A refreshing and humorous program spotlighting collegiate and pro sports. This talk show combines hard hitting topical data with some great insight.
That was a bunch of fun for Crimson Tide fans. The passing game erupted, and the defense continues to be world-class as Alabama beat Vanderbilt 55-3. We discuss what was easily Alabama's most complete game to-date, and look ahead to the next three games. It is time to find out exactly what this team is made of. First up is Arkansas. Is their putrid pass defense something that Bryce Young and the Tide WRs can exploit? Which version of the Tide will show up next Saturday, the Texas version or the other three games? We discuss all of that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts on this episode!
Nothing like a get-right game back in the friendly confines of Bryant-Denny Stadium. The 63-7 whalloping of the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks saw plenty of good come from Alabama. Most importantly, this team is getting better. Are they generational? Nope, and Thomas has some hot sauce with his crow pie over that preseasoun pronouncement. With Vanderbilt coming to town next week, the Tide have one more tune-up before entering the make-or-break October slate where Arkansas, A&M and Tennessee get to tussle with Alabama. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts on this episode of BAMSRadio!
Woof. That was a tough one. While Alabama escaped with a win against the Texas Longhorns, there were major issues pointed out throughout that contest. The fanbase is aflame with demands, but is the season now a completely lost cause? Spoiler alert: No. Thomas was out there, and outside of the actual game experience, the trip was a grand time. We discuss what we saw on the field, where the Tide has to improve to get to its goals. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts as we review, and peek ahead to the next couple of weeks on this episode of BAMSRadio
College football is back. Games happened between the white lines. Alabama took care of business with an emphatic 55-0 destruction of a lesser opponent. Yes, it was only Utah St, but elite teams should wreck poorer teams when they square off. Now comes a visit to Austin, Texas to play the Fighting Steve Sarkisians. While the Longhorns have a great recruiting class, and some hope that they've shored up some questions along the lines of scrimmage, there are still some major deficiencies that Alabama should be able to leverage throughout the upcoming tussle. We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts as we get you ready for Alabama's big non-conference opponent of the year.
Football is back. Rejoice! The appetizer weekend was scrumptious, but it is time for the main course. Alabama takes to the field next Saturday against the Utah State Aggies to start the 2022 campaign. They already played one game against UConn so the guys have some insight into expectations as Utah State comes to Bryant-Denny. Unfortunately, given some of the struggles they had, it should be a long day for the Aggies next Saturday. That isn't all of the action we discuss on this episode. Scott Frost continues to prove he has the intelligence of a cabbage while coughing up a lead except this time, it happened on foreign soil. We discuss all of that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew, Fish and Thomas for another hour of talk, and laughter to get prepared for the start of the season.
Football is back. The Red Elephant Club scrimmage took place last week, and we had a few sources on the inside who talked about who, what, and how they saw. This team looks good, and even the potential problem spots have some possible answers that should put Bama fans at ease. We talk about job securing day for this edition of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Is Jaheim Oatis the new immovable object inside? How good can Traeshon Holden be now that Metchie and Jameson Williams have moved on? How far did Jahmyr Gibbs run during the scrimmage? Your answers await with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts.
Whew! After a scorching hot summer, the fall is finally upon us. Camp is underway, players are making moves in scrimmages, and the newest edition of the Alabama Crimson Tide is taking shape. BAMSRadio had some eyeballs on the scrimmage this past weekend, and we discuss what we are hearing as part of the run toward the start of the season. It's an exciting time for fans all over the sport, and BAMS is here to add to it. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts as BAMS powers up for another season!
