250. How to Diagnose a Struggling Etsy Shop

The Handmade Shop

I am going to admit something that sounds a little terrible…I love looking at a struggling Etsy shop. Not because I'm happy that they're not succeeding, but because a slow shop is a puzzle, and finding the one thing holding it back is my favorite part of this whole job. Before I was an Etsy seller and coach, I was a physical therapist, and I still think like one every time I look at a shop. The biggest thing PT taught me is that the spot where you feel the pain is usually not where the problem started. A knee that hurts is often a hip or an ankle issue showing up further down the line. Treat the knee and the patient is back in a few weeks, because nothing actually changed. Your shop works the same way. "I'm not getting sales" is not a diagnosis. It is a symptom. In this episode I walk you through exactly how I trace a slow shop back to the real cause: what I look at before I ever open a single listing, the questions I ask once I get into the data, and how I tell a traffic problem apart from a click problem apart from a conversion problem. By the end you will know how to stop changing random things and start asking the one question that actually leads somewhere: why? What you'll learn:Why "my shop isn't selling" is a symptom, not a diagnosis, and what to look at insteadThe physical therapy lesson that changed how I evaluate every single shopThe very first thing I do when I open a shop (and why it is not what you would expect)The exact questions I ask when someone tells me their traffic droppedThe four questions to keep asking until you get underneath the symptomResources Mentioned:Apply for 1:1 Coaching and diagnose your shop with me: https://sarahjwaggoner.com/coachingRun the free Sales Audit Workbook on your own shop: https://sarahjwaggoner.com/auditpodcast/Your Next Steps:Work with Me: https://sarahjwaggoner.com/etsy-visibility-acceleratorFollow me on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SarahJWaggonerJoin my Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theheartlandcreativeFollow me on Threads: https://www.threads.com/@sarahjwaggonerFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sarahjwaggoner

Today's guest is the genius and gem of a human- Dr. Richard Horowitz! Dr. Richard is board-certified internist, published researcher, pioneer in integrative medicine, and creator of the MSIDS (Multiple Systemic Infectious Disease Syndrome) model. He is also a 2x best selling author and one of the foundational doctor's helping people finally taking their health back from chronic disease. Today we discuss how his MSIDS model provides a systems-based framework for understanding how chronic infections, gut dysfunction, environmental toxins, immune dysregulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and other overlapping stressors contribute to persistent illness- and how you can help diagnose AND treat to get your health back. We also discuss various items such as:-Why some get Lyme and some don't-Why some get long COVID and some don't-What holds people back from healing-The foundations you need to ask yourself when trying to heal your bodySome random nuggets of wisdom in this podcast include:Lyme/Alzheimer's link: First published reversal of Alzheimer's biomarkers in a chronic Lyme patient after 9-week dapsone protocol. Bartonella identified as a major driver of long COVID, neuropsychiatric illness, and immune suppression; transmitted via cat scratches, fleas, mites, spider bites — not only tick bites. Emotional trauma / limbic dysfunction blocks biological recovery; limbic retraining (EMDR, DNRS, Primal Trust) is often required before other treatments become effective. Glutathione depletion enables COVID-19 (and other viruses) to replicate; blocking NF-κB and stimulating NRF2 pathways provided protection during the pandemic. Autism biomarkers (neurofilament light, P-tau) appear in children before symptom onset — same Alzheimer's markers found in adults.

