And how do brands actually create something that visually resonates when critics are waiting to tear you down? Hear the full breakdown of the M&M's story and what you need to know as a marketer. Oh Here We Go's most controversial guest yet…Crypto Billionaire, Founder of Hex crypto currency, and soon to be Pulsechain, Richard Heart. You may know Richard from Hex, his first coin that has changed thousands of lives by making people overnight millionaires and/or financially independent. Or you may know him from his extremely extravagant, flashy, designer filled lifestyle…which he refers to as “Outrage Marketing.” Lacey & Steph took on this interview with Richard to really understand crypto from a coin founder himself, but also look into the lifestyle of a “bragging” billionaire. The girls wanted to dive deeper, beyond all of his bells & whistles & actually hear his story: where he came from, how he got here, his childhood, relationships & dating, what *really* makes him happy, mental health, & more. Richard is a character, that's for sure, but there is a lot more to him than what you see online, and we hope that this shares a little glimpse of that. In this episode we discuss: ⁃ What is crypto & the importance of it? (Dumbed down) ⁃ What is Hex & Pulsechain? ⁃ Hex's success. (10,000x in the first 2 years) ⁃ Why & how did you start Hex? ⁃ Donating 27 million to charity ⁃ The pulsechain “sacrifice” ⁃ “The worlds largest free airdrop” ⁃ Growing up poor ⁃ Relationship with his parents ⁃ Mom having schizophrenia ⁃ Being highly intelligent & having to transfer schools ⁃ Dating? Monogamy? ⁃ Losing his virginity story ⁃ His first businesses & retiring at 25 as a millionaire ⁃ Thoughts on therapy? ⁃ Thoughts on psychedelics? ⁃ Trust ⁃ What does happiness look like? ⁃ Is this lifestyle as fulfilling as you thought it would be? ⁃ Living longer (immortal..?) ⁃ The Health & Education systems Keep up with us & watch out for his upcoming documentary, The Highest Of Stakes (@THoSdocumentary on Twitter) Richard Heart: @RichardHeartWin on Twitter @RichardHeartOfficial on Instagram Oh Here We Go: @ohhherewego on Twitter & Instagram Lacey: @thelaceyclaire on Twitter & Instagram Stephanie: @Stephaniephotog on Twitter & @Stephanieparsley on Instagram More of OHWG: https://zez.am/ohherewego
What's good Few Tang Clan! This week we're talking about something we're all experiencing. However, many of us may not know the foolishness we're witnessing is on purpose and done WITH purpose. Artists, companies and brands are all using outrage marketing to gain attention, in hopes for flipping that attention for profit. It goes; make a mess, make an apology, reap the benefits of exposure to your new audience while your core audience rallies behind you. Of course we take it back for historical reference and walk the convo up to current times. This talk was long overdue.... In this episode, I argue that big brands who have been called out for their distasteful advertising material like Clicks have recently, actually do it on purpose to grow their brands' reach.

Seriously!!! In 2020, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that capitalism is doing it's job and taking advantage of marginalized communities and specifically black pain. Now brands are taking advantage of us reposting and talking about their foolishness and disrespect. This is what we call outrage marketing and we must be cautious. Several brands have done and I will not mention the one who is guilty of the latest offense but I will say it is a repeat offender. Past brands that tried it are #gucci #prada #burberry #hm #outragemarketing #moncler #LeaveThemAloneAndBuyBlack #blackhistory #buyblack #mindovermelanin #blackhistory365 #sambo #jimcrow #racism
