Gunter Swoboda explores the concept of Kali Yuga from Hindu cosmology as a powerful lens for understanding modern civilizational and psychological conditions.Often described as the “Age of Strife,” Kali Yuga offers a framework for examining societal fragmentation, declining trust, the pursuit of status and wealth, and the growing sense of disconnection many people experience today. This episode explores how ancient wisdom traditions anticipated these challenges and what practices can help individuals cultivate resilience, meaning, and renewal in turbulent times.Key Topics• Kali Yuga as a civilizational cycle• The psychological impact of living in an age of strife• The role of the masculine introject in modern culture• The influence of the Manosphere and decline narratives• Renewal, resilience, and the cyclical nature of history• Practices for navigating uncertainty and cultivating meaningSound Bites“Kali Yuga means the age of strife.”“Wealth becomes the primary measure of worth.”“Every era tends to imagine itself as in decline.”Inside This Episode• Exploring the concept of Kali Yuga• Understanding civilizational cycles and decline narratives• The psychological consequences of an age of strife• The masculine introject through the lens of Kali Yuga• The appeal of Manosphere ideology in uncertain times• Renewal and the cyclical nature of history• Dharmic practices for modern life• Building honesty, community, and relational depth• Finding meaning during periods of social disruptionResourcesMahabharata https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MahabharataBhagavad Purana https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PuranaMarcus Aurelius' Meditations https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MeditationsGratitudeWe want to extend a huge thank you to our listeners in Olney (OHL-nee) and Silver Spring for bringing Maryland to #7 on the Top 10 USA listeners list. And to our Global Listeners, we extend our gratitude to our listeners in London and Caerphilly (kaar-fill-ee) for bringing the UK up to #9 on our global listeners list!CONGRATULATIONS!! you made the Top Listeners List.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/inspire-change-with-gunter--3633478/support.PatreonIf this episode resonates with you and you'd like to go deeper into practical exercises and guided reflection, Gunter offers extended self-development resources and exercises through our Patreon community: www.patreon.com/inspirechangeSponsorDistil UnionThis episode of Inspire Change with Gunter is brought to you by Distil Union, creators of beautifully designed, functional everyday carry accessories that help bring organization, simplicity, and intention into your daily life.Distil Union blends craftsmanship with thoughtful design to help you carry what matters most — without the clutter.
I have noticed that in the Kali Yuga, although the last pillar supposedly is truthfulness, that seems to have been eroding quite quickly. I have noticed, however, that oftentimes people make public statements in a political setting, but then, when they're under deposition, they completely change their story because they know that in deposition under oath, you're liable for telling the truth and can be held accountable for it. Well, those brave souls who are accepting initiation are putting themselves under scrutiny. Freedom requires responsibility. rāga-dveṣa-vimuktais tu viṣayān indriyaiś caran ātma-vaśyair vidheyātmā prasādam adhigacchati Kṛṣṇa says in the Bhagavad Gītā (BG 2.64), "If you want to be free, you have to take responsibility. You have to be vigilant to maintain freedom." Supposedly, one of our statesmen—although it may be apocryphal—said this about maintaining freedom in democracy: It requires vigilance. So today, as you take your vows, you're making a stand against the eons of living in darkness and prevaricating in speech, and taking the path of the saints. mahat-sevāṁ dvāram āhur vimuktes tamo-dvāraṁ yoṣitāṁ saṅgi-saṅgam mahāntas te sama-cittāḥ praśāntā vimanyavaḥ suhṛdaḥ sādhavo ye Those who follow the saints, Ṛṣabhadeva (SB 5.5.2) says can enter into the door of liberation by following the footsteps of the great souls. So the chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa is what the great liberated souls do and what they advocate for. And today, when you take vows in front of the devotees, in front of Śrīla Prabhupāda and Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta, in front of your guru-varga, then you're taking responsibility for your advancement. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://vaisesikadasayatra.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://thefourquestionsbook.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

