Having formed influential bands such as Crown of Thornz during a pivotal era of New York Hardcore, Ezec naturally blended his graffiti background into the music he made; famously using a Cap One quote to introduce the album "Train Yard Blues", an album whose street-graffiti influence is strongly present throughout the record. His music would touch on the multi-faceted style of his life: speaking on emotions, inner-city living and life's problems. Diablo later expanded into hip-hop and crossover styles. Throughout the years, he has remained an active performer and cultural figure, bridging multiple scenes organically.

Se decía que en el bosque de las sombras había un tesoro oculto que nadie había podido obtener. El tesoro , según las leyendas, estaba custodiado por el mismo Diablo. Pero Rodrigo se consideraba así mismo  valiente, sagaz e inteligente.  Antes de partir, Rodrigo se cruzó con un anciano harapiento en la plaza misma de su pueblo. El viejo, con ojos que parecían haber visto siglos, le dijo al verlo pasar. —Muchacho. Si buscas el tesoro, escucha mi consejo: no todo lo que brilla es oro, y no todo lo oscuro es peligroso.Rodrigo, altivo, respondió:—Viejo, yo no temo ni a hombres ni a demonios. Mi espada y mi fe  me bastan. Así que bien puedes ahorrarte tus palabras. El anciano sonrió con una calma inquietante y vio como el muchacho continuo su camino sin ningún gesto de cortesía hacia el. .Rodrigo siguió el camino del bosque y al llegar a el se interno con la espada en su mano.. Tras horas de caminar en la semi oscuridad que el bosque ofrecía, llegó a una encrucijada: Frente a el había un sendero iluminado y otro cubierto de niebla. Después de mirar ambos caminos por algunos minutos y olvidando el consejo de aquel viejo en el pueblo, Rodrigo Eligió el camino soleado, donde halló un cofre dorado resplandeciente y otro de madera rustica casi a punto de desbaratarse. Encantado por la apariencia de aquel cofre brillante de color del sol, decidio abrilo. De pronto del cobre salieron lenguas de fuego que lo alcanzaron y lo lanzaron al suelo. Después de algunos minutos se pudo incorporar y vio como el otro cofre había desaparecido y como detrás de el cofre dorado en llamas surgía una figura imponente: cuernos, alas negras y ojos rojos como brasas. Era un demonio del infierno.—¿Creíste que sería fácil, muchacho? —rugió la criatura—. Este bosque es mío, y todo lo que brilla es mi engaño.Rodrigo, herido pero desafiante, levantó su espada y grito. —¡Lucharé contra ti!El demono rió con un eco que hizo temblar los árboles.—No necesito pelear. Solo esperar. Los hombres como tú siempre caen por su orgullo y soberbia.En ese momento, desde el camino que Rodrigo había recorrido apareció el viejo que le había advertido en el pueblo. Rodrigo, atónito, vio cómo el demonio se inclinaba ante él.—Mi señor —dijo el demonio con voz sumisa.El viejo miró a Rodrigo y habló con serenidad:—Te lo advertí, joven. Te di la oportunidad de alcanzar grandes tesoros si me hubieras hecho caso en la plaza. El verdadero poder no está en la fuerza, sino en la experiencia. El anciano se transformó en una figura aún más oscura aun, con alas que cubrían el cielo. Rodrigo comprendió que había estado hablando con el verdadero amo del bosque: el viejo Diablo había jugado con su soberbia desde el principio en la plaza del pueblo.Con una sonrisa cruel, el anciano-Diablo susurró: Muchacho recuerda que más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo y ahora tu ambición y soberbia serán mi tesoro Y el bosque se cerró sobre Rodrigo, convirtiéndolo en una sombra más entre los árboles.Y dicen los saben que aquellos que se aventuran a caminar por el bosque de las sombras todavía hoy escuchan el lamentar de un joven caballero que repite sin cesar. Más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo.

Episode 113 Katherine 'Kat' Hammontre   April, 2019 was a tough month for 68 year old Katherine 'Kat' Hammontre. She had battled liver Cancer, but eventually decided not to seek treatment for it, and to face what came on her own terms. She was looking forward to her one year anniversary with her husband Warren Sundquist and enjoying the life she was living in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, where she had moved to in the late 1990s. On April 11, Kat along with her husband, and a group of hikers decided to explore the beautiful area of Cañón del Diablo, or Devils Canyon in the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park, near San Felipe in Baja California. Warren and another man stayed down near the entrance to the trail, while Kat and the other hikers made their way up to see the waterfalls. That day, Kat had brought along her dog; Tootsie. On her way up the trail, Kat, who had injured her foot not long before the outing, stopped to rest on her own with Tootsie while the other hikers finished their climb. She planned to meet the group when they came back down. Later, when the group came back down, there was no sign of Kat or Tootsie. When the group made it down to Warren, he was shocked to find his wife was missing. Extensive searches of the area turned up no signs of Kat or Tootsie, and today, she remains missing. Kat's daughter Desiree, who is our guest in this episode, made her way to the area to join the efforts in finding her mom. Matt reveals what it was really like working under Jack Tramiel, converting GEM for the Atari ST in record time, and why developers had to sell snacks from their desks just to survive. He then takes us into the golden years at Epyx, creating World Games and the smash hit California Games, before moving on to 3DO, where a secret project he managed ended up helping fund Diablo.
