Det sker sjældent, at Bilradios eksperter udsteder en direkte advarsel mod at købe en ny Toyota. Men med den elektriske Urban Cruiser har japanerne lavet en brøler. Bilen er i virkeligheden en Suzuki under overfladen, og det mærkes. På motorvejen suger det firkantede design strømmen ud af batteriet i et tempo, så rækkevidden falder markant. Kombineret med en ladehastighed, der snegler sig afsted, bliver langture et mareridt af korte etaper og evighedslange pauser ved ladestanderen. Den bil er chanceløs i dagens Danmark. Stan Rougier, depuis l'Ascension 2021, nous accompagne chaque année dans la célébration de cette fête religieuse qui marque le retour du Christ vers le Père. Cette année, alors qu'il va fêter dans un mois son 96ème anniversaire, c'est une grande joie de retrouver cet homme qui ne cesse de monter vers le Ciel depuis près d'un siècle…L'an passé, nous avions quitté un homme un peu plus fatigué et inquiet pour le monde autant que pour sa santé. Il ne cachait pas sa crainte que cette rencontre de mai 2025 fut la dernière. Quelques mois plus tard, en collaboration avec Béatrice Guibert qui accompagne ses travaux depuis de longues années, Stan Rougier étonne à nouveau en publiant un nouveau livre au titre magnifique : Entends-tu battre le cœur des autres ?Dans sa jolie maison du sud parisien, nous nous sommes rencontrés, à trois jours seulement de la fête de l'Ascension 2026. Pendant des minutes délicieuses, nous avons échangé sur l'appel auquel Stan Rougier a répondu pour écrire un vrai plaidoyer pour la fraternité humaine.Certes, nous vivons des temps étranges, dans un « monde bousculé par les convulsions de haine et de violence ». Pour Stan Rougier, il n'en est que plus urgent de proclamer, une nouvelle fois, que l'avenir est à la tendresse. Et d'énumérer tant de faits, connus ou inconnus, qui révèlent l'immense bonté en chacun et chacune de nous.« Appartenir à la communauté humaine recèle bien des surprises », confie Stan Rougier. Son appel à la fraternité est un rappel au respect mutuel, à l'accepter de nos différence, à la solidarité, et à l'ouverture.Il est grand temps « d'élargir l'espace de notre tente », nous dit-il. En convoquant toutes les grandes spiritualités, grâce aux « mystiques qui parlent la même langue parce qu'ils habitent le même pays », en énumérant les qualités profondes des grandes religions, Stan Rougier s'émerveille de sa foi en Dieu, particulièrement celui des Chrétiens, qui est un Dieu d'amour et de compassion.Il est temps aussi d'écouter battre le coeur des autres, ceux qui sont loin de nous, et peut-être encore plus ceux qui sont proches de nous, avec qui il est parfois plus difficile, en fait, de s'entendre. Renouvelée chaque année depuis 2021, cette rencontre marque pour moi un des temps forts de l'année.Lorsque je le quitte, à la fin de chaque enregistrement, je me pose la question si j'aurai la joie de le retrouver l'année suivante. Comme avant-hier, lorsque je l'ai salué une dernière fois, après m'être penché vers lui jusqu'à toucher son front du mien, comme à chaque fois.Les rencontres avec Stan Rougier sont remplies de lumière et de tendresse. Avec elles, il y a aussi la fragilité, l'incertitude même que nous parvenions à mener un entretien en raison de son grand-âge. Celle-ci me gagne toujours alors que se réduisent les kilomètres qui me rapprochent de lui. Aura-t-il oubllé notre rendez-vous ? Aura-t-il suffisamment d'énergie pour répondre à mes questions ?J'avais les mêmes incertitudes lors de mes deux dernières rencontres avec Annick de Souzenelle. À la différence de Stan Rougier qui se rapproche tout près du centenaire, Annick l'avait déjà franchi. Avec elle aussi, même si celle-ci ne se disait pas forcément dans nos micros, je garde les souvenirs de rencontres remplies de lumière et de tendresse.C'est avec émotion que je diffuse aujourd'hui l'épisode avec un homme dont la longue vie est une magnifique ascension vers le Ciel. Avec étonnement, je l'ai entendu parler de son émerveillement ébloui face à la beauté d'un amour divin qu'il trouve de plus en plus beau.En même temps, Stan Rougier nous parle d'un amour infiniment concret. C'est là la simplicité, l'humilité presque d'un amour divin qui est aux devants de tous les instants de nos vies.C'est un amour qui nous accompagne, nous renforce et nous soutient tout le temps. C'est en lui que je confie les fatigues et les attentes du moment. Ces derniers jours, entre la Dordogne, la Région puis la Banlieue Parisienne, l'Anjou et le cœur de la Bretagne, j'enchaîne les voyages à la rencontre des Hommes et des Femmes qui ont répondu à mes invitations.Je me sens porté par tant de messages, d'échanges de plus en plus nombreux, merveilleux et enrichissants, avec tant d'entre vous. Der bZ4X Touring ist ideal für Familien sowie für alle, die den Sprung ins Outdoor-Abenteuer lieben. In Deutschland bietet