We watch "Sleep No More" (Series 9, Episode 9) where the Doctor and Clara encounter evil 38th century eye-boogers. Whilst said eye-booger encountering was occurring, it turns out the entire episode was likely fraudulent found footage. Or it wasn't. Darn you writer Mark Gattis... you're supposed to be Sherlock Holmes' smarter brother... why did you write yet another unloved Who episode?!?
Oh, BBC Sherlock. Once the standout darling of Sherlock Adaptations, time has not treated you well. Coming in at 16th place is Season 1 of the show. Decades of various Sherlock Holmes adaptations have tried to reinvent Doyle’s wheel in so many ways, and in 2012, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss managed to coax the BBC into one enormous stab at bringing the famous crime-solving icon into the modern day. Whilst the initial response was favourable, going back to watch the series these days really leaves you questioning what the hype was about.

In Part Two of our episode: we re-enter the universe of the Ice Warriors, as writer Mark Gattis delivers a daring and significant chapter into the history of the species in Doctor Who.
Goodbye England, and hello New York! Long Island, to be precise, the home of Long Island Who and the setting of this episode of Radio Free Skaro. Steven, Warren, and Chris took in “Sleep No More,” Mark Gattis’s found footage exploration of sleep deprivation and eye gunk, and then leapt to the stage in front of a live audience to give ill informed opinions and generally ponce about! (Note: there is a slight buzz for the first six minutes of the recording, but it disappears after that.) Check out the show notes at http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
Please join Marc Atkinson, Bob Fleming, Craig Stimson and special guest Jim Cameron (from the KRYNOID PODCAST) for episode 21 of PROGTOR WHO: Where WHO and PROG collide... In this episode the guys talk about AN ADVENTURE IN SPACE & TIME, the 2013 Mark Gattis scripted 'docu-drama' depicting the origins of our favourite show... We also play 3 great songs from MARILLION, STEVE WILSON and SNOWY WHITE.... Bob learns two new words, Marc reads out 'The Bits Bob's Banned From Doing' (ie; our listeners comments), Jim brings a certain 'sophistication' to proceedings and Craig stuns us all in to silence with just one word... :) Hope you enjoy... Please leave us some feedback :)