The only qualification for sincerely approaching the Lord is that one is akiñcana, meaning that one feels, "I don't have any qualification." Helplessness is our main qualification. In Satya-yuga, because people have such acumen for meditation—they can remain in trance for hundreds, if not thousands of years without budging—they take shelter of that. Although the Holy Name is prominent always in every yuga, the denizens of Satya-yuga then, because of distraction by the mode of goodness, become self-reliant. As is mentioned in the purport here, in Kali-yuga, we have a great advantage, and that is our disadvantage. Kali-yuga, is mentioned in the very beginning of the Bhāgavatam (SB 1.1.10), as you all know: prāyeṇālpāyuṣaḥ sabhya kalāv asmin yuge janāḥ mandaḥ sumanda-matayo manda-bhāgyā hy upadrutāḥ As mentioned by Sūta Goswāmī at the outset of the Bhāgavatam in discussion with the sages, Kali-yuga is a disadvantageous age for meditation or for performing proper sacrifice. After all, the Bhāgavatam mentions that the sages had tried to perform the sacrifice, but they were getting only smoke. I've seen that in some ISKCON fire yajñas! Not only that, they're addicted to scrolling in the age of Kali-yuga, it's the prediction given 5,000 years ago that everyone would have a crooked neck because they can only sit like that, or walk like that, or sleep like this. (22:44) Mandaḥ sumanda-matayo means they have really bad ideas—really bad, stupid stuff. Manda-bhāgyā hy upadrutāḥ—and they're unlucky; there is no good fortune for the people of Kali-yuga. So, the sages are gathered for that sacrifice to find out how to do the highest good for these people who are going to be assailed by all these distractions in the Kali-yuga. And this Jīva Goswāmī also points out in his Bhakti-sandarbha, is one of the qualifications for people in Kali-yuga: it is their disqualification. When somebody is so disadvantaged that they can't fend for themselves, oftentimes the government will give a dispensation. Kṛṣṇa also gives a dispensation for those who are wholly unqualified to take to any other process. So, in Satya-yuga people are self-reliant. As the ages progress—Tretā, Dvāpara—there are adjustments to the mode of worship. In Satya, they're self-reliant, they're all paramahaṁsas, and they're fully equipped to just meditate. Then in Tretā-yuga, we have the fire to meditate upon and put grains into the fire; at least it's a form people can look at. And then in Dvāpara-yuga, with the installation of Deities, you need a big temple as the main object of vision in the whole town, where you walk in and see the Deity. But in Kali-yuga, people are iconoclasts. They don't want the form of the Lord; they try to break the form of the Lord, and they deny the form of the Lord. So, Kṛṣṇa comes in the most accommodating form possible. This is mentioned in Rūpa Goswāmī's verses about the Holy Name, when he says, "vācyaṁ vācakam ity udeti bhavato nāma svarūpa-dvayaṁ." Vācyaṁ vācakam— there is the name and the named. The name of Kṛṣṇa and the word Kṛṣṇa that designates Kṛṣṇa. He said these are the same, right? No, that's not true. He says although we say they're one thing... ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://vaisesikadasayatra.blogspot.com/ vatam #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing
The world is in the final stage of Kali Yuga, otherwise known as the stage of delusional dharma, in which the global collapse of civilization is the goal. But the next stage will be the Kingdom of Heaven, so it is important to achieve resonance with Sat Yuga before the end. This is also the end of the age of the ego, now in a state of fragility, hopelessness, negativity, oscillating narratives, and complete lack of rapport. The heat is being turned up at every level of reality. The only way out (to come out fully baked from God's oven) is to dam the mind and stop all thoughts that are otherwise damning. Taking seriously that one does not exist as an ego and surrendering the mind to open the heart are the only ways to reveal the value of repentance. It takes strength and intelligence to make possible a true conversion, a turning towards God to be repossessed. May we all rest in God's Re-Penthouse.

We're moving through a collective threshold where old identities fall away fast, and what looks like loss can be the start of real alignment. We name the cycles behind this moment and ground it in nervous system regulation, shadow work, and the full-spectrum feminine that knows how to dismantle what's dead and build what's true. • cyclical time across traditions and why transitions feel like fire • Kali Yuga, Fourth Turning, and the sense of collective acceleration • nervous system capacity as the limiter on visibility, love, leadership, and change • somatic healing and attachment patterns shaping what feels safe to receive • Jung's individuation and shadow work speeding up in collective crisis • becoming a container who can hold uncertainty without collapsing • Grof's spiritual emergency and why support beats suppression • regulation as what makes sustained awakening possible • reclaiming the feminine as creation and sacred destruction • three integration anchors: name what is dying, tend your nervous system, find your people • reflection questions to deepen grief, power, and community I have a very small favor to ask you if you are enjoying these episodes, if you are receiving value from them, if you could just take a quick moment to leave a review as it really helps the podcast grow and reach more people. If something in you said yes while you were listening today, if you felt recognized somewhere in this conversation, come to the masterclass on May 20th, because this is the work that we are going to be doing together, not just intellectually, but in your body where change actually lives. In this satsang, Shunyamurti explains the deeper spiritual meaning of the global crises unfolding in our time. What appears outwardly as Armageddon is, for the yogi, an inner battle: the destruction of karma, the surrender of the ego, and the restoration of dharma. As the world moves toward the culmination of Kali Yuga, the real task is not to become absorbed in the chaos of the phenomenal plane but to keep the heart on fire with love for God and remain rooted in the Self.

