I'm joined by my good friend and fellow improviser Scarlett Moonbell who (at the time of recording) was a TA for a few improv classes at the Hideout Theater in Austin. Scarlett is also transgender and neurodivergent; she credits much of her self-discovery in these aspects of life to doing improv, which she shares about in more depth during our conversation. I have a chat with my friend and fellow Austinite comedian Mollie Kirby about her journey of healing and playing after her divorce, saying yes to life's offers even when it felt painful and impossible to do so, and choosing resilience in a chaotic world. Mollie is one of the sweetest humans ever (and SO hilarious) so I hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. Thank you, Mollie!! You are a gem.
I'm joined by master salesman (and also my BFF Laura's fiancé) Theodore Johnson in this episode as we chat about (and ridicule) ego attachments, limiting beliefs, lacking money stories, and the sales process. Much of this episode is banter with a few moments of wisdom sprinkled in, so I hope y'all enjoy us bull$hitting as much as I do. :) Thank you Theo for coming on the pod! You a real one, G. In this episode, I am joined by my good friend Lubu Roberts who has done comedy for 20+ years and credits it for giving his life more depth, meaning, and gratitude. Lubu spent most of his life assuming he would die young due to his cystic fibrosis. However, when he learned he could live much longer than expected, doing comedy became his way of not only improving his life but also processing the drastic shifts in his reality. We also do plenty of BSing in this episode because that's how we roll. Thank you Lubu for being on the pod; I'm glad you're alive, friend. :) Connect with Lubu: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lubuforhire/ Website: https://victrolapod.com/ Connect with Liza: Instagram: @lizadovgish Work with Liza: calendly.com/lizadovgish/coffee-date Apply to be featured on Heal Through Play: https://forms.gle/s49hd3tA2QSpn4Cy6

Thank you to my beautiful amazing sexy gorgeous stunning incredible goddess bff for coming on the podcast -- I can't thank you enough for existing on this planet with me. Love you, angel.
In this episode, I am joined by my friend and fellow mystic high priestess woo-woo woman Linda Addis. We chat about her journey of coming into the frequency of play as a woo-woo babe, her mystical journey into motherhood, our thoughts on indigo/light children, and her magical life manifestations. It's always refreshing to chat with Linda because I feel she is one of the few women that I can genuinely connect with about all the madness, fun, and joy of being a psychic witch bitch -- it feels incredibly validating for me and I hope it does for y'all too! Thank you Linda for coming on the pod -- I have eternal love for you sister.

In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Clay Drinko who published his book for practical improv "Play Your Way Sane," writes for Psychology Today, and studies/reports the scientific findings of the correlation between mental well-being, consciousness, and performing improv comedy. This interview was particularly delightful because we've discussed Dr. Drinko's work on this podcast a few times in season 1, so connecting with him personally and dropping in deeper was a gift. Champ and I discuss memes as a tool for awakening, the mindset of consuming content vs creating, the Great Awakening Map, and so much more. If you aren't already familiar with Champ through his Instagram (@5D_ Awakening_Consciousness), then you've undoubtedly seen his Great Awakening Map floating around conscious circles on the internet. Champ created the Great Awakening Map in 2018 at the end of his 10-year career as a successful visual artist in Los Angeles, CA. Nowadays, he is a devotee of Dzogchen, living full-time at a meditation center in Thailand, while blessing the internet with his wisdom and mastery via memes. Every conversation I have with Champ is a breath of fresh air, especially since he possesses a grounded perspective as a dedicated yogi and meditator of many years. I hope you all find as much value from this episode as I did while recording it (and as I continue to while re-listening). A massive thank you to Champ for taking time out of the hustle and bustle of his yogi meditator lifestyle to chat with me. ;) Connect with Champ Instagram: @5D_Awakening_Consciousness Website: https://www.greatawakeningmap.co/ Connect with Liza Instagram: @lizadovgish Work with Liza: https://calendly.com/lizadovgish/coffee-date Apply to be featured on Heal Through Play: https://forms.gle/s49hd3tA2QSpn4Cy6

Toni Nagy, everyone's favorite movin' and goovin' TikToker, came on the podcast to chat about her journey with creativity and self-expression. I first found Toni on TikTok through her movement videos in which she discussed current events in the world through a dance flow. It was incredibly refreshing to see someone take such a lighthearted approach when discussing heavy topics, and her 280K+ TikTok followers agree! However, Toni's journey as an artist, dancer, and creator started way before her TikToks went viral -- she has been a comedian for many years and has completed a variety of projects in which she pokes fun at the world while making insightful cultural commentary. I absolutely adored speaking with Toni on this episode and loved the ADHD banter that went all over the place. I hope you all give her a follow and watch her hilarious TikToks -- she's definitely a thought leader in my eyes and I'm grateful to be connected with her. Tim Larabee comes on the podcast to share how improv saved his life after being hit by a car that left him with a traumatic brain injury and partial paralysis. My favorite part about this story is when Tim mentions his friends playing improv games with him while he was in the hospital recovering from his injuries and a nurse said she had never seen anyone recover the way Tim did from the kind of injuries he endured. Improv is magic y'all!!! IT IS ALCHEMY. ✨ Tim also talks about the healing aspects of improv for autistic and neurodivergent individuals he has seen as a special needs educator. Dating Coach and all-around light of a human being Rebecca Boatman and I sat down to chat about how she became more heart-centered and playful through her healing journey. Rebecca shares her experience leading her signature "Out in the World Challenges" that incorporate play and improv to create life-changing breakthroughs for people. These challenges break old patterns and limiting beliefs to invite in new ways of being that create space for immense transformation and personal growth. She also dove into her recent experience being invited as a facilitator at a Fit for Service event alongside Aubrey Marcus, the importance of feeling your feelings in order to heal, and breaking free from painful family trauma which allowed her to create her current life of freedom and play.
