Woohoo - 42 has been my lucky number since I was a kid. I feel like this is reflected in this episode because I am so utterly fortunate to have magnetized the people you'll hear from here. I have lucky Jupiter in the 3rd House of teaching meetups and my Part of Fortune in the 11th House of constellating people with shared dreams. I am blessed when it comes to magnetizing the right people! You know this if you join any of my groups. I bring in folks who are smart, creative, critical thinkers who are also old souls seeking something more mystical and heart-led from their lives. I bring in the clever and the witty, the earnest and the authentic, the kind and the good. I am so so so lucky. Welcome to our "reunion show" with some of the cohort from last year's Charting Your Course. Thank you Pisces Sun Lauren Margolies, Scorpio Sun Mariola Rosario, Moon to Moon art creator & Leo Sun Angela George, Virgo Sun Rebecca Padgett, and Moon to Moon music composer & Pisces Sun Jonathan Koe for joining me to reminisce and share words of love for your experience of the container. Lauren, Mariola, Rebecca, and Jonathan are now practicing astrologers in the public sphere. Woohoo! Check out their voices! Reach out to them for readings! Angela is deeply involved with astrology as my business partner, and she also creates ritual products based on her knowledge of astrological magic. Stay tuned for more on that in the months ahead. Listen to the episode to learn about ways that an embodied, intuitive approach to astrology can change your life. Listen to the episode to feel inspired by these magical people. Listen to the episode to attune to whether or not this year's Charting Your Course will be the kind of investment and leap you want right now. Because it is an investment. And it is a leap. And it's worth it if you're resonating with the words we share. Thank you thank you thank you to these 5 individuals for giving Moon to Moon your time and beautiful energy. Thank you also to all of you in the cohort from last year who are listening. We felt you with us! And thank you for everyone who has already said Yes to CYC and to those who will soon. Registration closes Sunday night, Aug 29. We begin on September 1! LEARN ABOUT CHARTING YOUR COURSE HERE! Ready to enroll now? Jump straight HERE.

Scott and Ace loved having Jimmy Tingle on and hearing stories of the Ding Ho Comedy Club and the amazing list of comics who performed there. Last year there was a Ding Ho Reunion show on zoom to raise money for Barry Crimmins wife Helen. Well that show is being rebroadcast to help Helen with her medical expenses. Go to www.jimmytingle.com to get your ticket to watch an unbelievable show and help out a member of the Boston comedy community.
As someone says goodbye to "Fashion Is Your Business", the original hosts Marc, Pavan, and Rob reflect on six-and-a-half years of FIYB, including: how it started, international travels, memorable guests, live audience experiences, behind the scenes tales, when they realized the show was really a hit, the origins of guest snacks on the show, how the podcast impacted government, entrepreneurs, and inspired a business, and much more. Plus, what's next? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Lori has a few dad jokes to celebrate Father's Day! Lori, Julia, and Grant give their thoughts on the first part of the Kardashian reunion show. We can't wait for part 2. Thanks for tuning in. Ever wonder how hard it is to teach during a pandemic. On this episode I have a great discussion with my Sis Michele. She is a drama teacher and has recently had hip replacement surgery... (we talk about that too). It's very interesting the new and creative ways teachers have had to change the way they do everything from communication, motivation, holding kids accountable, being accountable to administration...trying to "teach" which is the whole job in the word. It's so impressive to see how everyone has learned to adapt in an ever changing world. This is a fun talk. Yes the first part is about being a teacher, but we talk about the Friends reunion show on HBO/MAX, and what we expected vs what was. The roll Friends had in our lives and how the show was similar to our own friends, and our own personalities. This was a blast to do, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/joshua-peek/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/joshua-peek/support

In their first show from the same studio in over a year, Joe, Becky, and Andrew digest headlines from the long weekend: a cyber attack on a meat producer, a retail crypto trading frenzy in China, and airlines, back on the flight paths. Congress may be on recess, but CNBC’s Eamon Javers reports that the Hill is still abuzz with infrastructure bill negotiations. The New York Times columnist Tom Friedman discusses government spending and politics around the world, from China’s Covid-19 origin story to Israel’s and Palestine’s impact on the American Democratic Party. Plus, on the other side of the pandemic, shoppers are back in stores. Shopify President Harley Finkelstein talks entrepreneurship and says a vaccinated public won’t hinder the e-commerce boom.

Jennifer Kasten, MD, MSc, MSc is a practicing pediatric pathologist with degrees in medicine from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, infectious disease epidemiology (CID) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a year’s postgraduate work in the mathematical modeling of infectious disease at Oxford University, and a master’s in the history of medicine and science, also from Oxford University. That’s a lot of school. Given her education, and pithy sense of humor, she created a Facebook page to clarify COVID-related issues, first for friends and family, and then some posts went viral and she has turned into a phenomenon. If you don’t follow her, you should. This is part 2 of the episode with Jennifer Kasten, MD, MSc, MSc. Part 1 was what we’ve learned about COVID in the last year and this episode is all the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. We discussed when we can expect full FDA approval, rather than emergency use and what that entails, how she arrived at the declaration (made during the episode) that she believes the vaccines will last 2 years, why she thinks the vaccines provide sterilizing immunity, potential pathophysiology of thrombosis after the J&J and AZ vaccines, how the mRNA vaccines work (apparently muscles are just for show – not immune responses), and an update on the pediatric vaccines. This episode starts out as a discussion with Andy Beatman about his upcoming release. But really, I recorded this to assuage a selfish need I had of bringing the original RealRadio crew back together: it worked! Well almost, we weren't able to connect the dots with Del and Miranda but they were with us in spirit. Zoom didn't do justice with showing our studio chemistry so we included some snippets from our WTBU studio days! Listen & share, it's Brooklyn way!

If you don’t follow her, you should. We recorded two episodes. The first was updates on COVID – what we’ve leaned in the 11 months since last we spoke. We discussed the new variants, and how this affects R naught, long-term sequelae, long hauler syndrome, and which countries handled the virus best and why. Somehow we even get into Federalism. Ever wonder why 2 people can be exposed to the same pathogen (bacteria, virus, fungus) and have 2 completely different experiences? Why is it that one person can feel under the weather for a day or 2 and yet another be violently ill for weeks or even die from the same illness? There is no time better than this to have a discussion on “how do we get sick?”There are 2 distinct camps when it comes to why people get sick:Louis Pasture came up with the concept Germ Theory which states our bodies are sterile environments and when exposed to a pathogen, we get sick.Antoine Bechamp's theory states that if we are exposed to a pathogen the severity of our illness will be dictated by our health status… thereby coming up with the Terrain Theory.Listen to todays episode when the 3 doctors discuss both theories and their thoughts on each. Also what does it mean for all of us navigating this particular time, especially now that we are moving into “cold and flu season”
