Continuing a look back at Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney's NHL Entry Draft history. In 2017, he selected Urho Vaakanainen directly ahead of a trio of future top 6 centers. Sweeney did, however, flip the young defenseman this year in a package for Hampus Lindholm. The jury is still out on 2nd round pick Jack Studnicka, who's a restricted free agent without a clear role on the team. The big win was in the 4th round and the selection of potential franchise goalie Jeremy Swayman. The rest of the draft was a bit of a write off. Plus, controversy in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, Andrew Brunette given a raw deal in Florida, and Pierre-Luc Dubois should be a target if available. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