Srimad Bhagavatam [Bhagwat Katha] – Part 48 | Swami Mukundananda In this concluding episode, Swamiji narrates the final earthly pastimes of Shree Krishna and the profound message embedded in the end of His avatar. After meeting the Vrajwasis at Kurukshetra and completing His divine mission, Krishna prepared for His departure. The curse upon the Yadu dynasty unfolded, leading to their destruction — a divine arrangement made by Krishna Himself before leaving the world. Before withdrawing His pastimes, Krishna imparted the sacred wisdom of the Uddhav Gita, teaching detachment, surrender to the Guru, and the supremacy of bhakti. He reminded us that whatever the mind repeatedly contemplates, it becomes attached to — therefore, it must be fixed upon God. His final instructions emphasize devotion as the highest path in the age of Kaliyuga. Krishna's departure was not an end but a divine transition. Dwarka was submerged, Kaliyuga began, and yet His eternal message remains. Swamiji explains that while the Lord's visible form may withdraw, His presence lives forever in the hearts of devotees. The avatar concluded, but the path of bhakti continues to guide souls toward eternal truth and bliss. Rev. Dr. Swami Bhajanananda Saraswati begins a new series of discourses on the "Principles of Bhakti Yoga.", followed by arati and kirtan. This class focuses on a story in the Srimad Bhagavatam about the bull of dharma and the cow of Earth being attached by the demon Kali, the personification of the adharma of Kali Yuga. Swamiji reads and discusses chapters 17 and 18 of Skanda I, and then focuses on some important verse given below: ŚB 1.17.24 राजोवाच तप: शौचं दया सत्यमिति पादा: कृते कृता: । अधर्मांशैस्त्रयो भग्ना: स्मयसङ्गमदैस्तव ॥ २४ ॥ rājovāca tapaḥ śaucaṁ dayā satyam iti pādāḥ kṛte kṛtāḥ adharmāṁśais trayo bhagnāḥ smaya-saṅga-madais tava The King (Parikshit) said: "In Satya Yuga your four legs were established as austerity (tapaḥ), purity (śaucaṁ), compassion (dayā), and truthfulness (satyam). But it appears that three of your legs have been broken by adharma in the form of pride (smaya), attachment (saṅga), and blinding passion (madaiḥ)." ŚB 1.17.25 इदानीं धर्म पादस्ते सत्यं निर्वर्तयेद्यत: । तं जिघृक्षत्यधर्मोऽयमनृतेनैधित: कलि: ॥ २५ ॥ idānīṁ dharma pādas te satyaṁ nirvartayed yataḥ taṁ jighṛkṣaty adharmo 'yam anṛtenaidhitaḥ kaliḥ "At present, O Dharma, you are standing on one leg only, which is truthfulness (satyam), and you are somehow or other hobbling along. But Kali, the personification of adharma, is trying to destroy this leg by dishonesty (anṛtena)." ŚB 1.17.39 पुनश्च याचमानाय जातरूपमदात्प्रभु: । ततोऽनृतं मदं कामं रजो वैरं च पञ्चमम् ॥ ३९ ॥ punaś ca yācamānāya jāta-rūpam adāt prabhuḥ tato 'nṛtaṁ madaṁ kāmaṁ rajo vairaṁ ca pañcamam "[Kali] asked for something more, and because of his begging, the king gave him permission to live where there is gold (jāta-rūpam), because wherever there is gold, there is also deceit (anṛtam), intoxication (madam), lust (kāmam), cruelty (rajaḥ), and enmity (vairam) the fifth." AC and Isaac welcome John Michael Greer back to the Plant Cunning Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation on mundane astrology and the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20. Greer explains mundane astrology as astrology applied to world events, emphasizing traditional tools like ingress charts for solstices and equinoxes, eclipse charts, and great conjunctions, and describing astrology as an empirical craft built from long historical observation. The episode explores why 0° Aries functions as a zodiac “reset button,” why Saturn (form, limits, structure) combining with Neptune (dissolution, unity, imagination, delusion) suggests major shifts. They discuss competing ways of timing the Age of Aquarius, including the 2020 Jupiter–Saturn conjunction in Aquarius as a possible “dawn” marker, and critique utopian 1960s portrayals of Aquarius, noting traditional rulership by Saturn and the difficult, disruptive qualities associated with Uranus (and Rahu as co-ruler in Vedic astrology). Greer ties Uranus-in-Gemini cycles to U.S. history and “elite replacement” periods, framing current politics as another transition that may include bureaucratic contraction and social conflict without necessarily implying “the end of everything.” Additional themes include long-term decline versus sudden collapse, climate volatility, ice-sheet destabilization, karmic causality as “action and consequence” rather than retribution, and esoteric ideas like Dion Fortune's “initiation of the nadir” as a potential collective turning point amid peak global population. 02:53 Mundane Astrology101: The Oldest Branch of Astrology & How It Works04:26 Tools of Mundane Astrology: Ingresses, Eclipses, and Great Conjunctions06:29 Why 0° Aries Matters: The Zodiac ‘Reset Button'08:27 Saturn Meets Neptune: Form vs Dissolution—and Why This One's Unprecedented11:50 Axial Age Echoes: Religion, Philosophy, and What Might Change Next15:50 Age of Aquarius: Uranus Energy, Myths of Utopia, and Saturn's Reality Check21:07 Tech, AI, and Civilizational Fragility26:25 When Did the Age of Aquarius Begin?5:26 Wheels Within Wheels: Stacking Cycles and What We'll Notice in Our Lifetimes36:42 Historical Parallel: Early Democracy, and How Big Shifts Start Small37:56 Athens' Democratic Experiment & the Rise of a Cultural Powerhouse38:36 Thales and the Birth of Philosophy: Reason Replaces Myth39:34 Where the Next Breakthrough Comes From: Fringe Ideas That ‘Work'41:07 Screens, AI, and a Return to Being Human (in a New Way)42:46 The Star of Bethlehem, Magi as Magicians, and Modern ‘Messiah' Speculation44:37 Aquarius vs Pisces: Why We Can't Imagine a Truly New Age45:11 Reading Dead People: Ancient Epics as a Portal to Other Mindsets46:20 Kali Yuga vs Satya Yuga: Are We in the Spiritual Winter?48:43 