According to the Quran there are good and evil Djinn, but regardless of the side they choose they are still the descendants of Iblis, also known as, Shaitan (Satan). The UnicornUnicorns are magical mythical creatures that have fascinated mankind for centuries. To this day, it seems we are bombarded with unicorn imagery everywhere we go. We have emojis, t-shirts, key chains, stuffed animals, andeven drinks named after them. In ancient times, the first mention of them was said to have appeared in Mesopotamian artwork and later referenced in mythologies across the world in places including China, India and Japan. What comes to mind when you hear the words voodoo or hoodoo? Is it witchcraft? Dark forces? Voodoo Dolls and/or possession? It wouldn't surprise me if those are the first thoughts that come to mind. Throughout time and across the world, the mention of shapeshifters has always been around. The concept of beings who are able to transform into animals is certainly nothing new. In the Native-American lore there exist such beings known as Skinwalkers. These malevolent creatures are known to have the ability to shapeshift at will into animals such as wolves, coyotes and foxes to simply name a few. Legend of Bloody MaryAlmost everyone has heard about the legend of Bloody Mary which can be summoned through your bathroom mirror. It a very popular "game" to play amongst children especially during sleep overs. Legend has it though, that if you are brave enough to go through with this ritual she will appear to you in the reflection of your mirror. Not only will she show herself to you, but she also has the ability to scratch your face, drive people to the point of insanity and in the most severe of cases kill. The question one might wonder is why is she so angry and aggressive? Who is she? In this episode we will go over 3 possible candidates who are rumored to be the real Mary as well as go over the significance of the elements that compose the ritual.Malleus Maleficarum/Witch's Mark Throughout history witchcraft has always been perceived as an evil practice. It is an artform only practiced and/or performed by those who dwell in sin. As society "progressed" there came about precautions that one could look to in order to protect them from the witches' dark arts. So it was handy for both the government and church to have a sort of guide/manual that one could use to convict women of being witches. It was then where the Malleus Maleficarum was created and introduced. This book offered ways in how to identify, interrogate and convict the witches of their time. The Pope's ExorcistFather Gabriele Amorth was without doubt the most famous exorcist of the modern era. As he was both controversial and known as the Pope's Exorcist. He advocated for the necessity of exorcisms and by his account had performed over 100,000 of them. In this episode we will go over a little bit of his journey that led him to the path of becoming the Pope's Exorcist and we will go over what defines an exorcism and the different types that the Catholic Church acknowledges. Is Time An Illusion? Is time an illusion? There are several different ways we can approach this question. We can look at mythology into the stories of Kronos, also known as Saturn and Father Time, as well as the Hindu Goddess Kali, who ruled over power, destruction and time. Which can then prompt us into looking at the Hindu belief of the Kali Yuga, the fourth and last world age in a Yuga cycle that deals with sin and destruction. Perhaps we might be more inclined to take a look at time in a more scientific manner through Einstein's theory of relativity. Or to better help us understand the concept of time we can take the Esoteric approach, which happens to be my favorite. In any case, the short answer to whether or not time is an illusion is both yes and no. Listen and join us to go down this profound rabbit hole as we explore the topic of time. The Fibonacci Sequence The Fibonacci Sequence is a series of numbers that are a result from adding the sum to the preceding number. For example 0+1=1; 1+1=2; 1+2=3; 2+3=5; 3+5=8; 5+8=13 and so on. The Golden Ratio is when we divide those Fibonacci numbers (Ex: 5/3= 1.6 and/or 8/5=1.6) to get that ratio of 1:1.6. When applied as a growth factor it creates a "Golden Spiral" and creates sacred geometry. It can be found everywhere in the universe, you cannot escape it! Yugas When it comes to the subject of time, you have the Western point of view and you have the Eastern point of view. In the west the majority of people perceive time as liner; meaning you have a past, present and future. In the East, time is viewed in terms of cycles in the human collective consciousness. Therefore, in Hinduism the idea of time and eternity are broken down into four (4) cycles known as the Yugas. The first and longest lasting cycle is known as the Satya Yuga, followed by Treta Yuga, next Dwapar Yuga and lastly the fourth and shortest cycle known as the Kali Yuga. In the first part of the episode we will be discussing Archangel Azrael, better known to many as the angel of death. We will go over his story of how he came to be the angel of death, all the different ways he is depicted and portrayed, and what he is tasked to do. Is he really a merciless angel who claims the lives of humankind and makes them pay for all their wrong doings? Or is he a benevolent and kind angel who helps people who are dying crossover? In the second portion