Oh, was liegt denn da rum? Lösung: A ist richtig.

“Dude, you know you can donate plasm…” Because of the obvious “Halloween tingle” wafting through the Bunkerpoon, we decided to finish out “the month of Halloween” with a rrrrrevisitation of the grrrrreen tinted, goth infused, Sabbath inspired doom metal druids hailing from Brooklyn, New York known as TYPE-O-NEGATIVE.    To be fair, “technically” we have already done an INSIDE THE METAL featuring TYPE-O, but that's been (approximately) 3 years and 10 days ago, and A LOT has changed since then, not only with regard to the world at large but also with the quality of this podcast as well. Having said that, we felt that discussing more TYPE-O-NEGATIVE made perfect sense, as their catalog (and our podcast) is all about “thickness and girth.”   HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!!!  It's time to put on your “platfoam shoes” and get ready to r-r-r-r-r-roll your R's while trick or treating with “Tom Johnson” during our “pre-Chronicles Chronicles” Halloween event in the Bunkerpoon Dungeon. Remember that “Summer's Eve” is not the same as “Summer Breeze”, discover the proper way to prepare “a handheld” and JOIN US via the “Interdimensional Bunkerpoon Portal” as we go (BACK) INSIDE THE METAL (AGAIN) with TYPE-O-NEGATIVE.   Visit www.metalnerdery.com/podcast for more on this episode   Help Support Metal Nerdery https://www.patreon.com/metalnerderypodcast Leave us a Voicemail to be played on a future episode: 980-666-8182   Metal Nerdery Tees and Hoodies – metalnerdery.com/merch and kindly leave us a review and/or rating on the iTunes/Apple Podcasts - Spotify or your favorite Podcast app Listen on iTunes, Spotify, Podbean, or wherever you get your Podcasts. Two branded individuals, crossing paths at 48° 0′ N, 8° 0′ O, merging into a project of an extraordinary sound, produced and shared for the people, who need it.   „Flowers on Monday“ is an unexpected gesture or a hug from a stranger - our small gift, when you're going through a rough time. Pop music is as quintessential to the summer as warm breezes, lazy afternoons, and margaritas by the pool. And for decades, musical artists have been inspired by the season to create memorable, catchy songs that have, in turn, become required listening every time the warmer months roll around. So for one of our 2024 Summer Specials, the Great Pop Culture Debate wants to feel the heat as we name the Best "Summer" Song. Songs discussed include “Cruel Summer” by Bananarama; “Summer in the City” by The Lovin' Spoonful; “Cool for the Summer” by Demi Lovato; “Summer Breeze” by Seals & Crofts; “California Gurls” by Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg; “Summer of ‘69” by Bryan Adams; “The Boys of Summer” by Don Henley; “Sailing” by Christopher Cross; “Come Sail Away” by Styx; “Summer Lovin'” from Grease; “Under the Boardwalk” by The Drifters; “I Get Around” by The Beach Boys; and more! Join host Eric Rezsnyak, GPCD panelists Derek Mekita and Kate Racculia, and special guest Ashleigh Stiles from Wizard Radio as they discuss 16 of the most popular songs associated with the summer. Moment! School's out for summer! The time has come for hot sun. Hot sun and basking. Hot sun and basking, and listening to crickets. And just sitting, amongst the crickets taking it all in.  This sound scene is of the landscape around Arley station in Shropshire. Under high trees in full leaf. Golden fields as far as the eye can see, glowing in the afternoon sun. Farmland gold. And farmland birds. Bobbing crows. Wood pigeons. And a buzzard. Distant farm machinery working the land.  Distant children playing beyond the station. Distant echoes, that roll across the horizon from a departed steam train that can be heard in episode 187. Down the field there's a man working. Hammer and nails. Knock knock knock. From post to post he goes. Slowly repairing the fence that runs between the hedgerow and the railway line. Knock knock knock. And a rest. And a glance up, at the circling buzzard. No rush. It's hot. There's all the time in the world for this.

