Seit mehr als zehn Jahren erarbeiten sich die norddeutschen NAILED TO OBSCURITY durch ihren Stil zwischen Melodic Death Metal, Doom und progressiven Einflüssen einen stetig wachsenden Namen durch eben jene Herangehensweise. Mit ihrem Underground-Debüt »Abyss…« setzten sie bereits ein erstes Ausrufezeichen, vor allem waren es aber ihre Alben »Opaque« (2013) und das letztjährige »King Delusion«, die sie große Schritte haben machen lassen. Ihre melancholischen Songs, die nie die nötige Härte vermissen lassen, schaffen stets eine eigene Dynamik, die Hörer unmittelbar in ihren Bann zieht und sie dort jeden Ton und jede Zeile durchleben lässt.