Hot takes aplenty after a tough A-Day. Rain made is nasty, and the Alabama defense's pass rush did not help matters either. The OL will be fine. The team will be fine, and there were even some positives to be gleaned from the most recent iteration of A-Day. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts as we discuss what we saw from the Tide thie past weekend on BAMSRadio
One scrimmage down, and the Tide look forward to the annual A-Day festivities next week. We had a few folks who attended the scrimmage this past weekend and discussed a few of their takes on what they saw. Yes, the defense is ahead of the offense. Yes, this is both normal and a good thing. Yes, Alabama looks really good. Find out how good on this episode of BAMSRadio as we get our listeners ready for A-Day this weekend with a discussion of what was seen in Bryant-Denny Stadium this past Saturday. Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts have that and more on-tap!
BAMSRadio is back and talking more Crimson Tide football. The main focus of the offseason is replacing losses along the offensive and defensive lines as well as finding a couple of pass catchers for Bryce Young to throw to. The basketball team ended with a whimper too. We'll discuss all of that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation
That wasn't nearly as fun as had been hoped. A combination of immaturity and injuries doomed Alabama against Georgia. All credit to UGA for getting it done in crunch time. Drew, William and Thomas will discuss what they'll remember from this team, and get excited about everything coming back next year. As players decide to leave for other pastures, who can step up is talked about as well. It was a good season, and while Bama didn't finish the drill, there are plenty of positives around this program, and excitement heading into the offseason
The New Year is here, and it is the same story. Alabama walked into the College Football Playoff semifinal. Alabama dominated the College Football Playoff semifinal. Now the Tide faces a rematch with Georgia for all of the marbles. The BAMSRadio crew is pretty confident heading into this one, and we tear through a few narratives that have a limited statistical backing. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMS!
Bowl prep is almost done and the Alabama Crimson Tide's quest to win another College Football Playoff begins in under a week. The Cincinnati Bearcats are a statistical anomaly, but we talk X's, O's, Jimmies, and Joes throughout this episode of BAMSRadio. There's even a bonus discussion about Michigan & Georgia including a potential deep fried crow eating contest depending on the outcome of the contest. Join William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for this one since Drew is traveling for the holidays
Holidays are a time for fun and family, and we wanted to thank all of our listeners for another great season. It isn't over yet as recruiting continues to spin, and the Tide are gearing up for their matchup with Cincinnati. Listen to Drew, Redfish, and Thomas as they discuss goings on ahead of a Festivus for All of Us (Bama fans).
Alabama did what Alabama does on Saturday against the Georgia Bulldogs. After being an underdog for the first time in two presidents, the Tide emphatically took down Georgia to win another SEC Championship. The Tide is #1 in the College Football Playoff, and with how the bracket has set up, has a great chance to secure another national title. We do have some crow to eat as all three of us took Georgia. Deep fried, bit of hot sauce, with an extra helping of celebration. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMSRadio.
"Stressful" is the word of the season for this Crimson Tide football team. Another close call lead to one of the more insane endings that will ever be seen in the Iron Bowl. It took four overtimes, and one of the most unbelievable 97 yard drives to get it done, but the Tide move on to the SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs. There haven't been much taller hills for Nick Saban's Tide to crawl than the Bulldogs, and all of us see a close, four-quarter fight. We discuss the Disaster in the Pasture, and the SEC Title Game on this episode of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another fun time!
Alabama struggled to put away a solid Arkansas Razorbacks squad this past Saturday, but they did manage a 42-35 win and earned a shot at the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship. There is this little matter of a trip down to that West Georgia Voodoo Hellhole for the Iron Bowl before Alabama battles Georgia. The Tigers are in a tailspin after blowing a huge lead against Mississippi State and then losing to South Carolina. Will they give Bama a game? We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts.
That was over quickly. Alabama dispatched a bad New Mexico St. Aggies team this past weekend. A bunch of players saw the field, a couple of injuries raised some eyebrows, and the Crimson Tide rolled. Now the final sprint of the season is upon us with the Arkansas Razorbacks coming to town. A win and Alabama clinches a brawl with the Georgia Bulldogs. Arkasas has some disadvantages coming into the matchup with the Tide, not the least of which being that they play a similar brand of football to the Ole Miss Rebels. While we expect the Tide to roll next weekend, there are still some issues for the team to work through. We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMS!