Some podcast conversations stand the test of time, and this is definitely one of them. Originally recorded in 2018 for my previous podcast, It's No Secret with Dr T, this discussion with marketing strategist Patrick McFadden is packed with practical business wisdom that's just as relevant today.Patrick explains why "Rise and Grind" isn't about working longer hours. It's about focusing on meaningful work, bringing value to every interaction, understanding how markets evolve, and building a business around a clear strategy rather than endless activity. We also dive into networking, delegation, measuring results, and why diagnosis should always come before prescription in business.Whether you're growing a podiatry clinic or any service business, this episode will challenge the way you think about marketing, leadership and creating long-term success. For more detailed Show Notes, please visit the Podiatry Legends WebsiteDo you want to make more money in podiatry? If you want to make more money from your podiatry business and have more time off with your family, please visit my website at tysonfranklin.com to learn how I can help you make this a reality. ----

He shares why hiring more salespeople rarely fixes a broken system, what strong sales leadership looks like, and how documented processes, CRM governance, pipeline discipline, and structured onboarding create scalable performance. The conversation also explores the risks of hiring competitors solely for their “black book”, the value of stage-gated sales processes in long-cycle industrial markets, and Bill's experience growing a PE-backed North American business from $180 million to $325 million in revenue while more than doubling its EBIT margin.Key Takeaways• Diagnose the commercial engine before adding sales headcount.• Assess whether sales managers are truly managing, coaching, and forecasting—not simply carrying major accounts.• Build systems that make capable salespeople productive rather than relying on individual heroics.• Use clear stage gates to qualify opportunities early and avoid wasting months on deals that will never close.• Professionalising the leadership team and commercial function can unlock organic growth and support M&A integration.Timestamps00:00 – Introduction to Bill Bell and Chief Outsiders00:52 – The biggest commercial mistake private equity firms make02:17 – Why hiring more salespeople can increase cost, not revenue02:46 – Diagnose, fix the infrastructure, then add capacity03:17 – Four areas of commercial maturity to assess04:46 – What makes an effective sales manager07:03 – How manufacturing companies typically hire sales talent08:00 – The danger of relying on a salesperson's “black book”08:56 – Building a sales system instead of hiring your way to growth09:56 – Four foundations to establish before recruiting sales reps11:24 – What a documented sales process should look like11:53 – Using stage gates in an 18-month industrial sales cycle13:43 – The hidden cost of pursuing customers who will not buy15:40 – Bill's biggest PE-backed growth success story17:34 – Recommended books, masterclasses, and podcasts18:58 – How to contact Bill19:27 – Closing remarksRaw Selection partners with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to secure exceptional executive talent. "Send us a message!""I'm just so busy."It's one of the most common things we hear from salon owners. But being busy and building a business aren't the same thing. In this episode, we revisit one of our favorite leadership frameworks: the Five Modes of Ownership, and explain why so many owners stay stuck working harder instead of building systems that create long-term growth. We discuss the difference between busy work and compounding work, why diagnosing problems matters more than reacting to them, how to know which "mode" your business needs most, and why your future should determine where you spend your time today.Your business should serve you, so that you can serve others. That starts by giving your attention to the work that actually compounds.Key TakeawaysBeing busy isn't the same as building a business.Compounding work creates long-term value. Every business owner must lead in different modes. Diagnose problems before reacting to them. Focus on one type of work at a time. Leadership requires intentional attention. Crisis mode demands calm, not panic. Invisible work often produces the biggest results. Systems reduce future chaos. Your future should determine how you spend today.Time Stamps00:00 — Opening takes + preparing for slow seasons 05:30 — Stop believing manufactured business problems 07:00 — Why owners always feel busy 08:00 — The Five Modes of Ownership refresher 10:00 — Busy work vs. compounding work 11:30 — Operations vs. systems 12:30 — Leadership, strategy, and crisis mode 14:00 — Diagnose before you react 16:00 — Choosing the right leadership hat 18:30 — Why working harder isn't the answer 20:30 — Give each mode your full attention 23:00 — Why focus creates better results 25:00 — Where the Five Modes came from 28:00 — Lessons from navigating a true crisis 31:00 — The invisible work that builds businesses 34:00 — Why business owners need long-term thinking 36:00 — Building tomorrow instead of surviving today 39:00 — Final thoughts on intentional leadershipLinks and Stuff:Our Newsletter Mentoring InquiriesFind more of our things:InstagramHello Hair Pro Website

