Now live at the Blur Podcasts, the Brooklyn based DJ duo - Pintauro Brothers! Over the past few years, the pair have begun to carve out a name for themselves as a dynamic DJ / Producer duo known for their eclectic taste in music and experiences. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, their work maintains a fine balance of modern electronic production and a live feel, a testament to their New Orleans roots. Over the past ten years, the Pintauro Brothers have showcased their talent across the United States, with a special emphasis on the vibrant New York City club scene for the last five years. Their live sets, filled with energy and a mix of live elements, have adorned popular local clubs such as Jupiter Disco, TBA Brooklyn, and Café Balearica. Their music has found homes in labels like Midtown House and Good Tempo (the twins' independent label established in 2022), with forthcoming releases on the likes of Nervous Records. He's been releasing music since 2012 and is co-founder of microminimal records and creator of the first electronic music record store/studio/distribution in Central America, Sala Sinestesia. Artro has different variations to sound when curating events, it depends on the concept, whom he plays with, the people and the place. His music is a passage through different emotions and experiences from every now and then. It has textures full of life and patterns that connect everything, organicity and constant elements that feel as currents of rhythm. All this treated with a fine selection of hand picked records and digital released and unreleased music from friends and himself. Artro has also been experimenting with a live audiovisual performance. Music and his vibe has taken him to cure podcasts, events, festivals, radio FM and more in places like Nicaragua, Honduras, Beijing, Houston, New York, Panamá, Chengdu, Qingdaoh, Honduras, El Salvador, Colombia and all around Costa Rica. With a lifelong love for music, they began playing the piano at just 8 years old, composing classical pieces that showcased her talent. Now, delving into production and discovering her true passion. Her music spans genres like Drum and Bass, UK Garage, Jungle, Hip Hop/Boom Bap, and Experimental music, pushing boundaries and creating captivating sounds. You have probably already checked out the articles about the electronic music scene in NYC. I had the pleasure of gathering interesting insights into how it all began and what are the current players, events and happenings you should have an eye on. Nervous Records told me about the roots of house and techno music in the "Big Apple" and when it all began with techno and house music in the 80's. TBA Brooklyn is not only home of the electronic underground music, but also home to all the local people from the scene nowadays. One of my personal highlights was the ebb+flow boat party where I met so many lovely people with whom I am still friends. You guys really made this trip very special and your concept is worth supporting to the max. It all started on my first day, when I attended a Deep Beats Yoga session at the House of Yes and bumped into Marvin Technolasko, the DJ that led us through the session. Many thanks again, my friend, for introducing me to all those lovely people and for our fantastic conversation.
