm 80 which addresses the question; have we gone too far as a country and as individuals, or can God “Turn Us Again”?
My existence is FROM Him so my existence must be FOR Him!
The true “Old Time Religion” is not based on the History of Western Christianity in the last 150 years, but rather on the actual teachings of the Word of God.
After the brilliant light and intensive energy of summer, the natural world cools and contracts. In the dimming days of autumn, we begin our descent into the dark months, and the music of the season becomes more somber. As the leaves wither and fall, we pass through a period marked by the letter "d": deflation...decomposition...decay. In music, it's the sound of desaturated timbres, darkening harmonies and descending progressions. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, we reflect the sound of the season on a program called DECOMPRESSION. Music is by PATRICK O'HEARN, MICHAEL DE SALEM, DAVID HELPLING & JON JENKINS, DAVID ARKENSTONE, GILES REAVES, and MOBY. [ view playlist ] [ view Flickr image gallery ] [ play 30 second MP3 promo ]

Dr. Jon Jenkins preached this sermon at our Spring Thaw Conference in 2019. This message is about the importance of the Sabbath in our New Testament Christian experience. In our technological age, we are accessible 24/7, It is a must that we rediscover the principle of the fourth commandment. We as Christian laborers should embrace the gift of the Sabbath and rest for God, with God, and in God. Enjoy!

Seemingly innocuous excuses carry a significant weight when offered as reason to not accept the offer of the King.
God is light, in Him is no darkness at all
Joy through Jesus is what makes our faith attractive to others and having joy is a choice.
Satisfaction, a great need of the human heart, can only be found in completion in Jesus.
Any conscientious Christian will be instructed, encouraged and challenged by this brief but powerful message!
Brother Jenkins is a well-known and well-traveled preacher. God has used him to build the churches that he has pastored. Saul being rejected as king was a trying time for Samuel. The lessons the prophet had to learn are good instruction for the people of God today!
God steps in when we recognize and confront our “could nots”.
A message which thoroughly compels us to be “Looking unto Jesus”!
In the very beginning of the creation of man, it was God's desire to bless.

Over the past 35 years New Age and instrumental ambient music has gained an ever larger and enthusiastic audience. Music that relaxes, soothes, and promotes healing can now be found everywhere, such as in therapeutic settings, yoga studios and meditation courses. Within this vast genre, there are pioneers with a particular type of sound, one that appeals to the deeper reaches of human emotions, dreams, and the vibrations of the natural world. The music of one such man, David Helpling, embraces all these qualities. In this show we will explore the influences that inspired David's musical career from his first album “Between Green and Blue”, released in 1996, to the release of the last album in a trilogy created with Jon Jenkins, in 2013. Join us for an immersion into the sound of dreaming… a conversation with David Helpling.More info on David Helpling: https://kindasound.org/David-Helpling.htmlMore info on Isaac George: https://kindasound.org/isaac-george.html

Listen to Chief Scientist Jim Green and a co-investigator on the Kepler and TESS missions, Jon Jenkins, discuss exoplanet-hunting and all the amazing discoveries Kepler has made.
