Connacht's first game since the announcement that Pete Wilkins is stepping down as head coach is in South Africa on Saturday (19th April 2025) when they take on the DHL Stormers in the BKT United Rugby Championship. Cullie Tucker is interim head coach until the end of the season with Connacht sitting in 13th place on 33 points, two points behind the hosts, but only three points behind Edinburgh in the play-off spots. Connacht have yet to win away to the Stormers in their two previous trips - the last being a 43-25 defeat in May 2023.