The Alabama Crimson Tide beat LSU 20-14, and will require a new foot after shooting the collective foot off from mistakes. It was not pretty, and that level of effort will get Alabama beaten against a motivated Auburn or Arkansas team in a few weeks. Having said that, a win is a win and everything is still in front of this football team. We break down what we saw, mourn for a couple of shattered TV remotes from throwing them across the room, and look ahead fo New Mexico St. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMSRadio!
Alabama had a restful bye as most of the SEC beat each other up this past weekend. Georgia was impressive taking advantage of Florida's mistakes. Auburn beat an overmanned Ole Miss at home. The first College Football Playoff rankings are due this week. We discuss that on this episode of BAMS, as well as the dumpster fire lovingly referred to as Baton Rouge. The Tigers have talent, but do they care at this point given the lame duck coach and mounting injuries? Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts give their picks on BAMSRadio!
The Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Tennessee Volunteers in a weird game where the Tide statistically dominated, but mistakes made it closer than necessary. Even with those mistakes, the Tide's win was its most dominant on both sides of the ball to-date. The cigar haze was comically real over the stadium on Saturday night. The bye week is upon us, and Drew Sanders is due back for the defense ahead of a critical November stretch. We discuss all that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of the show!
The world returned to its typical axis with a 49-9 beatdown of Mississippi State on the road. The Tide won, and the team looked happy and engaged for the first time in a few weeks. We discuss that, and how pleased we were with the effort. It is also, officially, Tennessee hate week. None of us like Tennessee, nor do we want to sit with that awful orange. There's a bit of bonus play by play from Drew DeArmond as Mac Jones threw a bomb mid-recording. We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so sit back with Drew, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another great episode of BAMSRadio!
Well. That wasn't fun. The Alabama Crimson Tide went on the road and were upset in a stunning turn of events down in College Station. The film should be ritually burned by the entire team because everyone could have played better, even the players who had the best games against the Aggies. The lack of proper preparation, and doing the little things right in the week leading up the game, finally came together with a listless effort to get Bama upset. Alabama is now at a crossroads. The team either circles the wagons, starts doing the little things correctly and reaches what is still an absurdly high ceiling for a college football team, or everything fractures and the Aggie game was a preview of things to come. We discuss where everything went sideways against the Aggies, offer some clarity on WHY some of the decisions may have been made by everyone involved, and look ahead to Mississippi State on this episode of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMS!
Much ado about nothing? Much ado about nothing. The Alabama Crimson Tide put a beatdown on the Ole Miss Rebels. Popcorn was consumed but not by anyone wearing that powder baby blue nonsense. The defenas continues to progress, and the offense gets better every week. The biggest thing that could derail the Crimson Tide train is injuries. The loss of Jase McClellan will hurt, and the running back room is suddenly thin ahead of a road trip to College Station to play Texas A&M. The Aggies are reeling from a couple of losses but will give the Tide their best shot. We break down Ole Miss, and look ahead to A&M on this episode of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another great episode!
After a tough game against Florida, a sugary cupcake in the form of the Southern Miss Golden Eagles was just what the doctor ordered. It was called a "get right" game, and the Tide certainly got right. Bryce Young played his best game so far, and Jameson Williams has rockets attached to his cleats. All of that prepares for a visit from the Ole Miss Rebels in what is arguably the biggest game of Alabama's regular season. Lane Kiffin will have the Rebels ready to rock next Saturday, but Nick Saban should have his team ready to roll. We discuss Bama, USM, Ole Miss, and a smattering of national games from this past weekend on this episode of BAMS so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of fun!
What a difference two quarters makes. After going up 21-3 heading into the second quarter, the Alabama Crimson Tide made things a lot harder than necessary against the Florida Gators before escaping with a 31-29 win. There was heartburn aplenty for everyone surrounding the program, but is this a case of Massive Fan Overreaction, or are there concerning trends for this iteration of the Crimson Tide? That is a main discussion point of this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another episode talking about everyone's favorite football team.