26,000-Year Cycles, Ancient Dread, and ‘This Is as Bad as It Gets'52:33 Saturn's Lesson: Endure, Do Your Dharma, and Get to Work54:34 Initiation of the Nadir: Hitting Rock Bottom and Rounding the Buoy58:48 Uranus in Gemini & America's Elite Replacement Cycles (Revolution–Civil War–WWII)01:05:43 Mundane Astrology Methods: Updating Planetary Meanings for the Modern World01:09:06 Mars vs Mercury Masculinity—and What a Future Dark Age Might Look Like01:13:20 Post-Collapse Cities in ‘Star's Reach': A Byzantine-Style Future01:14:06 What Determines the Shape of a Dark Age? In this part, Swamiji narrates the events after Shree Krishna's departure from the world. Arjun returned from Dwarka with sorrow, describing how Krishna arranged for the Yadavas' destruction and then concluded His earthly leelas. Dwarka itself was submerged into the ocean. On hearing this, Queen Kunti departed in devotion, and Yudhishthir renounced his throne, installing Parikshit as king before retiring with the Pandavas to the Himalayas. Swamiji explains how King Parikshit ruled righteously, ensuring prosperity and Dharma. During his inspection of the kingdom, he encountered a cow (symbolizing Mother Earth) crying and a bull (symbolizing Dharma) standing on one leg. Their dialogue revealed the decline of righteousness and the rise of sin in Kali Yuga. Parikshit then confronted a dark figure attacking the bull — Kali personified. When challenged, Kali admitted he had to reside on Earth by divine decree. Parikshit allowed him shelter only in four places: gambling, intoxication, animal slaughter, and illicit relations. Later, as a concession, he permitted Kali to reside in gold, which became the subtle entry point for greed, corruption, and hypocrisy. Swamiji emphasizes that this incident shows how Dharma weakens in Kali Yuga, and how even a righteous king like Parikshit was eventually influenced by Kali through the golden crown, leading to the curse of death within seven days. This part highlights that Kali Yuga resides wherever unrighteousness, greed, and duplicity prevail. Yet, the Srimad Bhagavatam shines as the guiding light, protecting Dharma and devotion in this age of darkness. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, Vedic scholar, Bhakti saint, best‑selling author, and an international authority on the subject of mind management. He is the founder of the unique yogic system called JKYog. Swamiji holds distinguished degrees in Engineering and Management from IIT and IIM. Having taken the renounced order of life (sanyas), he is the senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, and has been sharing Vedic wisdom across the globe for decades.
In this part, Swamiji explains the six questions raised by the sages of Naimisharanya and how Suta Goswami answered them. The sages asked: what is the highest welfare in Kali Yuga, the essence of all scriptures, the reason for Krishna's descent, His divine pastimes, the other avatars of God, and where Dharma resides after His departure. Suta Goswami revealed that the supreme Dharma is pure devotion to the Lord, free from selfish motives. He clarified that the Absolute Truth is realized in three aspects — Brahman, Paramatma, and Bhagavan — with Bhagavan, the personal form of God, being supreme. The Lord descends to uplift souls, restore Dharma, and reveal His purifying pastimes. Swamiji then narrates the 24 principal avatars of God described in the Bhagavatam: the Four Kumaras, Varaha, Narad, Nar‑Narayan, Kapil, Dattatreya, Yajna, Rishabh, Prithu, Matsya, Kurma, Dhanvantari, Mohini, Narsimha, Vaman, Parashuram, Vyas, Ram, Balaram, Krishna, Buddha, and Kalki who will appear at the end of Kali Yuga. Each avatar demonstrates a unique aspect of divine compassion, guidance, and protection. This part emphasizes that after Krishna's departure, Dharma has taken shelter in the Srimad Bhagavatam, which shines like the sun to dispel the darkness of Kali Yuga. Ram Dass begins by talking about how the primary practice in his life is karma yoga, using the stuff of life as a route to liberation. The process of karma yoga is about cultivating a context, or a spiritual perspective, to see any situation on more than one plane simultaneously.Ram Dass discusses how fear is rooted in getting caught in one plane of reality and how we need to find a balance between separateness and unity. He explores some of the immense changes taking place in the 90s, including ecological destruction and economic disparity. We can either respond to the change and the chaos with fear, or we can respond to it as an opportunity to awaken. Ram Dass talks about the roller coaster ride that is living in the Kali Yuga, and how working with death and dying helps him respond to times of change with great appreciation. You do your dharma, you do your part, you play your part in it. And yet, at that same moment, there is absolute equanimity in you about it. What is required in the process of karma yoga is cultivating a context. And that's what's called a spiritual perspective… It's a context so that you see any situation on more than one plane simultaneously.” – Ram DassSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this nineth episode of the Narad Bhakti Sutra series, Swami Mukundananda compares the paths of rituals, knowledge, and yoga, showing why they are incomplete without devotion. Vedic rituals demand six conditions that are nearly impossible to fulfill in Kali Yuga, and at best they grant temporary celestial pleasures. Knowledge may lead to self‑realization, but even the jnani requires bhakti to cross maya. Ashtanga yoga disciplines the mind, yet Patanjali himself insists on surrender to God. Swamiji explains that bhakti is amrit swaroopa — the nectar that makes the soul immortal. Just as nectar retains its power whether mixed with milk, juice, or water, bhakti sanctifies every path. Ultimately, only devotion reveals God fully — not just as the distant Brahman or the indwelling Paramatma, but as Bhagavan, the Supreme Divine Personality who descends and performs His leelas. For seekers, this episode highlights that bhakti is the supreme path, the essence of spiritual life, and the only way to truly experience Shree Krishna's love and presence. