There's a composer plugin for that! Module name/project name: AI Best Practices for Drupal Brief history How old: created in Mar 2026 by Angie Byron (webchick), one, of today's guests, a long-time Drupalist, one-time Acquian, and a fellow Canadian Versions available: dev version only, which doesn't seem directly opinionated about what version of Drupal you're using, though it does have minimum versions of PHP and Symfony libraries that suggest Drupal 10 is functionally your minimum Maintainership It is officially seeking co-maintainers Test coverage Documentation - an in-depth README, or you can ask an AI model! (like I did for this segment) 54 open "Work Items" on Gitlab, so lots of active discussion already Module features and usage AI Best Practices for Drupal aims to be the opinionated starter experience for AI-assisted Drupal development You can think of it as a single Composer install that makes any AI coding agent "speak Drupal": following community standards, preferring contrib over custom code, and avoiding framework-naive mistakes. It replaces scattered, tool-specific CLAUDE.md files and Cursor rules that some Drupal developers currently maintain individually, with one canonical, community-governed package that works across Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and more. With contributions by a variety of Drupal luminaries including Marcus Johansson, Christoph Briedert, and Scott Falconer, it's the Drupal equivalent of Laravel Boost: stop explaining Drupal to your AI every session and just get writing code. After install or update, it will create an AGENTS.md file from a provided template if there isn't one already, or it will update a specifically marked "ai-best-practices" section of an existing file You will also have a directory of provided skills, and guidance for creating new Drupal agent skills Also included is a set of evals, meant to automatically identify when AI models go off course and provide feedback AI Best Practices for Drupal is meant to provide guidance that will be particularly useful for AI agents, so it's ideal for Drupal developers getting started with AI tools, or for AI developers who want to get started with Drupal

Welcome to the DFO Rundown with Jason Gregor and Jeff Marek! We start the show with Mikko Rantanen, who is under fire after another questionable hit that has landed him a mandatory one-game suspension. Is one game too few for the Stars forward?Patrick Roy was livid after the Rantanen hit on Alexander Romanov. Should a coach be yelling at an opposing player after a controversial play?Winnipeg is without their Vezina goaltender, Connor Hellebuyck, and the teams behind them in the Central are pouncing on the opportunity to take advantage of a wounded Jets team. How high is the concern level in Winnipeg?Talking about the Central, the Minnesota Wild are getting sensational goaltending from Jesper Wallstedt and Filip Gustavsson, with back-to-back shutouts, and an 8-1-1 record in their last ten, which has shot them up to third in the division. The line of Matt Boldy, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Marcus Johansson has been stellar on both ends of the ice, prompting Gregor to say they might be the best line in hockey right now.The Colorado Avalanche are off to an incredible start, with only one regulation loss over their first 22 games. Mackenzie Blackwood is back from injury, and Scott Wedgewood has been exceptional in his absence. The goaltending tandem have back-to-back shutouts for the NHL's top team, but who is the MVP for the Avalanche this year? Marek gives an answer you might not expect. There have been plenty of surprises this season, and the Boston Bruins have the leading scorer in the NHL. You may not think this is surprising, as David Pastrnak is a top scorer in the league, but what if we told you he was tied with teammate Morgan Geekie!? Geekie has found his footing in his role on the Bruins and is enjoying the best start to a season in his NHL career. The Buffalo Sabres looked destined for the bottom of the standings again but have won four of their last five and have crept out of the cellar of the Atlantic. Are the Sabres finally putting it together and turning a corner to challenge for a Wildcard spot over a top lottery slot?On the other hand, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been struggling and now reside in last place in the Eastern Conference. What needs to change in Leaf Land?Gregor asks if Marek would take Celebrini or Bedard on the Olympic team if he could only take one of the two young stars. If you had to choose, who would you pick?Lastly, the report from the NHL on the Olympic rink came back, and the dimensions of the ice are not what were expected. The players won't be playing on Olympic- or NHL-sized ice, as the Olympic rink will be smaller than an NHL rink. Mr.1000, Marcus Johansson drops by the pod this week to talk about his newly acquired comma, following his 1,000th NHL game and ceremony. Carts and King are simply excited to have a new Swede on the show that isn't playing between the pipes. Marcus talks about his up bringing in Sweden, his extensive NHL experience, World championships experiences, and playing with some of the greatest to play this game. JoJo's style sense also came to light, as he showed off his new kicks and talked about this new venture. It is an outstanding feat to play 1000 NHL games, and with the number of points JoJo is putting up in the first month and half of the season, it appears he's making a solid case for the Swedish National team and a potential appearance in Milan. Jojo is on a heater as of late, and we are all for him continuing this pace! Listen up and get inside the head of our stoic swede, Marcus Johansson.

There's a module for that. Module name/project name: AI Image Alt Text Brief history How old: created in Aug 2024 by Marcus Johansson (marcus_johansson) of FreelyGive.io Versions available: 1.0.1 which supports Drupal ^10.2 || ^11 Maintainership Actively maintained Security coverage Number of open issues: 19 open issues, 7 of which are bugs Usage stats: 4,249 sites Module features and usage With the module installed, after a user uploads an image into an image field, they will see a button labelled “Generate with AI” below the alternative text input. Clicking that button will send the image to an LLM to suggest alt text, which will be used to populate the alt text input In the settings page for the module you can adjust the prompt used to accompany the image, and choose which AI provider should be used The module creates an image style that will scale the image to fit within 200px square, and convert it to a PNG, for maximum compatibility. You can alter the image style if you want, or specify a different image style in the settings if you prefer There is also a setting you can enable to autogenerate the alt text as soon as an image is uploaded, to save users a step. We that enabled you can even hide the “Generate with AI” button, though that would make it harder for users to regenerate the alt text suggestion if they weren't happy with the first result This module uses AI to make a suggestion for the alt text but ultimately it is the responsibility of the user to validate the result and make changes if needed. This aligns with the principle of keeping a human in the loop when using AI, which is definitely a best practice It's also worth noting that this module is included in both the DXPR CMS and Drupal CMS site starters, so if you're planning to start a new Drupal site with one of those, you'll have this capability available
