Einige Jahre später setzten Sabin und Koprowski ( beide in der USA) die Arbeit an der Entwicklung eines Lebendimpfstoffs fort. Sowohl Sabin als auch Koprowski gelang es schließlich, Impfstoffe zu entwickeln. Aufgrund der in Amerika bestehenden Festlegung auf den Salk-Impfstoff mussten Sabin und Koprowski ihre Tests beide außerhalb der USA durch führen – Sabin in Mexiko und auch der Sowjetunion, Koprowski im Kongo und in Polen. 1957 entwickelte Sabin einen trivalenten Impfstoff, 1959 erhielten zehn Millionen Kinder in der Sowjetunion den oralen Impfstoff von Sabin. Sabins oraler Impfstoff auf Basis von Lebendviren kam 1961 in den kommerziellen Einsatz und verdrängte weltweit nach und nach den injizierbaren Impfstoff, bis Ende der 1990er Jahre viele entwickelte Länder dazu wieder übergingen, wieder den inaktivierten Impfstoff einzusetzen, nachdem die Länder für poliofrei erklärt worden waren und es immer ein Risiko einen impfdruchbruches gibt. Ningún objeto ha inspirado tanta literatura como el santo grial, una copa cuya existencia nunca se ha podido documentar. La imprecisión acerca de qué es, dónde está y si alguna vez existió es seguramente su mayor fortaleza, porque una reliquia bien localizada se convierte en pieza de museo. El grial, en cambio, permanece siempre a un día de camino. Su historia es en realidad la de quienes lo buscaron. Monjes cistercienses, cruzados, ocultistas, arqueólogos de Himmler, guionistas y novelistas proyectaron sobre él lo que cada época necesitaba encontrar, y por eso sigue vivo cuando otras reliquias medievales duermen en polvorientas vitrinas. El objeto en sí aparece en el evangelio de forma muy fugaz. Los evangelios sinópticos cuentan que Jesús tomó el cáliz en la última cena, lo bendijo y lo repartió entre sus discípulos, luego desaparece de la historia. El punto de partida de los buscadores del grial es José de Arimatea, el hombre que pidió a Pilato el cuerpo de Cristo y le enterró en una tumba de su propiedad. Los evangelios apócrifos dieron mucha más importancia a José de Arimatea, que luego se convirtió en un viajero cargado de reliquias. La asociación entre José de Arimatea y un recipiente donde se habría recogido la sangre de Cristo en la cruz no cuaja hasta finales del siglo XII, cuando el borgoñón Robert de Boron cristianiza el objeto. Antes de él el grial existía, pero todavía no era santo. El primero en ponerle nombre fue Chrétien de Troyes en 1180 en su inacabado “Perceval o el Cuento del Grial”. Un joven galés llega al castillo de un rey herido y presencia una procesión en la que una doncella lleva un grial, palabra que en francés antiguo designaba una fuente honda para servir alimentos. Perceval calla, no pregunta a quién sirve aquello, y esa cortesía mal entendida condena al rey y a su tierra. Chrétien murió sin resolver el enigma. Robert de Boron lo identificó más tarde con el cáliz eucarístico, luego sustituyeron a Perceval por Galahad y la aventura original se transformó en alegoría mística. No mucho más tarde un alemán, Wolfram von Eschenbach, hizo del Grial una piedra con propiedades mágicas, el “lapsit exillis”, que custodian unos caballeros, los “Templeisen” en un castillo. Es aquí donde entran los templarios en la leyenda. El hecho es que, a finales del siglo XIII, había ya cuatro griales, pero eran muy diferentes. De esa multiplicidad nacen las lecturas posteriores. La eucarística traduce la misa al lenguaje de la caballería. La sanguínea convierte la vajilla en relicario. La dinástica, que imagina una descendencia carnal de Jesús protegida por sociedades secretas, no aparece hasta el siglo pasado. La lectura interior entiende la búsqueda del grial como un itinerario individual del alma. Lo que si tenemos son santos griales físicos en distintas partes de Europa. El más famoso de todos es el Santo Cáliz que se conserva en la catedral de Valencia, hay otro más en la