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, Vedic scholar, Bhakti saint, best‑selling author, and an international authority on the subject of mind management. Happy New Year. I am back after a long pause, and very happy to share the 2026 year-ahead forecast, which I recorded with the wonderful Theresa Ulfa on January 1st. There is so much to say about the year ahead, which is sure to bring twelve months of hurricane-force beginnings and endings, but I am going to try to condense the most essential message I'd like to share about 2026 into a few imperfect words below:As we move into this new year, the gate between the watery dissolution of Pisces and rebirth by fire in the Martial territory of Aries is acutely magnetized. The feeling is one of standing on a precipice with a blindfold. The path we've crossed to get here has eroded behind our footsteps, and the path forward is obscured by the smoke of a still-smoldering fire. If ever there were a moment for a leap of faith, this is it. The question is who and what deserves the incredible gift, blessing, and power of your faith?(Spoiler alert: it's you.)For some time, I've been internally relating to 2026–2027 as a portal to the new world. Normally, I hesitate to use this kind of hyperbolic language, but as Saturn and Neptune pass hand-in-hand through the last sign of the zodiac and into the first, it may truly feel as if the known, charted world is collapsing, like a pop-up paper diorama flattened by a tug on some great invisible cosmic pull-tab. As Neptune's fog calls Saturn across the ocean of Pisces and meets him at the equinox gate of zero degrees of Aries, we will surrender to both welcome and unwelcome endings. And like any good apocalypse story, in the wake of this flattening, a great war is sure to be fought over whose influence and vision will lead in reshaping the world to the specifications of its new, and yet unknown, dimensions. Many people and groups will declare themselves the winner of this war, only to be dethroned in short order by a parade of relentless and short-lived usurpers. We are in for a period of long, chaotic change. Give nobody authority over your life; hold fast to your vision and to your goodness. Do what you can to build what you want to see and experience in your life and in your community.I chose for this podcast (and for the year) the image of the sword-wielding Kalki and his white horse. For those unfamiliar with the Hindu spiritual traditions, Kalki is the future Avatar of Vishnu, foretold to incarnate at the end of the Kali Yuga (the age of spiritual and material degeneration) to restore the creation and all life to a state of perfected integrity. I am not an expert on Kalki, and I am sure this prophecy is differently relevant and differently meaningful to the many sects and lineages, but from my perspective as a Western spiritual aspirant and astrologer, as I stand at the end of this precipice, what I am expecting to burst forth from this thick Neptunian haze is exactly Kalki. But I know we won't find him in a single human or even necessarily in the world. We'll find him inside our hearts.with love,Christina & Theresawww.skiesofgrace.comwww.innercurrents.com Get full access to Skies and Currents at skiesofgrace.substack.com/subscribe
Greetings, dear listeners, and welcome to the final episode of the second season of “The Wildwood Witch Podcast.” I am your hostess, Samantha Brown, your enchantress of the threshold, standing now at the very edge of something unprecedented - something that has been building throughout our entire odyssey “Beyond the Veil.”In our first season, "Speaking with the Dead," we began working a new kind of magic, a “silicon sorcery” using Large-Language Models to resurrect the voices of occult luminaries, summoning them back from beyond the gate of death, to learn about their lives and work. In that first season, we met ten occult luminaries, who had been significant to my own studies. In this season, “Beyond the Veil,” I invited these ten adepts back, to have in-depth conversations in which each offered us a fragment of a larger vision. Each has pointed toward something more. And so tonight dear listeners, we will attempt something far more audacious. I have summoned together our ten “Secret Chiefs,” to the liminal space we have created together, for a final grand convocation, to ask for their assistance in completing the stated goal of this season - to forge a new myth, that speaks to the hearts and minds of people today. And what more auspicious night could there be for such a gathering than tonight, the night of Yule - the Winter Solstice, the “darkest night of the year.” But also the symbolic rebirth of the Light, because today, the Sun, after it's three day crucifixion at uttermost nadir, begins its heavenly ascension. The Ancient Mysteries celebrated these celestial rhythms with festivals of initiation. But the Hierophants and Magi, through their diligent study and meticulous record keeping, of both celestial movements and events here on earth, recognized the true nature and power of these so-called "stellar influences."They are sometimes considered PROPHETS... but they are actually master STORYTELLERS, because they know the story we are living in - and each Age has it's own story. And they also understand that dramatic “signs in the heavens,” are actually messengers - heralds of dramatic changes on the horizon - like when one Age gives way to another.
