Et oui, chaque invitée nous partage son histoire mais toujours sous le prisme du désir ou non d'enfant. En préparant l'épisode je me suis dis qu"au final nous nous sommes jamais encore penché sur le mot désir. Le désir, au sens étymologique, évoque un astre disparu, la nostalgie d'une étoile (du latin desiderare, « regretter » et sidus, « l'étoile »). Donc, en reprenant sa définition on comprend que le désir d'enfant nait de ce sentiment de manque d'enfant. Manque qui nous donnerait envie d'avoir un enfant. Mon invitée, melissandre varin, nous explique qu'au début de sa vie de femme elle n'a pas eu ce désir d'enfant puis qu'ensuite de part son histoire personnelle que vous allez découvrir elle a eu un manque immense d'enfant. En d'autre termes son désir à évolué. Au final, en reprenant l'éthymologie on comprends mieux pourquoi le désir peut évoluer d'une femme à l'autre mais aussi tout au long de la vie d'une femme. Je remercie Melissandre qui nous a parlé de son désir d'enfant fluctuant, de son choix de co-parentalité et aussi de la maternité queer. Mari and Melissande face each other at the "domo" of Trepagny, and Melissande asserts her authority. When Trepagny arrives home, he sides with Melissandre-- which ultimately leads to Mari's decision to move out with her son. In Wobik, Mathilde confronts Cooke and lets him know that she has Renardette in her custody. Mathilde begs Cooke to do no harm to the young girl, but can we really trust Cooke's promises? We also learn that Delphine's would-be husband broke things off with her because of the "woodcutter's mark" on her stomach. Delphine discusses this with Melissandre... who tells Delphine about her own secret in order to help Delphine get past what's happened to her. Later, Trepagny, Bouchard, and a group of men search for Rene and Father Gabriel, and they discover the two with a group of Iroquois. Chaos ensues, and most of the party end up dead. Trepagny, Bouchard, and Rene flee and end up heading back to Wobik... where, unbeknownst to Trepagny, Melissandre is staying at the inn. On episodes three and four of Barksins season one, Trepagny has decided he will find his wife through the fille du roi program. He arrives at the dance, where the eligible young women are waiting. Melissandre notices him, and she seduces Trepagny before walking away and leaving him with anticipation. In episode four, they are wed and arrive at his property-- only for Melissandre to discover that he's got a "maid." What will happen once Melissandre discovers he has a child with this woman? Back in town, Mathilde reveals Cooke's involvement in the murder of the settlers. She speaks of this to the captain, and he in turn confronts Cooke in the town square, leaving Cooke in the center. Duquet, who has gone to "kill" Thom, returns to wait by Cooke's side. Meanwhile, Sels has been captured by the Iroquois after they shot him with an arrow. Will Mari be able to step in and save him? Or is Sels done? Some high highs and low lows, geographically speaking, this week in Game of Thrones as Kate and Dan find themselves hiding out in a bunch of caves, but also climbing to the top of The Wall. Elsewhere Stannis grinds his teeth, Robb gets soaked, and all of your favorite couples take baths. All that plus the return of the perma-soggy Freys and Melissandre employing her Gen-dar to somehow locate the Brotherhood's secret hideout.

Battle of the Bastards pulled no punches, delivering possibly the best battle sequence in Game of Thrones so far. The GameSpot of Thrones gang struggle to contain their hype. Beware: book and show spoilers within!

Game of Thrones is on a roll. In this weeks episode, "Book of The Stranger" we see our beloved Dany bring the Dothraki army to their knees. She was amazing, and we can't wait to see whats next in her goal to conquer. On the other side of the world, we see another woman conquering things in her own way, in Brienne, who lets Melissandre know that she has not forgot how she killed her king. Theon makes it home, just in time for his sister to make him fill even worse than he already does. We are not sure what to make of Cersei, and the dealings going on at Kings Landing, but we look forward to whatever is coming ahead. Finally we see Sansa and one of her siblings reunite, and it was awesome. We will be back Sunday evening with our instant cast. After nearly a year of waiting, Game of Thrones has returned to kick off season 6 with a nice bit of set up and a couple of surprising twists in The Red Woman. This week's episode of Game of Thrones was season 5's most action-packed installment yet, thanks to the rise of the Faith Militant and the growing threat of the Sons of the Harpy. Joining us in our in-depth discussion of the events that took place is We Got This Covered writer Sam Woolf, who has some of his own interesting theories and reactions to this week's shocking cliffhanger. In case you missed it, “Sons of the Harpy” ramped up the events in King's Landing when Cersei decided to arm the Faith Militant and name the High Sparrow the High Septon of the realm. She taunted Margery by having the Sparrows arrest Loras Tyrell for crimes against the gods and left the newly crowned King Tommen to pick up the pieces. While all hell broke loose in the capital, Jamie and Bronn landed in Dorne and continued their suicide rescue mission for Princess Myrcella. The Dornish storyline also brought us our first look at Oberyn's bastards, known as the Sand Snakes, and we try to decide if they live up to his legend. In northern Westeros, Jon Snow survived Melissandre's first seduction attempt while Stannis finally revealed the softer side of his hardened heart. He continues to be one of the most controversial characters on the show and we weigh in on the merit of his methods, intentions and recently discovered love for his daughter. Finally, we round out this week's exciting discussion by talking about the climactic skirmish between Greyworm, Barristan Selmy and a band of harpies that had us clamoring for more.
