What if the right kind of water during a fast could supercharge your mitochondria and accelerate healing?Dr. Katie sits down with Dr. Petra Davelaar, a naturopathic doctor who's making waves in the world of metabolic health with her research on deuterium depleted water. If you've never heard of deuterium, you're not alone. This heavy isotope of hydrogen exists in every glass of water you drink, and when it builds up in your cells, it can throw off your mitochondrial function and create the perfect conditions for illness to take hold. Turns out, drinking regular water during a prolonged fast might actually be counterproductive because you're loading your system with deuterium at exactly the wrong time. Dr. Davelaar breaks down the science in a way that finally makes sense, explaining why this tiny subatomic difference matters more than most people realize.Chapters:05:30 - When Your Mitochondria Hit The Brakes07:17 - The Hidden Traffic System Around Every Cell10:04 - The Threshold Where Health Starts To Slip13:00 - Why Fat Fueled Diets Change Everything16:21 - The Water That Supercharges Healing18:13 - Surprising Anti Cancer Effects In The Research21:11 - The Survival Data No One Talks About24:24 - Clearing The Biggest Block To Recovery33:37 - How Sunlight Turns On Your Energy Dr. Davelaar shares data from 32 years of clinical use showing that people who cycle deuterium depleted water alongside their treatment see their life expectancy increase by three to five times compared to standard care alone. Dr. Davelaar connects the dots between deuterium, sunlight exposure, and ketogenic eating. She explains why your morning sunlight matters for burning fat, why sunglasses might be working against you, and how eating local, seasonal foods naturally keeps your deuterium levels in check. Plus, she walks you through testing your own levels, how to use deuterium depleted water safely, and why this might be one of the most cost-effective interventions you've been overlooking.Access the FREE Water Fasting Masterclass Now: https://www.katiedeming.com/the-healing-power-of-fasting/ Transform your hydration with the system that delivers filtered, mineralized, and structured water all in one. In this week's episode of The Energy Code, Dr. Mike Belkowski takes listeners on a fascinating deep-dive into the origins, science, and cutting-edge clinical research behind deuterium-depleted water (DDW) — specifically Litewater, the most depleted DDW on the planet at just 10 ppm. Drawing from a decades-long historical arc, from the Big Bang to Soviet gerontology labs to modern mitochondrial biochemistry, Dr. Mike breaks down how deuterium impacts ATP production, aging, longevity, cancer metabolism, and cellular repair. He also explains why deuterium depletion may be one of the strongest yet overlooked tools for increasing mitochondrial function and long-term resilience. Listeners also get a rare behind-the-scenes look at Victor Sagalovsky's A Brief History of Deuterium-Depleted Water and the scientific breakthroughs that shaped the modern DDW field. Dr. Mike shares how BioLight's updated BioBlue formulas now use 100% Litewater, and why lowering deuterium levels below 120 ppm may be a cornerstone of anti-aging protocols. In This Episode, Dr. Belkowski Covers:

We should all be doing this just as a proactive way, not so much as a reactive one… It's really a sad thing, the state we're seeing chronic illness at.” “60 million people in the United States have parasites that have been tested. That's through an approved lab to give us that number.” “I'm trying to teach and show people how to be sovereign over your own health and body so that you have a little more control. Chronically ill people, one of the biggest things is that I lost control over sovereignty with my own body over an illness, and over other people around me telling me what's wrong with me, and I really want to give that control back to people.” RESOURCES MENTIONED Order my new book: The Perimenopause Revolution HERE https://peri-revolution.com/ Use code ENERGIZED and get $100 on your first CAROL Bike order https://carolbike.pxf.io/GK3LaE Use code THRIVE15 and get 15% off on your Berkeley Life order https://berkeleylife.pxf.io/Vxvdja RogersHood Website → Order the ParaFy Parasite cleanse kit HERE! Craig Siegel was The Walking Dead. Thirteen years on Wall Street. Making good money but the lights were on and nobody was home. Depleted at the end of every day. Not tired from a job well done. Depleted from being completely out of alignment. Then he started running marathons. Those