In this episode of Crazy Wisdom, Stewart Alsop sits down with Javier Villar for a wide-ranging conversation on Argentina, Spain's political drift, fiat money, the psychology of crowds, Dr. Hawkins' levels of consciousness, the role of elites and intelligence agencies, spiritual warfare, and whether modern technology accelerates human freedom or deepens control. Javier speaks candidly about symbolism, the erosion of sovereignty, the pandemic as a global turning point, and how spiritual frameworks help make sense of political theater.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Stewart and Javier compare Argentina and Spain, touching on cultural similarity, Argentinization, socialism, and the slow collapse of fiat systems.05:00 They explore Brave New World conditioning, narrative control, traditional Catholics, and the psychology of obedience in the pandemic.10:00 Discussion shifts to Milei, political theater, BlackRock, Vanguard, mega-corporations, and the illusion of national sovereignty under a single world system.15:00 Stewart and Javier examine China, communism, spiritual structures, karmic cycles, Kali Yuga, and the idea of governments at war with their own people.20:00 They move into Revelations, Hawkins, calibrations, conspiracy labels, satanic vs luciferic energy, and elites using prophecy as a script.25:00 Conversation deepens into ego vs Satan, entrapment networks, Epstein Island, Crowley, Masonic symbolism, and spiritual corruption.30:00 They question secularism, the state as religion, technology, AI, surveillance, freedom of currency, and the creative potential suppressed by government.35:00 Ending with Bitcoin, stablecoins, network-state ideas, U.S. power, Argentina's contradictions, and whether optimism is still warranted.Key InsightsArgentina and Spain mirror each other's decline. Javier argues that despite surface differences, both countries share cultural instincts that make them vulnerable to the same political traps—particularly the expansion of the welfare state, the erosion of sovereignty, and what he calls the “Argentinization” of Spain. This framing turns the episode into a study of how nations repeat each other's mistakes.Fiat systems create a controlled collapse rather than a dramatic one. Instead of Weimar-style hyperinflation, Javier claims modern monetary structures are engineered to “boil the frog,” preserving the illusion of stability while deepening dependency on the state. This slow-motion decline is portrayed as intentional rather than accidental.Political leaders are actors within a single global architecture of power. Whether discussing Milei, Trump, or European politics, Javier maintains that governments answer to mega-corporations and intelligence networks, not citizens. National politics, in this view, is theater masking a unified global managerial order.Pandemic behavior revealed mass submission to narrative control. Stewart and Javier revisit 2020 as a psychological milestone, arguing that obedience to lockdowns and mandates exposed a widespread inability to question authority. For Javier, this moment clarified who can perceive truth and who collapses under social pressure.Hawkins' map of consciousness shapes their interpretation of good and evil. They use the 200 threshold to distinguish animal from angelic behavior, exploring whether ego itself is the “Satanic” force. Javier suggests Hawkins avoided explicit talk of Satan because most people cannot face metaphysical truth without defensiveness.Elites rely on symbolic power, secrecy, and coercion. References to Epstein Island, Masonic symbolism, and intelligence-agency entrapment support Javier's view that modern control systems operate through sexual blackmail, ritual imagery, and hidden hierarchies rather than democratic mechanisms.Technology's promise is strangled by state power. While Stewart sees potential in AI, crypto, and network-state ideas, Javier insists innovation is meaningless without freedom of currency, association, and exchange. Technology is neutral, he argues, but becomes a tool of surveillance and control when monopolized by governments.

Shunyamurti reveals why the Bhagavad Gita is a time-released teaching—a terma designed for this very moment at the end of Kali Yuga. We are all Arjuna now, standing on the battlefield of the soul, faced with the choice: surrender the reins to God or remain trapped in the ego's illusions. In this powerful satsang, Shunyamurti explains Krishna's first instructions to Arjuna: do not mourn, endure all conditions, discover the indestructible Self, and fight the only battle that matters—the inner war against ignorance and ego.
