The tragedy at Waco became a rallying cry for the anti-government movement within America and the foundation for arguments surrounding gun rights and religious freedom. In this final episode of the Waco companion podcast, Tiller speaks again with Lee Hancock and then with Bob Ricks, the FBI's Assistant Special Agent in Charge, about the FBI's failed response to Waco, rampant conspiracy theories, government distrust, Waco's connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing a year later, and how the events of 30 years ago resonates through to the present day. Waco: American Apocalypse is streaming now on Netflix.
In the third episode of this special series, we explore the enduring emotional toll Waco had on those who were directly involved. Tiller speaks to Lee Hancock about the challenge of objectively reporting on Waco during those 51 days in 1993, and the lasting trauma the story has had on her life. Then Tiller interviews KWTX reporter John McLemore, the sole reporter who covered the ATF raid live - and whose life and career were upended by it. And finally we hear from David Thibodeau, perhaps the most well-known Branch Davidian alive today. Waco: American Apocalypse is streaming now on Netflix.
On this week's episode, we're bringing you the first in a four part special companion to the Netflix documentary series, Waco: American Apocalypse. Director Tiller Russell and reporter Lee Hancock discuss the inspiration behind the series and then paint a complex portrait of cult leader David Koresh – the controversial figure at the center of the story – and how he was able to convince over 100 people (and perhaps himself) that he was a living prophet. Featuring interviews with FBI Agent Bob Ricks, Hostage Rescue Team Sniper Chris Whitcomb, Branch Davidian Kathy Schroeder, and Heather Jones, the last child to make it out of the compound alive. Waco: American Apocalypse is out now on Netflix.
Bonus Series! This is Episode One of the companion podcast series for Tiller's new Netflix series, Waco: American Apocalypse. Waco: American Apocalypse is a deep dive into the Netflix documentary series, exploring topics and interviews that didn't make the final cut. In Episode One, director Tiller Russell and reporter Lee Hancock paint a complex portrait of cult leader David Koresh – the controversial figure at the center of the story – and discuss how he convinced over 100 people (and perhaps himself) that he was a living prophet. Featuring excerpts from interviews with FBI Agent Bob Ricks, Hostage Rescue Team Sniper Chris Whitcomb, Branch Davidian Kathy Schroeder, and Heather Jones, the last child to make it out of the compound alive.

Hello and welcome to the Get More Customers podcast with me Michael Angrave. I’ve got a very important episode today as I’m joined by Cara de Faye, who is the fiancé of Go Websites co-founder, Lee Hancock. For those of you listening who know Lee, you’re probably aware of the devastating ordeal which he’s faced over the past few years since being diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in 2017. The past three years have seen an emotional roller coaster of events as you’ll hear. Lee has had the support of some incredible people from his friends and family right through to the surgeons and medical team that have pushed boundaries in their treatments, but none more so than Cara. She's been working tirelessly to do everything in her power to create opportunities to help Lee in his current situation, and this latest breakthrough has the potential to be life-changing not just for Lee but also possibly for millions of others who are currently facing or may face the same situation in years to come. It’s an emotional episode and Cara does an incredible job of sharing hers and Lee’s story. It’s very clear to see Cara's strength and understand how her ambition and commitment are making incredible headways in this field of research which until now had been halted due to lack of funding. Later on in the episode, we discuss the ways that people can help and share some of the awesome things that people are doing to help out. We even come up with some ideas for how to use proven marketing principles to further help the fundraising efforts. As you're listening to this, if there’s any way you can support Lee and Cara, it would be massively appreciated. Please make donations or even share this podcast or page with people that you know, the more people who get behind this the faster great things can be achieved. Here’s Cara to tell you more... www.gowebsites.co.uk

Hello and welcome to the Get More Customers podcast with me Michael Angrave. I’ve got a real treat in store today as I’m joined by fellow Go Websites co-founder and all-round legend, Lee Hancock. I’m so excited to be sharing this episode as it’s something that we’ve talked about doing for a while and for various reasons, we’ve not been able to. As you’ll soon hear, Lee has a genuine passion for helping small businesses to get more customers from the web and one of his specialities is understanding how to get websites to rank highly in search engines such as Google. Everything we’ve been able to achieve for our customers and ourselves when it comes to search engine optimisation (or SEO) has ultimately come from Lee’s systems and ideas. For the very first time on the show, we’ve got the opportunity to tap into some of that knowledge so that you can benefit even during times when other areas of your marketing might have been cut back. You’ll discover the 3-step system which can be used by anybody (regardless of technical ability) and can be applied to any business which attracts customers from Google. We also look at some really cool ways that you can turn any helpful or generous things that your business might be doing during the Coronavirus, into tangible SEO benefit. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Here’s Lee to tell you more... www.gowebsites.co.uk

2018 marks the 25-year anniversary of a 51-day siege that ended in tragedy, following a shootout between the U.S. government and members of a sect called the Branch Davidians. The gunfire exchange lasted for well over an hour, killing four U.S. agents and six Branch Davidians, and wounding their leader Vernon Howell, also known as David Koresh. Yet this violence was just the beginning of an ordeal that would culminate in an inferno later to become known as the Waco Massacre.CW: references to manipulative behaviours, suicide, murder, and physical abuse and sexual assault, including of minors.
