Casey Head, was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 31, after noticing weakness, fatigue and rashes. Casey's cancer came back 3 times, leading to all kinds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy and even had a stroke during treatment. Casey underwent a brand new treatment resulting from a LLS conference after running out of all other options, asking the FDA and Pfizer to get on new treatment that was just approved and also underwent a stem cell transplant from her brother. Husband and wife, Elijah and Celeste discuss his battle with cancer since 2005. In 2021, he received a heartbreaking Stage IV diagnosis. Ginger is the Director of Corporate Relations for American Cancer Society, in Grand Rapids Michigan. Ginger was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, working in the non-profit sector. After the impact of non-profit organizations and Covid, Ginger found a position with ACS and is now a Reach to Recovery Volunteer. Michelle is a mom of 3 amazing girls and a health psychologist by trade. Michelle conducted research for underserved cancer survivors. In a twist of fate, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in February of '21, 15 years after her research. This was following a move to a new city, covid diagnosis with pregnancy (when Covid was just emerging and no protocols on pregnant women with Covid. With a newborn, Michelle noticed a lump while breast feeding.