Deutschland investiert immer weniger. Diese Fakten dokumentiert die McKinsey-Standortstudie „Catalyzing Competitiveness: Where Investment Happens and Why“. In a culture chasing novelty and quick spiritual fixes, many men are left restless, confused, and spiritually vulnerable. Temptation has become the front line of battle — and most don't even realize they're already in it. On this episode of the Must Read Alaska Podcast, we sit down with Kyle Clement, co-founder of Liber Christo and a leading trainer in Catholic deliverance ministry. For over 20 years, Kyle has worked alongside Fr. Chad Ripperger to develop the Liber Christo four-phase protocol — a clear, objective, and authentically Catholic system for addressing suspected diabolical affliction with discipline, diagnostics, and the sacraments at the center. Kyle breaks down the practical framework of Prevent, Diagnose, Cleanse, and Fortify and shows men how to: Spot the “open doors” — victimhood, resentment toward God, curiosity without obedience, and rationalized sin Close those doors through confession, renunciation, daily discipline, and obedience to Church authority Build lasting resilience with virtue training that balances prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance on the foundation of faith, hope, and charity Lead as Catholic men today — with purity as power, clarity under pressure, and the courage to reject “cowardice masquerading as prudence” Kyle also shares what it truly means to be a Catholic man in today's Church and culture, and why returning to Christ as Truth — through prayer, fasting, sacraments, and authority — is the only path to real freedom and strength. Special note: Kyle Clement will be in Alaska in early August 2026 with a flexible schedule to speak statewide on “Preparing Your Soul for Spiritual Combat” and “What It Means to Be a Catholic Man Today.” Watch for event details and bring a friend. Whether you're Catholic, Protestant, or simply a man ready to fight for your soul and family, this episode delivers concrete steps you can start using today. Was sagt der Terminmarkt? Wie viele Backup-Kraftwerke brauchen wir wirklich – und wer bezahlt sie? In this episode of the State of Mind Mental Health Podcast, I sit down with Sherry Shaban, osteopath, certified athletic therapist, and founder of Make Peace With Food, to get to the bottom of something a lot of us struggle with quietly: why we keep ending up back at the same late-night snacking, stress eating, or binge eating patterns no matter how many diets we try. Sherry's own story starts with a car accident at sixteen that ended her athletic career and led her through years of chronic pain and pain medication. That crucible pushed her into exercise science and osteopathy, and years of cycling through calorie counting, Atkins, Paleo, and keto, before she discovered the real driver behind her weekend binges wasn't food. It was her nervous system. We talk through why the diet industry has a ninety three percent failure rate, and why restriction almost always leads to a rebound binge. Then I do something I don't usually do on this show: I hand Sherry my own sleep tracker data, my coffee and sugar habits, and my late-night snacking, and let her walk through my hormone profile live, on air. What she finds in my cortisol, insulin, leptin, and ghrelin patterns will probably sound familiar if you've ever white-knuckled your way through a stressful day and then lost the plot by nine at night. Sherry's approach isn't about more rules. It's what she calls addition before subtraction: instead of cutting things out, you add one small, curious experiment at a time and pay attention to how your body responds. No shame, no six week transformation, just patience and awareness. If you've ever felt like your relationship with food is a personal failing, this conversation offers a more compassionate way to understand what's actually happening in your body — and something real to try this week. Hey Heal Squad! Today, we are so excited to welcome Full House star and comedian Dave Coulier to the podcast, and this is one of those conversations that will make you laugh, make you think, and maybe even change the way you look at your own health. Dave joins us to share an honest update on his health after being diagnosed with not one, but two completely different cancers in less than two years. He opens up about the emotional highs and lows of treatment, the side effects no one prepares you for, and why, through it all, he refused to let cancer take away his sense of humor. In fact, that outlook started long before his diagnosis with one of his closest friends, Bob Saget, whose dark humor helped teach Dave that sometimes laughter really is the best medicine. But this conversation goes far beyond cancer. Together, Maria and Dave get  into why so many of us wait until a health crisis to start paying attention to our bodies and why Dave now believes prevention—not panic—is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. Dave also shares how his diagnosis led him down a rabbit hole of questioning everything—from the food he was eating to the everyday products he was using. That journey eventually inspired AwearMarket, his new marketplace designed to take the guesswork out of finding healthier, less-toxic products for your home and family. One of the most surprising