Tuesday's edition of the Daily Puck Drop with host Jason “Puck” Puckett and his weekly Tuesday guests, Danny Kelly, The Ringer and John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com.   Today's show covers the health of Geno Smith, John Mateer, problems with the transfer portal, why the NFL hates Bill Belichick and the Seahawks playoff chances. Puck opens the show with the news on Geno Smith and his health. Good news for Seattle because as Puck noted, you don't want to see  Sam Howell play.  Another Washington State player hits the portal and the latest moves has Puck worked up because the agent for Fa'alili Fa'amoe tried to extort the collective and the coaches.  Three games remain for Seattle and they still control their own destiny. Danny Kelly, The Ringer, joins Jason “Puck” Puckett for his weekly chat about the NFL, Seahawks and fantasy football advice.  Danny and Puck joke that the Hawks are back to sucking after their Packers loss. Both agree that they expected the loss, but not in that fashion. Sure appears the 49ers are done and could Kyle Shanahan be on his way out?  Would they consider trading him to the Chicago Bears?  Are they really going to pay Brock Purdy top quarterback money??what arch is the right fit for Caleb Williams?  Sure feels Kliff Kingsbury will get another shot in the NFL and it could be with the Bears.  Puck contends that USC would love for Lincoln Riley to jump to the NFL and join the Bears.  Bill Belichick is at North Carolina because no one wanted him in the NFL…why?  NFL teams don't want to give up power to an ego maniac. Football season winding down and that means fantasy football playoff time. Danny updates on the best last second waiver wire pickups for your playoff push. Lastly, they put another NFL figure on The Barge…who is it this week? The John Canzano Show with Jason “Puck” Puckett starts off with the decision by John Mateer to leave Washington State and enter the transfer portal.  The move is a big loss for the Cougars but is it the right move for college football?  John has intel on the reported offers for Mateer and they were out of reach for the Cougars.  Should we be upset that Mateer left Pullman? All signs are pointing to Mateer landing in Oklahoma. Rumors of tampering have run rampant associated with Mateer and Oklahoma. How do we fix the transfer portal?  Canzano shares his ideas on to fix the system and why it's currently broken. The girlfriend of Travis Hunter is receiving heat online.   John shares he's a little concerned about Hunter's future in the NFL and who he surrounds himself with.  Washington and Oregon fans are upset about their Big 10 schedule in 2025.  Canzano says the Huskies and Ducks have zero reason to complain or be upset. Finally, “Hey, What the Puck?!” Puck wants Cougar fans to stop posting a picture of Mateer on social media and saying, ‘Coug Forever.'