Toyota ab Mitte 2026 somit insgesamt zehn vollelektrische Modelle an: Unter anderem auch die Modelle Urban Cruiser, C-HR+. Der bZ4X Touring baut auf der langjährigen Erfahrung von Toyota im SUV-Segment auf und unterstreicht das Engagement des Unternehmens, batterieelektrische Modelle speziell für Automobilfans zu entwickeln. Darum geht es diesmal!Mit dem neuen bZ4X Touring erweitert Toyota sein Angebot batterieelektrischer Fahrzeuge und knüpft an den Erfolg des Elektro-Crossovers bZ4X an. Als neues, besonders geräumiges und vielseitiges Schwestermodell eignet sich der bZ4X Touring ideal für Familien sowie für alle, die den Sprung ins Outdoor-Abenteuer lieben. Das Outfit!Zum unverwechselbaren Design des bZ4X kommen neue Styling-Details wie ein neu gestalteter Stoßfänger sowie das schwarze Finish der Radhäuser und des Unterfahrschutzes hinzu. Durch die erweiterte Gesamtlänge des Fahrzeugs wuchs das Laderaumvolumen um fast 50 Prozent an. Power und Drive! Toyota bietet den bZ4X Touring wahlweise mit Vorder- oder Allradantrieb an. Beide Versionen sind mit einer 74,7-kWh-Batterie ausgestattet. Die frontgetriebene Version teilt sich den Antriebsstrang mit dem bZ4X, ihr Elektromotor leistet 165 kW/224 PS und entwickelt ein Drehmoment von 269 Nm. Damit beschleunigt der bZ4X Touring von null auf 100 km/h in 7,3 Sekunden, die maximale Reichweite beträgt dann 591 Kilometer. Die Allradvariante verfügt über eine zusätzliche hintere E-Achse, die nochmals 167 kW/227 PS beisteuert. Daraus ergibt sich eine Systemleistung von 280 kW/380 PS, die den bZ4X Touring zum stärksten Toyota Elektromodell auf dem Markt macht. In dieser Ausführung sprintet der Touring in 4,5 Sekunden aus dem Stand auf 100 km/h. Noch wichtiger als die reine Geschwindigkeit ist die Kraft des Antriebsstrangs, mit der der bZ4X Touring – wie es sich für ein Toyota SUV gehört – auch unwegsames Gelände bewältigt. Die maximale Reichweite der Allradversion beträgt bis zu 528 Kilometer, zudem lassen sich bis zu 1.500 Kilogramm Anhängelast (gebremst) an den Haken nehmen. Bei der Version mit Vorderradantrieb beträgt die maximale Anhängelast 750 Kilogramm (gebremst).Die Kosten!Die frontgetriebene Version ist ab 51.990 Euro zu haben, die Allradvariante kostet ab 55.000 Euro. Umay Acar-Sümer |Writer and Composer of ‘Beowulf the MusicalBio:Umay Acar-Sümer is a Turkish singer and composer based in Hampshire, UK. Having completed an MA in Medieval Studies and MMus in Music Composition at Royal Holloway, Umay draws inspiration from medieval literature and history in her writing. She is the writer and composer of ‘Beowulf the Musical', a two-act musical made up of 35 song based on the medieval epic poem Beowulf. ‘Beowulf the Musical' premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024 with Umay playing the role of Freawaru; the musical is now set to release an album with many of the original cast and orchestra members reprising their roles. Umay's writing influences include late medieval authors like Geoffrey Chaucer, Sir Thomas Malory and Chrétien de Troyes as well as anonymous poems from the Anglo-Saxon period such as The Wanderer, The Battle of Maldon and The Seafarer. Musically she is inspired by contemporary composers such as Alan Menken, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lin Manuel Miranda and Anais Mitchell as well as the works of Handel, Verdi, Mozart and Strauss. Scripture Reading: Revelation 20:1-10 In light of the multiplied and complicated problems of our world, it is clear that what the world needs is a king … someone to rule in divine wisdom and perfect justice and holy compassion. A king is exactly what God promised to David and through David, in what is usually called the Davidic Covenant. "When your days are fulfilled to walk with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. . . . I will confirm him in my house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne shall be established forever" (1 Chr 17:11,14). This is the earthly kingdom prophesied in the Old Testament and specifically detailed in Revelation 20:1-6. "And to him [Messiah] was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him" (Dan 7:14). "They (tribulation martyrs) came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years" (Rev 20:4). The King will come and He will establish His kingdom. It will be a kingdom of peace (Isa 9:6,7) … justice (Jer 23:5,6) … holy sovereignty (Rev 19:11-21) … and eternal duration (Dan 7:13,14). It is the coming of Christ and His promised rule that comforts us in the face of our fears and steels us in the face of our weaknesses. "The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever" (Rev 11:15). The goal of all creation is the everlasting honor of the triune God. When we are consumed with God's glory then, and only then, will we work and pray and groan for Christ to have a name in all the earth.