Alabama struggled a bit against Mercer, but it was more of those second week blues as opposed to anything worth panicking about. The first true road test for a large portion of Alabama's roster is next week as the Tide travels to Gainesville for a battle with the Florida Gators. The team which pushed the 2020 version of the Tide the hardest has had a bunch of turnover, and played a couple of teams which earn them a "meh" from the panel so what will Bama see against the Gators? We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMSRadio.
The 2021 season opener for the Alabama Crimson Tide was roughly like every season opener Alabama has had under Nick Saban. Alabama scored a lot. The opposition, in this case the Miami Hurricanes, scored a little. It was a brutal beatdown to open the season and the rat poison is flowing toward the Tide again. We react to everything that we saw from Alabama against the Hurricanes, and take a peek at a couple of things we expect as the Tide takes on Mercer this upcoming week. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of BAMSRadio!
Our long summer has ended, through not without a spanking from a hurricane. Prayers up for people affected by Ida. This week on BAMSRadio, we're breaking down the Miami Hurricanes. They're opponent #1 on Alabama's road to another potential national championship. With transfers, super seniors, and returning talent, there is a chance for a game from these Hurricanes, but not for an entire four quarters. There are many questions that we discuss and finally give our predictions to how we see the game going. Spoiler alert: Past is prologue. We add a bit of bonus discussion of Georgia/Clemson at the end as well, so join us for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation with your hosts Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts
The second scrimmage of fall camp is generally where a roster crystallizes and jobs are decided. One of Redfish's former teammates provided him an in-depth report on what he saw, plus Drew and Thomas had some SAWCES in the stadium who provided some tidbits. We discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide Conversation
Summer is coming to a close, and Alabama remains a glorious inferno. With a little less than three weeks until the Tide take on Miami, BAMS is back to talk about all of the happenings around college. Texas and Oklahoma are coming to the SEC. The hilarity of "Horns Down" earns a few laughs. Alabama had their first scrimmage of fall camp this past weekend, and we talk about what was heard through the Tide grapevine. This team will be good, ya'll, particularly if the worst thing to come out is that the punter is questionable. We'll discuss that and more on this kickoff episode of another season of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.
In what was the largest sports gathering to date in the US since Covid-19 blasted lives to pieces, the Alabama Crimson Tide football team finished up spring ball with the A-Day scrimmage. Bryce Young? Looks good. Defense? Looks good. Football from the stands? Looks good. There's a lot to be excited about even as we are preparing for a long summer before another Bama football season. We talk offense, defense and special teams on this episode of BAMS so tune in for another hour of discussion between Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts
The Alabama football team continues work towards the 2021 football season through their spring practice. The offense is replacing historic levels of production, as well as breaking in a new coaching staff. With all of these new moving parts, the defense is taking center stage this spring. Does the much maligned Pete Golding have a 2016-esque unit based on talent, and returning veterans? We talk that, basketball, and more on this episode of BAMSRadio. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation!
It seems like just yesterday that Alabama was celebrating national championship #18. Since then Alabama has only won practically every championship they could. Basketball is rolling. Gymnastics is great. Softball looks to be competitive. We focus on our expectations for Alabama's spring football, as well as revel in the Sweet 16 run for the Alabama basketball team. Can we get a plan for an update to Coleman now? Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger & Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.
Whew. What a fun season. Alabama finished the drill a week ago and won their 18th national title. We celebrate it on the show tonight, talk about what we will remember, and what made this group special. Even with football over, the Alabama basketball team continues to impress so we'll talk that too. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMSRadio.
A unique season will come to a close as Alabama takes on Ohio State for the national title. This group of young men are special, and we expect they should be able to finish the drill tonight down in Miami. Drew, Thomas and William get you ready for the rollercoaster ride with what we see as these two college football titans collide.
