In this two-part episode we are joined by Marcina Doze and Shannon Krebs. Marcina Doze is an emergency and forensic nurse with more than four decades of clinical experience, serving as a SANE since 2005 and as a certified legal nurse consultant and expert witness in forensic cases across multiple courts. A national leader in forensic nursing education and advocacy, she has held leadership roles within IAFN and ENA, contributed to legislation reducing SAFE kit backlogs, and continues to shape the field through teaching, policy work, and courtroom expertise. Shannon Krebs is an emergency nurse leader whose career began in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and has been defined by service, clinical excellence, and advocacy. Today, she manages the Malbis Freestanding Emergency Department and played a key role in building Baldwin County's SANE program, expanding access to compassionate, locally available forensic care for survivors of sexual assault. When their community lacked local forensic resources, Marcina and Shannon stepped up to create change. They unpack the clinical, legal, and leadership lessons behind building a successful SANE program—and how nurses everywhere can improve forensic care at the bedside. Confira os destaques do Jornal da Manhã desta terça-feira (03): A Justiça de São Paulo condenou Pablo Marçal a pagar uma indenização de R$ 100 mil a Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP) por danos morais. A decisão foi motivada pela divulgação de fake news associando Boulos ao uso de cocaína durante a campanha para a Prefeitura de São Paulo em 2024. Uma ação de inteligência da Polícia Civil de São Paulo impediu um possível ataque planejado para esta segunda-feira (02) na Avenida Paulista, na região central da capital. Doze pessoas, com idades entre 15 e 30 anos, foram identificadas e levadas para prestar esclarecimentos após monitoramento do Núcleo de Observação e Análise Digital (Noad). Segundo as investigações, o grupo articulava uma suposta “manifestação” sem pauta definida, com o objetivo de provocar tumulto, e planejava o uso de bombas caseiras e coquetéis molotov, com instruções compartilhadas por meio de redes sociais. O governador de São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), aumentou o pagamento de emendas voluntárias destinadas ao PT em 2025, totalizando mais de R$ 107 milhões, um aumento de 60% em relação ao ano anterior. Com isso, o partido do presidente Lula foi o que mais ampliou o volume de recursos recebidos no período. O PSB, do vice-presidente Geraldo Alckmin, também teve aumento. Em contrapartida, partidos da base aliada do governador, como PL, Republicanos, MDB, PSD e Novo, registraram queda nos repasses, apesar de alguns ainda concentrarem os maiores volumes absolutos.
