Episode 194 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features an incredible conversation with Michael Hutchinson of the Vegas Golden Knights. In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, is one of our best ever, a "top-10 for sure," according to Woody, as Hutchinson shares specific details from a 13-season pro career that started as a Black Ace on the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup run in 2011, and has continued with stints with the Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs (twice), Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers and now Vegas. The 32-year-old shared lessons from past playing partners, including Tim Thomas, Tuukka Rask, Conor Hellebuyck and new Hall of Famer Roberto Luongo, as well as adjustments made along the way with a variety of goalie coaches, from how he moves to how he holds his stance, including a fascinating realization off the ice about the importance of a neutral pelvis that didn't come until he was 29.This interview is loaded with advice and insights that make it one of our best ever. All that, plus our last weekly trip to the old location of The Hockey Shop Source for Sports for a look at the Sportmask helmet line, as well as a preview of Black Friday Sale and the new store!

We thought Adin Hill would be pushing Logan Thompson for the top goalie spot in the preseason, but that has not been the case. Thompson is the clear-cut starter, and it's not even close. Hill continues to struggle and gave up 7 goals against his former team, San Jose on Friday night. He has not looked sharp in net. Michael Hutchinson, who we thought was vying for the backup role, was put on waivers. Laurent Brossoit is still out and hasn't appeared in camp and Robin Lehner is out for the season. Goaltending is the top concern in camp. We also talk about the latest round of cuts and our evaluation of the team through four preseason games. Learn more about your ad choices. Unlike the Central, the NHL's Pacific Division poses much more intrigue and fantasy value heading into the 2022-23 season. On Wednesday's episode of the Locked On Fantasy Hockey Podcast, Flip and Steele dive into the Pacific Division rankings, predictions, and preview for the upcoming year. The San Jose Sharks, Seattle Kraken and Anaheim Ducks make up the bottom-three of this division, but all three clubs still pose some spicy fantasy value, especially in the young stars of Jamie Drysdale, Matthew Beniers, and Timo Meier. After that, the Vegas Golden Knights should slot into the fifth seed in the Pacific after being dealt the blow of losing number one goalie Robin Lehner for the entire season. While they still have some superstar pieces in Mark Stone and Jack Eichel, their trio of goaltenders (Laurent Brossoit, Logan Thompson, and Michael Hutchinson) leaves so much to be desired. Where the quality is, both for fantasy and overall standing, in the Pacific Division is with the Calgary Flames, Los Angeles Kings, and Edmonton Oilers. Will Jonathan Huberdeau's addition be enough to salvage a wild offseason for the Flames? Can Jack Campbell be the No. 1 netminder the Oilers have been searching for? Do the L.A. Kings have enough talent to make a run? Find out on today's episode. Thanks for making Locked On Fantasy Hockey your 1st listen, every day. Little Hockey Podcast

The boys are back to give updates on all the stuff that's been happening in the Battle of Ontario! In Jordan's Betting Corner, he outlines his new strategy for getting back in the black this month and gives the Habs some grief for losing him a bunch of money the past few weeks.Jordan follows this up by slandering Michael Hutchinson's goaltending abilities and defending William Nylander.*record scratch*Technical difficulties (a Thanos snap??) cause a BLIP in the podcast, leading to a 24-hour time jump. Jordan retracts his comments on Hutchinson and doubles down on his support for William Nylander. The Leafs are injured and the Sens are good (but are they #ActuallyGood?). Should Brendan Gallagher's goal in the dying seconds against Matt Murray have counted? Keegan says "Yes" but for the wrong reasons, but Jordan says "Yes" for the right reasons. The boys got some sweet Twitter interaction from the legendary Marc Methot. Keegan thinks the Senators could make the playoffs. Filip Chlapik is done with the Senators. The Double Agent Game returns! Can Keegan correctly guess a player for a change? Not without cheating, it seems. Welcome to one of our most chaotic episodes to date. Personally, I blame all that love in the air … or maybe the fact Liz and our wonderful guest, Ruby, were heavily caffeinated. With less “real” news this week, we focus our attention on John Tavares becoming the hockey equivalent of an Avon lady, the weird and wacky games of the week, and the importance of mullets. Finally, in the spirit of the season, we hand out some valentines to NHLers across the league. Our sincerest apologies to Michael Hutchinson, you don’t deserve this.

Jonas and James recap the Maple Leafs ugliest loss of the season, a 6-5 OT loss to Ottawa in which they lead 5-1 after 2 periods of play. The guys discuss what to do with John Tavares and William Nylander, should they be split up, with Nylander pairing with Matthews and Marner skating with the Captain? The guys also praise the work of Auston Matthews this season, who might be the best player in the NHL right now. Jonas & Mirtle talk about how Freddy Andersen looks fatigued and with back to back games vs Ottawa later in the week, that pretty much will guarantee that Michael Hutchinson will get his first start of the season on Thursday. The guys take a look at trade possibilities involving Mikael Grandlund, Eric Staal and Sam Bennett, as the team struggles to find combinations that work on their third line. Finally the guys take your questions in the latest Leaf Report Podbag on subjects including the fourth line, Vesey, Hutch, Engvall and the newly acquired Alex Galchenyuk. In this week’s episode, the boys announced another huge upcoming guest. Author and sports personality, Jim Lang, who co-wrote Everyday Hockey Heroes with Bob McKenzie joins us next week. Volume Two will be available on November 10th. The Arizona Coyotes continue to be at the forefront of NHL news and the boys break down the Mitchell Miller situation after looking at all the facts. The incompetence of the Coyotes is baffling. We then shift gears to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The government says one thing, they receive backlash, then backpedal??? It’s confusing so let us explain and tell you why it’s a joke. We also talk about Alex Galchenyuk, Michael Hutchinson, and many other signings and hirings around the league. *Jagr Salute* Remember to subscribe to the show on YouTube or on your podcast app of choice! This episode of the podcast is going to be slightly different. Rather than talking to a current cyclist, I'm going to be investigating the life of a cyclist from the past. You've probably never heard his name before and you're even less likely to have heard his story. He was a German-born American called Maximilian J. St. George. His story is told via extracts from his book, Traveling Light or Cycling Europe on Fifty Cents a Day read by the actor Jeremy Walker with contributions from the historian Dr James Stout, the cycling writer Michael Hutchinson and two Romanian long-distance cyclists Lehel Benedek and Elod Keresszegi. It's an epic take of an epic cycling journey from over 100 years ago by the original Mr. Cycling Europe…