The Amazon driver apparently fell in her driveway and got hurt, her hip. Well, it turns out that she was not actually an employee of Amazon, but she was a subcontractor. 01:00 So does that mean that all of us who accept Amazon delivery packages are susceptible to being sued if one of these drivers comes on our property? That's a scary thought. If she was a true Amazon employee, she would be covered under Amazon's workers' contract. But she would imagine that if you were a subcontractor, you would have to have some sort of insurance, right? 01:30 Yeah, you would think, but my elderly neighbor is being sued by this lady. uh And my elderly neighbor didn't know there was an incident. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. So your elderly neighbor, she work? Is she always there? No, she wasn't home supposedly when this happened. uh But she didn't know anything about this. 01:58 until three or four days ago when she got this letter from a local lawyer. Ça serait un grand choc des civilisations, la Chrétienté contre l'Islam, des fanatiques religieux qui se font la guerre de manière ultra violente, tout ça pour l'appât du gain. Mittelaltermärkte boomen, Fantasy-Sagas werden zu Bestsellern und Streaming-Hits. Abgesehen davon wird jedoch mit Abscheu und Angst auf das sogenannte Mittelalter geblickt. Die Zeit zwischen 500 und 1500 n. Chr. gilt als verlorene Epoche der Stagnation, des Aberglaubens und der Unterdrückung. Schuld daran sei eine Mischung aus Unwissen und Überheblichkeit, argumentiert Historikerin und Sachbuchautorin Annette Kehnel. Une rééducation pluridisciplinaire Une fois passée la phase aigüe, le premier temps de l'urgence et après l'évaluation des conséquences de la commotion et le diagnostic (le cas échéant la convalescence), avec l'aide d'un ou plusieurs praticiens, le neurologue pourra envisager pour son patient, le travail de rééducation, sur le plan physique, cognitif, psychique : le langage, les gestes du quotidien, la mobilité. Une rééducation pluridisciplinaire Une fois passée la phase aigüe, le premier temps de l'urgence et après l'évaluation des conséquences de la commotion et le diagnostic (le cas échéant la convalescence), avec l'aide d'un ou plusieurs praticiens, le neurologue pourra envisager pour son patient, le travail de rééducation, sur le plan physique, cognitif, psychique : le langage, les gestes du quotidien, la mobilité. Show transcript: Dr. Stacey Clardy: Hi, this is Stacey Clardy with today's Neurology Minute. It's an advocacy update from the AAN's Capitol Hill Report. More than 200 AAN members came to Washington, DC, last week for the AAN's annual advocacy fly-in, Neurology on the Hill. As you probably know, this is the annual chance for neurologists to get some face-to-face time with members of Congress or their aides in the US right on Capitol Hill. AAN members had three asks for this year's event. We did cover them last week individually on the Neurology Minute, so have a listen if you want more detail, but I'll review them quickly. First, we asked for a permanent inflationary update to physician reimbursement based on the Medicare Economic Index and to raise the outdated budget neutrality triggers in the Medicare physician fee schedule. Under the current system, the AAN needs to ask Congress nearly every year to fix a proposed cut to physician payment under Medicare, so it's time for a better solution. The second ask, AAN members requested their legislators to co-sponsor the Connect for Health Act in the US. This legislation would support patient access to care by making those old COVID era telehealth flexibilities now permanent rather than requiring repeated extensions. And the need to make these flexibilities permanent was especially clear in the US during the 2025 government shutdown when Medicare recipients' access to telehealth lapsed for about 45 days. And finally, the third ask was for the BRAIN Initiative at the National Institutes of Health, it's a very important program funding basic research into the brain and it's losing a key funding stream that was previously provided through the 21st Century Cures Act, so the AAN members asked their legislators to close the gap by supporting $468 million in funding for the BRAIN Initiative in 2027. If you didn't go to Neurology on the Hill but want to support these causes, check the AAN's Advocacy Action Center, and you could contact your representative that way. Outside of DC news, a number of state legislators are considering bills that positively or negatively affect neurology. The AAN has weighed in on several of those bills with advocacy letters. The bills it supported include later school start times in Pennsylvania, restricting AI prior authorization denials in Florida and Hawaii, mandating coverage for telehealth services in Massachusetts, and reducing prior authorization burdens in Arizona and Kansas. The AAN opposed a New York bill, however, that would give chiropractors the ability to evaluate and diagnose neuromusculoskeletal conditions and provide consultation advice and recommendations on neurology.