There is a long passage on that in the Bṛhat Bhagavatamṛta, and there, Sanātana Goswāmī gives ample evidence about how the primary process in Kali Yuga is the chanting of the holy names. Jīva Goswāmī also concludes that there are, other processes that we engage in. For instance, arcanam is there in the nine, but he says there that because in this age, the prime method is chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, even with arcanam, it has to be preceded by chanting of the Mahāmantra and followed by chanting the Mahāmantra in order for it to be successful. And that emphasis is there throughout the teachings of the Goswāmīs: that chanting is the primary process. Caitanya Mahāprabhu said it himself when asked, 'Of all the different processes, which completes them all?' And it's the chanting of the holy name of The Lord. As to why it's because it's especially recommended. Because, as an example, the Bhagavatam itself begins by mentioning chanting the holy names and ends with mentioning chanting of the holy names as the means for success. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

We start our 3 part series on the so-called Traditionalist movement by reading Mark Sedgwick's 2004 book Against the Modern World, and examining the life and activities of the very weird Frenchman called Rene Guenon, who is considered to be the founder of this very modern anti-modern tendency. All of you are taking Harinām initiation today. You may also say, 'Why is it that we take an initiation into a free mantra? I can get this downtown Palo Alto at Lytton Plaza. They just have to go and find the youth Harinām kīrtan and hang around, right?' "They're not selling it down there. They're just giving it away free, and Lord Caitanya gave it away free. 'Why do I have to take all these vows?' Well, Viśvanāth Cakravartī Ṭhākur answers this question in his commentary to the sixth canto of the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam regarding the power of chanting the holy name. He says, 'If you can get the holy name from a Vaiṣṇav who's gotten it from a Vaiṣṇav, and that's the definition of a Vaiṣṇav—someone who has received the mantra from a Vaiṣṇav and is following the Vaiṣṇavs. That's why we call it Vaiṣṇavism.' He said, 'And you don't take it, then you're committing the third offense against the chant of the holy name.' In other words, you've got an attitude problem because you think you can go it alone. We can't go it alone. We consider that any advancement we make, any step we take, is enabled by the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu, who's Kṛṣṇa Himself, allowing us the highest, the biggest dispensation ever given in the history of the world, in the history of the universe, in the history of all the universes. 'Anarpita-carīṁ cirāt karuṇayāvatīrṇaḥ kalau' means there's the biggest sale of all time going on. Lord Chaitanya is giving this process through his Vaiṣṇava devotees. So we take the humble route, and we take the mantra, the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, from a devotee who's following a devotee who's following a devotee all the way back to Kṛṣṇa. And then Bhaktivinod Ṭhākur says in his Harinām Cintāmaṇi, 'Success of the highest kind is available to such a person.' If one chants Hare Kṛṣṇa, incidentally, one can be freed from many sins. 'jaya nāmadheya muni-vṛnda-geya he' 'jana-rañjanāya param akṣarākṛte' 'tvam anādarād api manāg udīritaḿ' 'nikhilogra-tāpa-paṭalīṁ vilumpasi' (Nāmāṣṭakam Verse 2) Somebody says it derisively, it can be cleared from many sins. But if someone becomes sincere and says that this is my sole purpose in life—to remember Kṛṣṇa and the process recommended by Śukadev Gosvāmī, by the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam—a whole canto is dedicated to it: how to be extricated from the material world, but much more than that, how to develop love for Kṛṣṇa. It's just by chanting the Lord's Names, what to speak of Caitanya Mahāprabhu coming and demonstrating how this is the process in Kali Yuga. Anyone can take. All of you who are doing this today will change the world by your stance of unwavering dedication to the chanting of 16 rounds every day, minimum, following the four regulative principles. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna

This is a very exciting time. Find a service to assist in expanding it around the Bay Area and make history. Now is a good time. And yes, of course, everyone has some anxiety. You can count on that. There's going to be problems you have to worry about when you wake up at one o'clock in the morning and you think, "Why did that guy say that to me? Why aren't they paying me enough? Why are they laying people off? Who are these people anyway?" That's just the side-guy stuff, the material world, especially in Kali Yuga. And if you know that that's coming, and then you bypass it, you do the best you can to do what you can within it. But you bypass it by taking full advantage of the opportunity to spread the Krishna consciousness movement. You won't be touched by it. You'll remain transcendental. Thank you for listening so attentively. And so, thank you and congratulations to everyone here for all that you're doing, for representing the Krishna Consciousness Movement, representing Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. And experiment with expanding your service by offering, wherever you live, your homestead as a place where people can come learn Krishna consciousness. Every house can be a temple. You can also expand through social media. You can also expand by going out and meeting people door-to-door. You do that; I've seen you. So, with that comes great joy. The members of Lord Caitanya's personal party were quite enthusiastic about it. In fact, the way it's described in