The world is back to spinning on its axis. Alabama won its semifinal game against Notre Dame, and Ohio State put it all together against Clemson for the first time all year. That sets up a juicy match up for all of the marbles. We react to both games, and start discussing preliminary impressions of Ohio State. The Sark-to-Texas situation adds an unstable element, but none of us believe it will be too big a problem for the Crimson Tide. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of BAMSRadio
The College Football Playoff is sneaking up on everyone this year. With a much smaller layover, teams have to tap dance to prepare for their semifinals. Early reports suggest that Alabama is all business ahead of a battle with Notre Dame with a bid into the national championship game on the line. Redfish is back and we talk about what he sees as keys to the game, as well as what the Crimson Tide faithful should expect as Alabama matches up against Notre Dame. We also discuss the Heisman briefly, and have a quick celebration over a couple of recruits deciding to roll with the Tide. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts fora nother hour of BAMSRadio as we get everyone ready for a big game against the Fightin' Irish
Whew. Alabama got by Florida in a 52-46 barnburner this past Saturday. The Tide now move on to the College Football Playoff to battle the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. We react to what we saw on the field this past Saturday, and talk about postseason awards. Is the defense really as bad as some say? Who wins the Heisman from Alabama? Did Ohio State deserve to make it? We answer all of these questions and more on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond and Thomas Watts for another episode of BAMSRadio!
Alabama completed an undefeated SEC regular season with a 52-3 drubbing of the Arkansas Razorbacks. The injury to Christian Harris remains the only small black mark from the game, and the team was getting rested and ready why Florida suffered an upset at the hands of a depleted LSU Tigers team. The loss knocked Florida out of the CFP chase, and dinged Kyle Trask's Heisman chances...all over a thrown shoe. The two teams now head to Atlanta with the SEC title on the line. Alabama is heavily favored, and we all think there is a reckoning coming for the Gators this coming weekend. We talk that, recruiting, and a bit of basketball to close the show. Join Drew DeArmond, Thomas Watts, and William "Redfish" Barger for another episode of BAMSRadio
That was satisfying. Alabama came out and executed at a high level against the LSU Tigers and got a humbling 55-17 win on Saturday night. It exorcised the Orgeron demons from last year where there were some colorful metaphors exchanged in the locker room. Alabama now turns to finishing the regular season out strong against the Arkansas Razorbacks. We discuss the Hawgs, the Tigers, and the Gators on this episode of BAMSRadio as we can't help but look ahead to a big SEC Championship Game match up with Florida. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation!
A satisfying senior day was punctuated with a domination of our rivals from across the state. The 42-13 win wasn't half as close as it was on the scoreboard, but it was still a big satisfying win for Alabama. Mac Jones threw for 5 TDs, and the only thing Devonta Smith didn't do was serve nachos to everyone in attendance. With one set of Tigers down, the other set gets a visit from Alabama this week as the Tide travels down to Baton Rouge for a contest over a year in the making. Ed Orgeron's postgame hysterics after last year's win remain stuck in Alabama's craw like grandma's pecan pie. That situation will be rectified come Saturday night because LSU is a bad team this year. We discuss all of that and more with Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts. Join us for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.
In the oddest of football seasons, the Iron Bowl has somehow managed to sneak up on everyone. After a thorough trouncing of the Kentucky Wildcats, Alabama turns their attention to preparing for a visit from instate rival Auburn. The Tigers have gotten the benefit of some lucky bounces and no-calls throughout the year, but they haven't seen anything like Alabama this year. The Tide continues to round into form as the defense has managed to claw its way into a statistical spot that doesnt give Tide fans heartburn. That will need to continue as Auburn comes to visit. We break down Kentucky and Auburn on this week's episode of BAMSRadio, so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation!
Extra week off happened due to coronavirus. That's an unfortunate situation, and the make up week may turn into a bigger penalty for the Tide given the back part of the schedule. While we do discuss that, we heavily turn our focus to the Kentucky Wildcats. Big Blue has built a steady program over the past few years, but Alabama is just better. On top of that, Kentucky is a less talented Georgia team. Expect a big win this weekend, and suddenly the college football playoff looms large as games are cancelled. What will happen? Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts discuss that and more on this episode of BAMSradio!