miles became his connection time. Tapping into divine inspiration without caring about anything else. The pandemic hit and Craig shut his office for two weeks. Used that time to get quiet and reassess. Realized his obsession with personal development wasn't just passion. It was assignment. Built a ten-lane highway strategy. Coaching. Speaking. TED talk. Podcast. Book deal. Started with zero following. Zero connections. Here's what gripped me. Craig said going back to his old life equated to death. Not metaphorically. He actually associated death with choosing to return to Wall Street. He went back one day after starting CLS. Came home and said never again. Burned the ships. All in or die trying. The difference between pressure and stress became clear. Pressure is a flashlight showing massive growth on the other side. Stress means you're in the wrong arena. Out of alignment. Soul contracting. When you feel drained depleted tired in that deep way it's your signal to reassess everything. The transformation included his entire identity. Got engaged to his soulmate. Got a new puppy. Everything reinvented. Before that he wasn't even himself. Created a persona based on nothing. When he reinvented he gave himself permission to be less than perfect. Journey back to actual him. People would gravitate or they wouldn't. He could live with that. The money story is crucial. Craig makes more now than he ever made on Wall Street. Difference is it's a byproduct and energetic exchange. You can have purpose and love what you're doing while unapologetically doing business too. Most people think what made them successful was the arena not themselves. Wrong. You make everything successful. Those characteristics transfer. The Reinvention Formula released last August. Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. Fifteen years of personal development condensed. First step is getting clarity. Realizing you're not in alignment. Understanding you have a choice. This is your movie. You're the main character. If you don't like the plot the pen is in your hands to rewrite the next scene. We Meet: Craig Siegel, Global Keynote SpeakerConnect:Connect with Rick: https://linktr.ee/mrrickjordanConnect with Craig: https://www.instagram.com/craigsiegel_cls/Subscribe & Review to ALL IN with Rick Jordan on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/RickJordanALLINAbout Craig: Craig Siegel, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best-Selling Author of 'The Reinvention Formula,' is a global keynote speaker, coach, TEDx speaker, and host of The CLS Experience podcast. Endorsed by luminaries like Jim Kwik and Ed Mylett, Craig, a 7-time marathoner, left his Wall Street job during the pandemic to pursue his true purpose. His mastery, energy, and inspirational impact have made CLS one of the most engaging communities globally. Craig focuses on removing limiting beliefs, fostering positive mindsets in both business and personal realms, and encouraging a wholehearted commitment to one's true purpose. He believes the riskiest thing we can do is to play it safe.

In this mind-expanding episode, Darin sits down with Dani Fontaine — researcher, practitioner, and expert on the human body's forgotten communication system: the endocannabinoid system. They unravel how this network regulates everything from mood and sleep to pain and consciousness — and why it was deliberately scrubbed from mainstream medical education. Dani reveals how cannabinoids, light, sound, and nature all communicate with our body's receptor fields — shaping the way we feel, heal, and perceive the world. Together they explore the profound spiritual and scientific implications of this hidden system, and how it connects us back to balance, nature, and truth. Vet Antivenom Saves Child After Hospital Stock Depleted; Venomous Sea Snake Causes Wildlife Sanctuary Evacuation Jeremy Zakis The segment covers two significant snake-related incidents. A venomous sea snake, rescued from the coastline by a Good Samaritan, was dropped off at the Coffs Wildlife Sanctuary. Because sea snakes panic and become aggressive and unpredictable on land, the sanctuary had to be evacuated for two hours while specialized snake catchers were called in. Separately, an 11-year-old girl bitten by a tiger snake in South Australia was rushed to Port Augusta Hospital, which had run out of antivenom. A quick-thinking doctor secured a vial of antivenom from a local veterinarian, confirming that the antivenom used for animals is effective for treating humans in emergencies, saving the girl's life.