of the episode we will be discussing the taboo topic of Necromancy. There are two forms of necromancy; one form involves actually raising the dead and the other involves communicating with spirits. This is when speaking in the traditional definitions of necromancy. Although, now days it is considered part of black magic practices, it was not always the case. Many part took in these practices to obtain knowledge of the past, present, and future. The topic of death can make many people feel uncomfortable and in most cases were are shielded from it even though it is a natural occurrence. We embalm bodies and put make-up on the dead all to give the appearance that they are simply "sleeping" peacefully. To many other cultures this practice may seem strange, but what about the traditions done in the Victorian era? What about post-mortem photography? Or the annual cleansing of bones in Mexico? In the first section of the episode we will talk about Joseph Campbell who was an American author, but was also well known as one of the greatest mythologist in the 20th century. He noticed that all myths shared a common pattern which he coined as, "The Myth of the Hero's Journey". Along with psychologist Carl Jung, Campbell believed that the reason such similarities between cultures separated between space and time arose was because they emerged from the collective unconscious. Here, we will go over the 12 traditional steps of the Hero's Journey by using the example of movie Doctor Strange. It does contain spoilers, but listen anyway if you haven't seen the movie and perhaps you'll watch it with a different perspective. In the second portion of the episode we will talk about the dark feminine. The 7th Hermetic Principle, The Law of Gender, teaches us that all things have a masculine and feminine element. Within the feminine energy, The Law of Polarity teaches us that things are dual. There is a light feminine energy and a dark feminine energy. However, there are many misconceptions about what the dark feminine energy is. In this episode, we will discuss what those are and go over some of the figures in myths and religion such as Lilith, Kali and Santa Muerte and how they embody that specific archetype. Lastly, the dark masculine, like the dark feminine archetype has also been misconstrued. Many believe that the dark masculine is filled with "toxic" traits or that he is evil and/or a villain when in fact he is not. The dark masculine does embody the traits of being assertive, dominant, aggressive, sexually confident, grounded, logical, intellectual, can produce and provide. The traits previously mentioned are not "bad" when they are balanced and directed towards wanting to accomplish certain self-imposed goals. One must learn to embrace both sides of the masculine energy. Although, the light masculine is usually more accepted by society, it can also be destructive when it is not balanced. In this episode we will be talking all about magic(k) and that's magick with a "K"! Lastly, we'll talk about sympathetic magick as it is perhaps the most commonly used form of magick as it consists of the usage of correspondences, symbolism and rituals. Many practitioners who are starting out tend to overlook the step of protection because they want to immediately jump right in into performing spells and rituals, but it should be one of the first things we know to learn. We deal with "negative" energies (unwanted energies) on a daily basis and when you do spiritual work or energy work we will inevitably encounter unwanted entities. So how can we protect ourselves? Well, there are many ways and approaches to do this and we will be covering this in the first segment of the episode. In the second part of the episode we will be going over the magick system of Chaos. There are many systems out there for practitioners to follow such as: Planetary Magick, Elemental Magick, Ceremonial Magick, and Necromancy Magick. However, Chaos Magick differs in the sense that it does not follow specific traditions or beliefs and it is more results driven. This episode is broken into 3 separate topics. In the first segment we will go over the four degrees of demonic possession. We will talk about how an infestation can lead to a possession. We will also explain the differences between an infestation, oppression, obsession, and possession are. In the second segment of the show, we discuss the different classifications of demons by German bishop Peter Binsfeld. These 7 deadly sins are labeled as such because it is said that by committing anyone of these sins, not only are you consciously aware of your actions, but you are willingly choosing to commit them. By doing so, you are therefore, knowingly and willingly severing your connection to God. However, did you know that each of these sins can also be associated to a specific demon? Whether you believe in the 7 deadly sins or not, I am certain you have already committed at least one of these sins and can then be said you have been successfully influenced by one of these demons. Lastly, in the last segment we will go over Baal. This demon king is no stranger to the occultist communities as he is the first principal spirit in the Ars Goetia. He is known to rule in the East and known to rule over 66 legions of infernal spirits. Baal is also depicted in Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal, as a creature having spider legs and three heads those being: a cat, a man and a toad.