Alabama took a week off, and earned the number 1 spot in the coutrny for their trouble. Notre Dame's win over Clemson, and Florida's beatdown of Georgia are discussed on this episode of BAMS, but those two contests are side shows compared to what is on tap for the Crimson Tide. A visit to Red Stick to play the LSU Tigers looms large, but this ain't your 2019 LSU Tigers. It has more in common with a DiNardo LSU team, and Alabama is poised to administer a whoopin'. The losses from 2019 have not been fixed, and the Tigers have practically no defense. Yes, Stingley is good, but Devonta Smith already torched him once, and we expect him to do it again. We break it down and give our thoughts on this episode of BAMSRadio so join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for more Crimson Tide conversation.
The first six weeks of the Crimson Tide slate have come and gone, and nary a blemish can be found on Alabama's record. With the team heading into a needed bye week, we'll talk about what we saw against Mississippi State as well as other teams around the SEC and the rest of the college football landscape. Catch Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation!
Alabama went to Knoxville and put a beat down on the Tennessee Volunteers. The defense was...better...but the story coming out of this one was the season ending injury to Alabama's Jaylen Waddle. That loss will reverberate through the season, and we discuss what the Tide can do to smooth over that loss as they continue their pursuit of the 2021 National Championship. There are also some Air Raid Bulldogs coming in from Starkville for a game. Since their win over LSU in week one, Bully has looked decided...bad...but can they present some scenarios to stress the Crimson Tide? Look for that discussion and more from Drew DeArmond, William 'Redfish' Barger & Thomas Watts on their hour of Crimson Tide Conversation
That was fun! A 41-24 win where Alabama dismantled a solid Georgia squad in the second half is the perfect panacea for some of the early frustrations from the Alabama fan base, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Is Mac Jones the Heisman candidate on this team? Or Jaylen Waddle? Or Devonta Smith? Or Najee Harris? Is Steve Sarkisian the best assistant on the country with his schemes? We talk about what we saw on the field in Tuscaloosa this past Saturday, and bask in the glory of a big win. There is still plenty of work to be done for Alabama as they prepare for a trip to Neyland Stadium. All three of us have cigars picked out and ready for what should be another big Bama win, but one prediction is closer than the experts think. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation
What a tough night game against the Rebels last Saturday. The defense was ... rough. After a record setting poor performance, a lot of fans are concerned, but BAMS talks about what happened, and why it doesn't necessarily translate with against Georgia. Styles make fights, and the styles of these two teams make for a fairly decisive win. We whip around both games, and get fans ready for a tough game against the Dawgs in BDS. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation
After thoroughly dismantling the Texas A&M Aggies, the Alabama Crimson Tide are riding high. There is plenty to work on, and tweak, and continue to evolve towards, but this is a national championship caliber team. The Tide will be traveling to Oxford for a game against the Fightin' Lane Kiffens, and it will be in a monsoon. Hurricane Delta will be moving through, and that will affect how the game plays out. Expect a heavy dose of Alabama running the ball to shorten the game, get a win, and get out of Oxford healthy ahead of a huge match up against the Georgia Bulldogs in two Saturdays. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation.
Ah, football is back and normalcy has returned. Alabama played a spectacular game for 2.5 quarters, but depth is a major concern in this Covid-changed season, so we'll give the Tide a pass on this BAMSradio. The first team looked elite on both sides of the ball, and even some of the backups made eye-opening contributions in the second half. While Alabama was cruising, Texas A&M struggled with consistency against Vanderbilt, and the rest of the SEC is struggling to find their footing. We react to an opening week win for the Tide, and peek ahead to the Crimson Tide home opener. Join Drew DeArmond, William "Redfish" Barger and Thomas Watts for another hour of Crimson Tide conversation