moments? Dave reveals that he had already started cleaning up his diet and reducing inflammation before his cancer diagnosis…which definitely helped his body fight the cancers. It's a powerful reminder that while we can't control everything, the healthy choices we make today are an investment in our future. Enjoy! HEALERS & HEAL LINERS Laughter Really Can Be Medicine: Throughout two cancer diagnoses, Dave made one promise to himself: cancer would never take away his sense of humor. He opens up about how finding moments of joy can be just as important as treating the disease. Small Daily Choices Add Up Over Time: After asking himself, "Why did my body fail me?" Dave began questioning everything—from the foods he ate to the products he used every day. He explains why he believes long-term health is shaped by small, consistent choices and how making gradual changes today can have a lasting impact on your future One Cancer Diagnosis Sparked an Entirely New Mission: That search for answers ultimately inspired AwearMarket, his new marketplace dedicated to helping people make healthier, less-toxic choices without feeling overwhelmed. GLP-1 Side Effects, Gut Microbiome & Brain Health, Toxoplasmosis Risks, and the Dirty Dozen Explained Plasma Acetate Emerges As Key Gut-Brain Messenger In Older Adults A study published in Nature Communications examined how gut bacteria relate to plasma acetic acid, a short-chain fatty acid produced when gut microbes ferment fiber, and found that higher acetate levels tracked with lower triglycerides, higher HDL cholesterol, lower body fat, larger thalamic brain volume, and stronger performance on judgment-related cognitive tasks. Mediation analysis showed acetate acts as a direct link between specific gut bacteria, including Oscillibacter and Coprococcus, and these health outcomes. Host Dave Asprey breaks down why this elevates fiber fermentation, not fermented beverages, as the real lever for gut-brain health, and separates the evidence-backed mechanism from the kombucha-as-shortcut assumption. Diagnoses included anosmia, parosmia, and parageusia, with researchers pointing to GLP-1 receptor activity in the olfactory bulb and other chemosensory pathways as a possible mechanism. Host Dave Asprey unpacks why this signal got buried under muscle loss and gut motility headlines, and what it means for anyone currently on or considering GLP-1 therapy. Ocular toxoplasmosis is the most common intra-ocular infection worldwide, and an estimated 190,000 babies are born with congenital toxoplasmosis each year, concentrated in low-resource regions. Despite the scale, there is still no vaccine and no standard global treatment protocol. Host Dave Asprey explains why common, quiet health threats get chronically underfunded compared to dramatic outbreaks, and what pregnant listeners specifically should know about exposure risk. The data also revealed an inverted-U relationship, with optimal benefits at three to five sessions a week and diminishing or reversed returns at extreme volumes. Host Dave Asprey breaks down why moderate, consistent movement outperforms income as a mental health lever, and why overtraining carries its own psychological cost. The move reflects a broader trend of major consumer-health conglomerates acquiring practitioner-trusted, lab-forward wellness brands. Individuals varied widely in how many of these compounds their gut could actually process, and in mouse studies, strawberries reduced colitis activity only in mice with an intact microbiome. We are adding tools to our instructor toolbox today with another installation of Understanding Diagnoses. This episode is a little different, we aren't going to talk about a specific diagnosis but rather something that we see most commonly as part of neurodivergent diagnoses. Stimming. Stimming is short hand for “self-stimulating” – it's a natural and instinctive behavior that people engage in to regulate their sensory experience. Things like hand flapping, rocking, repetitive vocalizations. Stimming is a normal thing, but what happens when it interferes with our ability to participate safely in mounted sessions? She spent six years hiding her autism diagnosis from everyone — peers, friends, even herself. Then she built a neuroscience-backed video game that's changing how neurodivergent students understand who they are. Vanessa Castañeda Gill the founder of Social Cipher, an SEL video game platform designed by and for neurodivergent people, developed in partnership with the LEGO Foundation. Her work sits at the intersection of neuroscience research and lived autistic experience — and she's one of the few people in edtech who has both. She was diagnosed autistic at 14, went on to become a published neuroscience researcher, and turned her personal story into a scalable tool now reaching classrooms across the country. 80% of school avoidance students are neurodivergent. That single stat reframes every conversation you've been having about "disengaged" kids in your building. Your neurodivergent students aren't checking out because they don't care — they're burning out from performing normalcy in a system that was never designed for how their brains actually work. This episode is a practical roadmap for principals who want to close the gap between their inclusion vision and what neurodivergent students are actually experiencing every single day.