basílica de San Isidoro de León, otro en Galicia, otro en Gales, otro en Viena y otro más en la catedral de Génova, estos dos últimos son platos, no copas. Hoy son piezas de museo muy valoradas, pero eso no es inconveniente para que los modernos buscadores del grial sigan apostando por unas o por otras. Dù còn không ít bỡ ngỡ, nhưng sự chủ động của đội ngũ cán bộ cơ sở đang tạo nên những tín hiệu tích cực ngay từ ngày đầu.Tại thôn Thống Nhất, xã Chợ Rã, tỉnh Thái Nguyên quy mô dân số và diện tích đã tăng gần ba lần sau khi hợp nhất từ ba thôn (thôn 2, thôn 3 và thôn 4), với 438 hộ và hơn 1.680 nhân khẩu. Ngay trong ngày đầu vận hành, cán bộ thôn đã họp, rà soát nhiệm vụ, phân công công việc và thống nhất phương án điều hành để bộ máy mới nhanh chóng đi vào nền nếp. Ông Hoàng Việt Thế, Trưởng thôn Thống Nhất chia sẻ:“Sau sáp nhập, chúng tôi sẽ tập trung phân công rõ trách nhiệm của từng thành viên trong Ban lãnh đạo thôn và Ban Công tác Mặt trận, tăng cường đối thoại với nhân dân, đồng thời đẩy mạnh chuyển đổi số trong quản lý và phát huy vai trò các đoàn thể để giữ gìn an ninh trật tự, vệ sinh môi trường, xây dựng đời sống văn hóa. Am Ende der Altsteinzeit ändert sich das Klima drastisch. Die Mammuts sterben aus, kälteliebende Tiere wie das Rentier oder der Moschusochse verlassen Mitteleuropa Richtung Norden. Auf dem Speisezettel der Jäger- und Sammlerkulturen in Wien stehen jetzt unter anderem Sumpfschildkröte, Wildschwein oder Biber. Die weitaus größte Veränderung aber bringt die Ankunft einer Gruppe von „neuen“ Menschen, die um 5.500 v. Chr. eine Siedlung an der Wiener Stadtgrenze in Brunn am Gebirge errichten und damit den Beginn der Jungsteinzeit in Österreich markieren. Es waren Siedler aus dem Nahen Osten, die aus Südosteuropa kommend der Donau gefolgt waren und ihre bäuerliche Lebensweise in eine Region brachten, die zuvor nur sehr dünn besiedelt war. Von einer Pioniersiedlung in Brunn aus entstehen nicht nur steinzeitliche Dorfgemeinschaften quer über Wien und das Wiener Becken verteilt, sie war auch Hotspot für die Weiterverbreitung der ersten bäuerlichen Kulturen in ganz Mitteleuropa. In den nächsten rund 3000 Jahren kamen immer neue Kulturgruppen, die sich im Wiener Raum niedergelassen haben und von deren Lebensweise zahlreiche Spuren erzählen. Sie haben hier bis in eine Tiefe von 9 Metern protoindustriellen Bergbau betrieben, imposante Langhäuser und Backöfen gebaut, erstmals Rinder und Pferde gezüchtet und waren Teil von überregionalen, hunderten Kilometer langen Handelsnetzen. In der 2. Dal 2012 è membro onorario dell'Asbjørnsenselskapet. Ha curato la prima traduzione integrale delle leggende norvegesi di P. Chr. Asbjørnsen (2020) e di Andreas Faye (2014) e la traduzione di un grimorio islandese (2025). Ha tradotto anche una ballata norvegese d'origine medievale Åsmund Frægdegjæva (2016), e una scelta di fiabe faroesi (2018). Ha partecipato come relatore alle ultime tre edizioni del Convegno Italiano di Studi Scandinavi (2013-2017-2023) e ha tenuto una serie di seminari sulla letteratura nordica presso le università di Roma, Milano e Napoli. Ha curato la revisione linguistica dei Drammi borghesi di Ibsen per i Meridiani di Mondadori (2024).Motivazione PremioCon questo riconoscimento intendiamo celebrare un lavoro di traduzione che porta per la prima volta in lingua italiana un patrimonio narrativo raro e prezioso. Il faroese, a lungo oscurato dall'uso ufficiale del danese, ha rischiato di scomparire come lingua scritta, resistendo soprattutto grazie alla tradizione orale di fiabe, racconti e leggende. Questa traduzione rende accessibile al pubblico italiano un corpus che ha custodito, per secoli, l'identità linguistica e culturale delle Isole Faroer.L'opera premiata restituisce con finezza la musicalità, l'immaginario e la profondità di una lingua che ha trovato nella narrazione popolare la sua forza vitale.
