In this episode, Virginia helps us navigate conversations and set realistic expectations when you are being vulnerable with your loved one - so that your words have meaning without feeling too painful or scary! Virginia also shares her personal story of military service, detailing the struggles she faced and how they affected not only herself but also members of her family. She discusses ways that spouses can best support their veterans if they begin experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Virginia also provides crisis intervention and evidence-based treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Moral Injury, Depression, Combat Operational Stress, and other diagnoses.