Does perspective impact the path through cancer? For Rochelle Forrest Hankins cancer became a crossroads—where fear and faith diverged, and her choice defined the journey. In this powerful episode of Metabolic Matters, host Christina Mason sits down with Rochelle Forrest Hankins, a registered nurse, educator, author, and four-time breast cancer survivor, and Dr. Yvonne Teverbaugh, an expert in integrative and metabolic oncology.Rochelle shares her extraordinary journey after being diagnosed with both estrogen-positive and triple-negative breast cancer. Despite multiple recurrences and a prognosis that often leaves patients feeling powerless, Rochelle chose a different path—one rooted in faith, education, self-advocacy, and holistic healing.Determined to understand the deeper factors influencing her health, Rochelle partnered with Dr. Yvonne to explore an integrative approach that extended far beyond conventional cancer treatment. Together, they addressed metabolic health, nutrition, sleep, emotional trauma, stress, spirituality, circadian rhythms, and the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit. What makes this conversation especially meaningful is the relationship between Rochelle and Dr. Yvonne. Their partnership demonstrates what can happen when a patient becomes an active participant in their healing journey and is supported by a team that sees the whole person—not just the diagnosis.Throughout the episode, they discuss triple-negative breast cancer, immunotherapy, metabolic oncology, psychoneuroendocrinoimmunology (PNEI), codependency, trauma, and the importance of building a personalized healing strategy. Rochelle candidly shares how cancer became one of her greatest teachers, helping her establish healthier boundaries, deepen her faith, and reconnect with herself in ways she never imagined.More than a story about surviving cancer, this episode is a powerful reminder that healing is not a single treatment, protocol, or decision. It is an ongoing journey of awareness, courage, resilience, and learning to trust your inner wisdom. As Rochelle shares, sometimes our greatest challenges become the very thing that teaches us how to truly live.Connect with our Guests:Rochelle Forrest Hankins, RN, MSM, LEWebsite: https://rochelle.world/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/forresthankins/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/rochelleforrest LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rochelle-forrest-hankins-8b516337 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@RochelleWorld Books: AmazonYvonne Teverbaugh, DSc., ND, PhD, MSHN Website: thenaturalpathtowellness.net About Your Host: Christina Mason is a lifelong storyteller, educator, and truth-seeker whose journey—from music and teaching to entrepreneurship—has always been guided by curiosity. In this episode, Dr. Steve Vargo sits down with Luke Mathers — optometrist, author, and stress resilience expert — for a conversation that challenges one of the most common assumptions in healthcare: that what you're feeling is burnout. Luke spent 27 years in clinical optometry before following a personal health experience down a rabbit hole of evolutionary biology, neuroscience, and human behavior. What he discovered reshaped how he thinks about stress, exhaustion, and why so many high-achieving professionals feel stuck even when everything looks fine on the outside. Steve and Luke explore Luke's framework for three distinct states that often get lumped together under the burnout label — burned out, bored out, and checked out — and why getting the diagnosis wrong means the treatment will fail. They also dig into the business case for human connection, the neuroscience of why presence in the exam room changes patient outcomes, and what it actually means to recover on purpose rather than just waiting for things to slow down. This conversation goes beyond stress management tips. It's about understanding what's really happening beneath the exhaustion — and finding your way back to the work that gave you a sense of purpose in the first place.

Professor Game Podcast | Rob Alvarez Bucholska chats with gamification gurus, experts and practitioners about education

Get the free Core Drives in the Wild guide, behavioral design applied to real products, with one real-world example in your inbox each day: professorgame.com/WildCD Episode Summary Rob breaks down why disconnecting on vacation is so hard for driven people, and why it is a motivation problem rather than a willpower one. He maps the specific Octalysis Core Drives that keep high achievers tied to work during a break, including Core Drive 2 (progress addiction), Core Drive 8 (FOMO and Black Hat urgency), and Core Drive 1 (the mission needs me trap). Drawing on his own routine of leaving the phone at the apartment near the beach, he shows how to name each drive and switch off its trigger before the break starts. Listeners learn a pre-break diagnostic and how to design time off the same way they would design a user's exit from an engagement loop. About the Host Rob Alvarez is Head of Engagement Strategy, Europe at The Octalysis Group (TOG), a leading gamification and behavioral design consultancy. A globally recognized gamification strategist and TEDx speaker, he founded and hosts Professor Game, the #1 gamification podcast, and has interviewed hundreds of global experts. He designs evidence-based engagement systems that drive motivation, loyalty, and results, and teaches LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and gamification at top institutions including IE Business School, EFMD, and EBS University across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Key