Tis the season! Tis the season for the 4th annual Pucks on net Christmas Party! And this year, it's got an open bar!  The whole gang joins you on this festive and lively podcast to celebrate the Christmas season, give some gifts to NHL players and teams and enjoy a cocktail or two with some friends of the show. They discuss Hall's hit on Philip Larsen, whether a suspension was needed or the hit was clean, but more importantly, discuss how stupid and pointless the post hit scrum was. A common trend in hockey, a fight after a hard hit, and something that we can all do with out. They also touch on Carey Price's rage on the New Jersey Devils, whether he as well needed a suspension and if there was a tad bit of favouritism from the NHL to Price. Connor McDavid and Edmonton's retribution against the Philadelphia Flyers comes up and the ongoing conspiracy whether Brandon Manning intended to hurt Connor McHockey last season. A couple friends of the show join the podcast. Sam Anderson joins as Ryan discusses a traumatizing Christmas story, 'China' Dave Hoskins regales us with a tale of playing hockey in China and Errol Bruce (The Biscuit) shares his distaste of Mark Messier and hopes for Jagr to pass him on the all time NHL point leaders board sooner, rather than later. Finally, Geeta takes the mic and talks to some party guests, where we all hilariously learn, nobody listens to the hsow. Enjoy and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Dessutom: >> Jonatan Lindquist rasar över situationen då Vancouvers back Philip Larsen knockades medvetslös av New Jerseys forward Taylor Hall i en tackling. Snow has shut Metro Vancouver down, but we still got this week's podcast out for all of you! Ryan, Geeta and P Mac gather this week for a loose show to talk all things Canucks right now! They talk about head coach Willie Desjardins and president Trevor Linden almost weekly tradition of putting questionable comments and quotes in the media. Does the Canucks front office need media training? Would that calm down the concerned fan base? The gang also talks about Bo Horvat. Did we say talk about? We said praise the hell out of following his coming out party on national television against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The gang asks the tough question, when will big Bo be the top line centre in Vancouver? They also touch on Philip Larsen leaving Tuesday night's game vs New Jersey following a huge hit from Taylor Hall, discuss the log jam of players coming back from injury and whether Jim Benning makes a move to replace Larsen and Dorsett, who it was recently revealed he could be done for the season with neck problems. Finally, the gang looks at Randy Carlyle's interesting choice of words to describe John Gibson's health this weekend, reminisce about snow days, GT Snow Racers and take some questions from twitter. Enjoy!

Two sleeps until the NHL regular season begins, but the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast is already in full swing with a new episode jam-packed with all of the latest hockey news and fantasy spin.  We start with two awful real-life injuries that have an urgent fantasy impact, suggesting which Penguins and Panthers may get or take a bump while Crosby and Huberdeau are on the shelf. Then, Elan and Brian turn their attention to the NHL's waiver wire, where 3 more-than-serviceable players sit after being surprisingly let go in advance of the season opener. In particular, Brian plays the role of wet blanket to perfection by doubting whether Ondrej Pavelec's waiving means clear skies ahead for Hellebuyck, and also provides his dream scenario for P.A. Parenteau in 2016-17. The guys then roll through some of the season's newest Calder Trophy candidates as news trickles out of which prospects are making their teams out of camp, with stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Anaheim, Toronto, Columbus and Montreal. Finally, we share all the opening night line combos we've seen and mine them for hints at fantasy fortunes in the year ahead, zeroing in on a top-line winger in Detroit, a questionable piece in Ottawa's top six, an expected shift in Chicago, a rising youngster in Boston, and a multi-generational combo in Arizona. And still, there's more! The Yakupov trade, how to handle injured players, whether to trade for injured players, RFA situations, last-minute IR stashes, pre-season scoring leaders.. and tons more info that'll give you the early upper-hand in your fantasy pool as we head into the season. Players discussed on this episode include Sidney Crosby, Nail Yakupov, David Perron, Kris Russell, Jonathan Huberdeau, Jonathan Marchessault, Alex Steen, Kevin Shattenkirk, Jussi Jokinen, Michael del Zotto, Ivan Provorov, Travis Konecny, Brayden Schenn, Joonas Korpisalo, Sergei Bobrovsky, Marian Gaborik, Nikita Kucherov, Johnny Gaudreau, Hampus Lindholm, Rasmus Ristolainen, Rickard Rakell, Nick Ritchie, Jacob Trouba, Ondrej Pavelec, Connor Hellebuyck, Michael Hutchinson, P.A.