They were the pop stars that changed everything for the Hit Factory — and in this episode we discuss pivotal singles for Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue. In Jason's case, his remake of "Happy Together" was his final single with PWL, as he made the leap to musical theatre and a new record label. The cover version was also the first Stock and Waterman production, with Matt Aitken now out of the picture. Jason joins us for one last time to discuss the parting of ways with PWL, his third studio album, All Around The World, and how his career has developed until the present day. As for Kylie, she kicked off her fourth studio album with new jack swing single "Word Is Out" and its controversial music video. Terry Blamey, Mike Stock, Julian Gingell and Pete Day all share their memories of the Let's Get To It era of Kylie's career, while remixer Tony King talks about his Summer Breeze remix, which was released as the official single version in Australia.Support the Show.Subscribe for bonus material at chartbeats.com.au/sawTwitter: @ChartBeatsAU, @MrMattDenbyInstagram: @chartbeatsauFacebook: Chart Beats: A Journey Through PopEmail: chartbeats.au@gmail.com

Formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 1989, by the enigmatic and charismatic Peter Steele (vocals, bass), along with Josh Silver (keyboards), Kenny Hickey (guitar), and Sal Abruscato (drums), Type O Negative emerged as a groundbreaking force in the world of dark and subversive metal.Type O Negative's music defies easy categorization, blending elements of gothic, doom, and industrial metal with a healthy dose of black humor. Their sound is a sonic tapestry of haunting melodies, crushing riffs, and deep, baritone vocals—Peter Steele's signature voice being one of the most recognizable and distinctive in the metal world. The band's debut album, "Slow, Deep and Hard," released in 1991, set the stage for their unique brand of metal. Songs like "Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity" and "Xero Tolerance" explored themes of heartbreak, nihilism, and misanthropy, with a heavy dose of sarcasm. The album was an unapologetic foray into the darkest corners of the human psyche, setting a precedent for the band's future work.Type O Negative's sophomore release, "Bloody Kisses" (1993), catapulted them to international acclaim. This album is often considered their magnum opus, blending elements of gothic romance with gloomy atmospheres. The hit single "Black No. 1 (Little Miss Scare-All)" became an anthem, capturing the hearts of goth and metal fans alike. With tracks like "Christian Woman" and "Too Late: Frozen," the album showcased Type O Negative's ability to craft both heavy and melodic songs. One of the band's defining features was their sense of humor and subversive approach to their music and image. Peter Steele's witty and often self-deprecating lyrics provided a stark contrast to the brooding music, making Type O Negative a band that could be simultaneously dark and tongue-in-cheek. Their cover of Seals and Crofts' "Summer Breeze" on "Bloody Kisses" became a beloved fan favorite, showcasing their ability to infuse humor into unexpected places. In 1996, they released "October Rust," an album that further solidified their status as pioneers of dark metal. This record featured tracks like "Love You to Death" and "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend," showcasing their versatility in creating music that ranged from melancholic ballads to raucous anthems.Tragedy struck in 2010 when Peter Steele passed away, leaving a void in the music world that could never be filled. The loss of such a singular talent was deeply felt by fans and fellow musicians alike. His towering presence and darkly charismatic persona were central to Type O Negative's identity.Type O Negative'This episode is sponsored by www.betterhelp.com/TheBarn and presented to you by The Barn Media Group.

We are joined by founder and frontman of the band, Hauptmann Feuerschwanz to talk about the band's 11th studio album “Fegefeuer.” Nearly 2 decades of insane battlecry-filled up-tempo tunes, and taking the biggest stage performing at Wacken and Summer Breeze, this new chapter for Feuerschwanz is getting set to be their biggest yet. We also talk to Hauptmann about working with prominent music artist, Fabienne Erni from folk-metal mainstays Eluveitie, and how having her being a part of this new album expanded the musicality of Feuerschwanz. The band has been through countless journeys, and yet, the passion seems to always be at the highest level. A very fun and in-depth interview to tune into! Grab your sword and shield, and be sure to buy and stream “Fegefeuer,” the new album, out now worldwide via Napalm Records.Stay connected with Feuerschwanz, visit: https://feuerschwanz.de/, https://www.instagram.com/feuerschwanzband/ and https://www.facebook.com/feuerschwanz/Stay connected with IUF, visit: https://interviewunderfire.com/

