(March 5, 2025) – Give 270, an Elizabethtown nonprofit, has announced that a rare bottle of Blanton's: Frankfort Bicentennial 200 will be the grand prize given away during their latest 20/20 Unicorn raffle, set for Wednesday, April 2. Released in 1986 to celebrate the official bicentennial of Frankfort, Kentucky, this limited-edition Blanton's was bottled at exactly 86 proof. It holds the distinction of being the earliest special release of Blanton's. In this one-time release, a unique stopper was used, featuring the Kentucky State Capitol on one side and the State of Kentucky on the other, marking the only time the classic horse and jockey design was not used. Notably, the bottle and box are free of any "Blanton's" branding. Instead, the label reads, "The Bicentennial Distilling Company, Frankfort, Kentucky." The official “Frankfort 200 Bicentennial” logo is printed on the bottle itself with no paper label. This same logo was used throughout Frankfort for its official marketing material. This release marked the first time a Blanton's bottle did not feature a paper label.