The Rams are failed miserably last night to finish the job vs. the 49ers, and they're now sitting at 3rd in the division at 3-2 and are now 0-2 vs. the NFC. It was embarrassing, to say the least. The 49ers were completely depleted, and all the Rams had to do was show up hungry to handle business. They started slow and made far too many crucial mistakes in the end. No one is in a rush to see Cooper Rush get behind center but Houston sports media pundit Matt Thomas tells Nestor that the Texans have a lot of experience seeing him throw and Derrick Henry run the ball against them over the years. The Ravens are 8-0 against the horns in Baltimore but lots of injuries for the Ravens presents a big opportunity for C.J. Stroud to excel in a matchup of scuffling playoff hopefuls early in the NFL season. Preview: General Blaine Holt discusses the Pentagon's push to double missile production for potential conflict, noting that US weapon stocks were depleted following aid to Ukraine. He emphasizes the critical need for procurement reform and securing domestic supply chains for materials like steel and aluminum. Holt also addresses the military's shift back to a "warrior ethos" away from "woke" culture, suggesting this change is already leading to honorable resignations and retirements among senior officers. 1958

In this week's episode of The Energy Code, Dr. Mike Belkowski sits down with Victor Sagalovsky, co-founder of Litewater Scientific, to explore one of the most cutting-edge frontiers in mitochondrial optimization: deuterium depleted water (DDW). Victor, a longtime water researcher and pioneer in bringing ultra-low deuterium water to the world, shares how this overlooked isotope may hold the key to boosting energy production, extending healthspan, and even influencing genetic expression. Expect a mix of quantum biology, practical lifestyle strategies, and a deep dive into the physics of water as Dr. Mike and Victor decode how lowering deuterium levels impacts mitochondrial health and human longevity. Key Topics Covered Victor's Origin Story – How a lifelong fascination with water led him to co-found Litewater Scientific and make deuterium depleted water accessible . What is Deuterium? – Breaking down the isotopes of hydrogen and why deuterium disrupts mitochondrial ATP synthase, causing “stutters” in energy production. The Mitochondrial Connection – How excess deuterium damages membranes, reduces proton motive force, and accelerates aging. Deuterium & Disease – The striking links between high deuterium levels, cancer risk, and neurodegeneration. Thresholds for Health – Why 120 ppm is considered the metabolic “line in the sand,” and how most modern water supplies far exceed this. How DDW is Made – The massive proprietary columns and energy-intensive process behind creating 10 ppm and 5 ppm light water. Psychological & Cognitive Benefits – Correlations between lower deuterium levels and improved mood, optimism, and confidence. Lifestyle Strategies – Beyond DDW: fasting, ketogenic diets, hydrogen inhalation, and limiting overconsumption of food and water. Practical Outcomes – How listeners can begin to measure, lower, and optimize their own deuterium levels for energy and longevity. Key Quotes Victor Sagalovsky: “Every eight seconds, an ATP synthase stutters because of deuterium—it's the kiss and the elbow at the same time.” “Our physiology is designed for about 120 ppm of deuterium, but most people are sitting at 150 or higher—that's the metabolic danger zone.” “When you deplete deuterium, your body thanks you. You feel lighter, both metaphorically and literally.” Dr. Mike Belkowski: “When I first tried Litewater, I felt an immediate pull—like my cells wanted more. It was magnetizing.” “The implications for cognition, mood, and even neurodegeneration are massive when you consider how mitochondrial dense the brain is.” Episode Timeline 00:00 – Introduction & the promise of radical life extension 01:30 – Dr. Mike introduces Victor and Litewater Scientific 04:00 – Victor's background as a water researcher and discovery of DDW 07:00 – Why deuterium is the hidden disruptor in energy production 12:00 – How ATP synthase “stutters” under deuterium load 18:00 – Membrane damage, proton leakage, and mitochondrial shutdown 24:00 – Cognitive, emotional, and energetic effects of lowering deuterium 32:00 – The massive engineering challenge of producing ultra-low deuterium water 39:00 – Deuterium and cancer risk: research, case studies, and suppression 46:00 – The “line in the sand” for ppm and metabolic safety 55:00 – Lifestyle strategies: fasting, keto, hydrogen inhalation, and exercise 01:00:00 – Testing, tracking, and maintaining optimal deuterium levels 01:03:00 – Closing thoughts on energy, freedom, and future of water Resources & References Litewater Scientific Book: Deuterium Depletion: A New Strategy in Cancer Therapy - Dr. Gabor Somlyai Dr. Zoltán Nagy – Research on ATP synthase stutter and deuterium's role Deuterium Depletion Resource Hub