3 - Rich kicks off yet another exciting live show from the Grand Hotel of Cape May with jokes about who's getting indicted (hint: it's not Jimmy Hoffa). Are wind turbines along the coast going to cause national security issues? If it does, the Democrats simply do not care. It's all about the greenbacks. 330 - Scott Coffina is our first guest off the board today as he joins us to discuss the Hunter Biden plea agreement falling apart. Scott explains how the judge saw the writing on the wall with the immunity tucked into Hunter's gun charge and decided to let Congress continue to investigate his case. 350 - Putting a bow on the Hunter Biden situation and Rich gives his astute prediction on what's to come for the Bidens. 4 - Victoria Coates joins us once again and debuts her new title! How are we feeling about the Phillies after their big series win over the Orioles? Why did top scientists in the US downplay the lab leak theory? They then move to discuss the UFO hearings and the compromised state of the Biden's coinciding to create a national security issue. Is Son of Sam a bigger whack job than Hannibal Lecter? What about the Bidens or the Clintons? Same difference. Heritage hosted a screening of Sound of Freedom, but has Dr. Coates seen Oppenheimer? How does nuclear weapon capabilities affect US foreign policy? Victoria details how Iran may join the nuclear states and that just may be the tip of the iceberg.  420 - Let's see the mullet! How is Matt DeSanctitratorous doing in Italy?  430 - What would be a good job for Hunter now that a judge has ordered him to get a job? Gen-Z women are now using make-up to make themselves unapproachable to men, but is it really working? 440 - Today, young women came out during a Congressional hearing to detest trans women competing in women's sports, as well as detransitioners speaking out against the medical community and their gender-affirming care. Her message before the committee is profound and very powerful. 4:55 - The Matt DeSantis Oppenheimer Watch Party Kit is here with all his issues watching the blockbuster. At least I feel a sense of control. 5 - Drive @ 5 - Representative Greg Casar is a hero for going an almost 9 hour thirst strike, nobody's ever gone that long without food or water. 510 - Dr. Wilfred Reilly joins us for his weekly segment. We start off with the continued bashing of Greg Casar for his lame dramatic gesture, and he ties it into how other mundane stories are overblown with the same logic like Don't Say Gay. The demand for racism in America far exceeds the supply. There is mass hysteria over racial tensions that are simply just fabricated to drum up a voting base. Nobody is trying to ban book titles, they are trying to keep explicitly sexual content out of school libraries. Why is there debate around the way slavery is taught, even though Florida and AP teach the same exact verbiage? Barbie or Oppenheimer? Why do we build heroes up just to tear them down at earliest convenience?  530 -  Jimmy Failla is here, girlfriend! Why are those White House dogs biting people? Jimmy and Rich know the reason why and want to write the movie script. Jimmy breaks down what has transpired on the Bidens and how it'll affect the presidential race next year. Jimmy thinks Hunter's job should be something in front of the camera, and his father cured cancer! He goes in on Hunter and his idiocy and unwillingness to embrace the bad boy role. 550 - Rich is making his first public appearance since he had his surgery so he goes into detail about his state. He also fights his neighbor's landscapers.  6 - The fourth and final hour. Censorship is a very big deal and Facebook suppressing COVID information at the request of the Biden White House. Does The White House have a sense of humor? Opposing studies from researchers in other countries were suppressed at the drop of a hat for the Big Guy.  630 -  John Yoo, Emanuel S. Heller Professor of Law, joins our program yet again to bring his brilliant insight on the Hunter Biden legal situation. John sounds the alarm on this case as it too many weird occurrences have taken place thus far. John also discusses how Trump will be indicted for January 6th. BREAKING: Trump charged with more indictments over the classified documents case.  650 - Summer Breeze makes me feel fine. We finish where we start with the wind turbine issue here at the Jersey Shore. Rich teaches a history lesson.

„QUOI? PARDON? OUI, C‘EST SEHR LECKER! MAIS AUSSI TRÈS CHER! TEUER! YES! ET TRÈS BRUYANT ICI! ZU LAUT! WAS? TIKTOK? Es bleibt also Baywatch Berlin.