Takeaways Driven people stay tied to work on vacation because their Core Drives keep firing in the background. This is a motivation issue, which is why pure willpower so often fails to deliver real rest. Core Drive 2 (Development and Accomplishment) shows up as progress addiction. With no momentum at work, a break can feel like your progress is being trumped, which pulls you back to the phone to make something move. Core Drive 8 (Loss and Avoidance) is Black Hat motivation built on FOMO. The fear that something breaks, or that everyone else is still shipping, creates urgency and pushes you to check in even when nothing is wrong. Core Drive 1 (Epic Meaning and Calling), the sense that the mission needs you, is the noble sounding trap. It can justify sacrificing rest you have earned, so naming it is what lets you stop it from firing back. The fix is to design your break the way you would design a user's exit from an engagement loop: kill the notifications, remove the triggers (Rob leaves his phone at the apartment), and push yourself out instead of staying half in. A real emergency that truly needs you is rare, roughly 0.1 percent of the time. Plan ahead, brief your team on what actually counts as an emergency, and trust them to handle the other 99.9 percent without you. If you are treating the wrong problem, you are spending time, money, and energy in the wrong place. And that is costing you occupancy. When residents are not moving in, the first reaction for many senior living owners is, "I need more marketing."But what if marketing isn't actually the problem? Here is the truth, and I say this with love...most of the time, it is not a marketing problem. It is a diagnosis problem. And in this episode, I am walking you through exactly how to tell the difference. We are playing detective today. Think of it like a doctor diagnosing a patient. The symptom might look the same on the surface, but the cause? Completely different. Here is what we are covering:If nobody is calling — that is a marketing problem. If they are calling but not the right fit — that is a messaging problem. If they are visiting but not moving in — that is a visit experience problem. If they are disappearing after the tour — that is a follow-up problem. If they keep choosing someone else — that is a pricing or positioning problem.Five different diagnoses. Five different solutions. If you are doing everything and still not moving people in, I want to help you figure out why.The VIP First Impressions and Visit Audit is where I come in — virtually — as if I am a prospective family member. I walk through your community with you, ask the questions a family would ask, and show you exactly where the gaps are and how to close them. You get a recording of our session, a written report, and a clear picture of what is working and what is not. This is not an audit to catch you doing something wrong. It is an audit to help you do everything right. As always — take what you need, share what helps, and come back for more.Send questions for Ask Me Anything episodes!Support the showLooking for a mentor to receive more tips on growing occupancy and revenue? Join the Facebook Group for FREE monthly trainings .  Click Here For FB GroupSubscribe to the Start With Occupancy YouTube channel to interact with me on weekly live chats and ask questions in real-time  Click Here For YT PageBookmark the Impact Hub website to your browser for continual updates, new resources and LIVE workshops  available to you. Attention is one of the most powerful currencies in business. And most people waste it by talking too much. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why focusing on the client is one of the fastest ways to build trust, close deals, and create stronger relationships. Let's be real… If your sales call is all about your company… Your awards… Your story… Your revenue… And your ego… Your prospect is already checking out. In this episode, you'll learn: Why prospects care more about their pain than your company history How empathy becomes a powerful closing tool Why surgical questions create stronger sales conversations How active listening helps you tailor your offer and close with more authority The truth is simple: People want to feel understood. They do not want to be talked at. They do not want a generic pitch. They do not want a scripted monologue. They want to know that you understand their exact problem and can solve it. High-level operators do not try to be the most interesting person in the room. They become the most interested. They ask better questions. They listen closely. They take notes. They mirror the client's pain back with precision. Because when someone feels truly heard… Price becomes less important. Trust gets stronger. And the deal becomes easier to close. Stop making the conversation about you. Focus on the client. Diagnose the pain. Solve the problem. And keep leveling up. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Together, Sam and Bill explore -what is happening in the inner lives of young people today — especially in a world where diagnoses, social media, algorithms, and AI can offer instant explanations for pain that may still need time, relationship, and embodied attention to fully understand. -the rise of diagnostic identity - the difference between “I have anxiety” and “I'm feeling anxious" - why he approaches young people with curiosity rather than correction - the appeal of AI and social media as sources of validation, particularly for adolescents who may already be biologically primed toward threat perception, self-consciousness, and emotional intensity. https://www.wholeself.health