Send us a textMotherhood often comes with a silent struggle that few dare name: the overwhelming feeling of depletion that can leave you feeling like a shadow of yourself. Even when we love our children fiercely, the constant giving without replenishment leads many mothers to a state of burnout that affects every aspect of life. This powerful episode delves into why so many mothers feel worn down and what to do about it. We explore the science behind maternal depletion – how your emotional, mental and physical energy can be drained faster than it's replenished, especially under the weight of modern parenting expectations. You'll discover that these feelings aren't signs of failure but natural responses to unsustainable demands. Whether you're in the depths of burnout or simply feeling the first signs of depletion, this episode provides the validation, permission, and practical tools to begin your journey back to wholeness. In this episode, I'm uncovering the real reasons behind women's exhaustion. Tune in to discover why women feel depleted, not lazy. Key Topics: The difference between being lazy and being truly depleted How chronic stress, overworking, and constant caregiving create the “perfect storm” for burnout The impact of hormonal changes (adrenals, thyroid, estrogen, progesterone) and nervous system dysregulation on women's health Why traditional advice like “just get more sleep” often misses the mark The cultural shift that celebrates overworking and labels rest as laziness The importance of listening to your body's signals and trusting your own experience Practical strategies for healing: nervous system regulation, breathwork, morning sunlight, strength training, and micro-moments of rest Why “less is more” when you're in repair mode, and how to build resilience over time Encouragement for women in perimenopause, menopause, and all stages of life to reclaim their energy and well-being Let's dive in! Richard's life-long battle with alcoholism was abated for nearly two decades in AA. But he let up on his Program and ultimately relapsed on "thimbles" of moonshine in a Mississippi bar. His drinking resumed and he quickly found himself back in the same alcoholic quagmire that AA had extricated him from years earlier. Depleted physically, mentally, and emotionally, Richard found himself at the jumping off point. He was finally ready to accept help from two sober sisters and his mother, all of whom encouraged him to go s to AA. As the inevitability of an alcoholic death loomed large, Richard dragged himself back into the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous a little over two years ago. But getting sober this time was further complicated by serious pulmonary disease for which he uses an oxygen concentrator to breathe. As he awaits the possibility of a lung transplant, Richard has become the very model of courage in the face of adversity. His reliable service work for the AA club we both attend has endeared him to all of its attendees and has made him a ready resource of information about the club and AA in general. Richard's willingness to share his remarkable story of battling pulmonary attacks and alcoholism simultaneously shines a bright light on the importance of meetings to support each other in sickness and in health. I feel you will find much to be inspired about in Richard's story. I invite you to sit back and enjoy another awesome episode of AA Recovery Interviews with my AA friend and brother, Richard B. Brain fog, anxiety, and mental decline are often treated like inevitable parts of aging. But what if that narrative is wrong? In this episode, I'm joined by Harvard-trained physician and NAD expert Dr. Andrew Salzman to explore the science of brain aging—and why your brain's “fuel supply” matters more than you think. We'll unpack:✅ Why cognitive decline isn't inevitable✅ How one molecule (NAD+) drives 500 critical functions✅ Why NAD levels plunge by 50% by midlife—and what that means for brain health✅ The surprising role of CD38 in speeding up aging✅ Practical steps to maintain brain energy, mental clarity, and cellular healthThis conversation is about proactive longevity—not just adding years to life, but life to your years. Whether you're 25 or 65, your brain needs energy to thrive.

Hey humans, we're continuing our #WorkWell series, all about mental health in the workplace. In this episode, we're getting real about the difference between just being tired and being truly, deeply depleted. I know that feeling because I was just there myself. After we recorded our last episode on burnout, I felt almost out of my body, completely depleted and neurologically dysregulated. The only thing that could help was true rest and disconnection. So for this week, I have an exercise for you. It's an ask to take just five minutes every day to journal and really tune in to how you're feeling. Ask yourself: Do you feel recharged after a break? What do you actually enjoy right now? How often are you feeling irritable or numb? The goal isn't to fix it immediately, but just to recognize where you are. It's about figuring out if you're just tired, or if you've crossed over into depletion. Take this week to just check in with yourself. I hope you'll join me on this journey to work well. With light and love, we'll see you soon. Stacie More episodes at StacieBaird.com.