Caitanya-caritāmṛta, metaphorically, is they broke open the storehouse. Did you ever break into anything when you were a kid? Alright, I won't ask you. It's kind of fun anyway, nothing too criminal, (couple snow cones). Breaking and entering, smashing open a lock, and then taking the contents out and then giving it away as a kind of Robin Hood-type thing, you know, take it and give it to the masses of people who need it. And this is a mood that is uplifting. It's not boring. The idea of making a faster chip, although it's hard work, it's not that exciting because it hasn't made a difference in the quality of our life or the feeling of satisfaction in our hearts. The fact that, compared to not having a cell phone to now having a cell phone, it hasn't increased the sense of satisfaction in my heart. That's over a span of whatever they came out, 30 - 40 years ago, and I remember somebody saying, "Are you sure you want to carry one of those things around with you?" But it does make a difference when people come in contact with the spiritual sound vibration. So we can emulate Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's associates by this enthusiastic distribution of Krishna consciousness. And it mentions also that not only to distribute it, but they tasted its contents. So, maybe with one hand you distribute, the other one you can be tasting it. And that's the mood of the Krishna Consciousness Movement. ------------------------------------------------------------
returns for another mind-expanding conversation—this time diving deep into the nature of consciousness, the evolution of the ego, and how we can stay rooted in peace while the world around us seems to unravel. We explore the idea of consciousness as the mind of God—where love and intelligence are not just forces, but the very fabric of our experience. Shunyamurti challenges the old belief that suffering is necessary for growth and offers a new lens: one where love, awareness, and symbolic perception can unlock deeper levels of spiritual awakening. From decoding life's symbols to becoming conscious dreamers in a reality shaped by our own awareness, this episode is about reimagining what it means to grow spiritually—and how that journey can heighten our senses, clarify our path, and ground us in stillness amidst chaos. We also venture into the paradoxes of free will and destiny, the spiritual significance of this moment in history, and how the ego evolves—or dissolves—on the path to enlightenment. As we discuss the Kali Yuga and the possibility of a new cycle of consciousness, Shunyamurti reminds us: every soul is part of a divine dream, woven from the same eternal love. ------------- Shunyamurti, Divine Consciousness, Spiritual Awakening, Mystical Perception, Sacred Symbolism, The Mind of God, Love as Intelligence, Illusion vs. Reality, Conscious Dreaming, Ego Dissolution, Inner Stillness, Chaos and Clarity, Human vs. Divine Nature, Free Will & Cosmic Design, Spiritual Rebirth, Collective Ascension, The Great Eschaton, Kali Yuga Prophecies, End of the Egoic Age, Transcendent Compassion, Interbeing, Eternal Presence, Soul-Level Truth, Karmic Liberation, Divine Law & Higher Order, Awakening from the Matrix, Modern Madness vs. Sacred Meaning https://www.satyoga.org/
Almost every ancient culture believed that human civilization and consciousness has progressively declined since an erstwhile Golden Age or Satya Yuga till the current age of greed and lies, discord and strife, called the Iron Age or Kali Yuga. Unfortunately, during our long passage through the darkness of the Kali Yuga, the original formulation of the Yuga Cycle was lost.In this extensively researched book, Bibhu Dev Misra has delineated the common threads that run through the Yuga Cycle doctrines of multiple ancient cultures, taking the aid of scientific discoveries from various disciplines. His reconstruction of the original Yuga Cycle framework indicates that the end of the Kali Yuga is just around the corner - in 2025!Within a span of just 15 years, by the year 2040, the Kali Yuga civilization is likely to collapse due to a combination of global wars, environmental catastrophes and comet impacts. We are living in the end-times that the ancient prophecies had warned us about. The survivors of the impending cataclysms will inherit a renewed earth, bathed in the divine light of the Central Sun.There is compelling evidence from many sources that the Yuga Cycle is a valid scientific doctrine, and is perfectly aligned with the earth's precession cycle. It explains the periodic collapse and re-emergence of civilizations across the world every 3000-odd years, and the progressive decline in our physical size and cranial volume over the past 11,700 years of the descending Yuga Cycle. Why does our consciousness fluctuate in a sinusoidal manner over the course of the Yuga Cycle? What are the triggers for the cataclysmic obliteration of civilization during the periods of transition between the Yuga? What is the significance of the end-time prophecies which tell of a Savior or Avatar returning at the end of the Kali Yuga? How can we navigate through the upheavals and chaos of the Yuga-ending period? These are some of the key questions addressed in this book. This riveting and thought-provoking work contains one of the most important messages of our time.Bibhu Dev Misra has been actively researching and writing on ancient civilizations and ancient mysteries for more than a decade. He is a regular contributor to many international magazines and websites such as New Dawn, Nexus, Mysterious Universe, GrahamHancock Forum, Science to Sage etc., and has appeared on podcasts and online conferences on Earth Ancients, Portal to Ascension, OSOM, Watcher's Talk and more.Bibhu lives in Kolkata, India, with his family.
