Bo and Ronan are joined by Bryce Meredith on today's episode. Bryce is a 3x All American Wrestler, 6-0 fighter in the PFL coming off a dominant decision victory at the beginning of April, and one of Bo's oldest friends. The team begins talking about Bryce's recent fight and how he was able to dominate his last opponent. Then they talk about what fighting really is and why do people enjoy watching it so much. The conversation leads the boys down a rabbit hole in discussing how people have been fighting for generations and the different ways they would participate in combat. The tides turn when Ronan brings up Bo's new fight announcement on June 1st against Jacob Malkoun, but Bo quickly tells them that it's fake news. Bo then goes on talking about him and how it would not be a step up in competition for him to take that fight. Also the boys discuss why are people calling Bo out so much? They come to several conclusions about the recent stir up. Later on, Bryce goes into what it is like training with Sean O'Malley and why he believes he is so good at the sport. They also go over how he is completely different than people perceive him to be. The media shines him in a different light and Bryce explains what it is really like training with one of the best fighters right now. The finish up the boys recap the Olympic Trials from this past weekend. They go over all the highs and the lows from the tournament including, Aaron Brooks defeating David Taylor to represent the United States, Jason Nolf against Kyle Dake, and many other matches. NCAA Championships, Bo's new beef, and a possible look into how the UFC could change things up! This is one of the best podcasts we have put together in awhile and can't wait for y'all to listen.First the boys go over the NCAA Wrestling Championships from this past weekend. Obviously we know that Penn State came and blew every one out of the water including 4 guys winning individual national championships. Bo highlights some of the adversity that Carter Starochi faced while competing in the tournament with his injured knee. He also discusses his twitter battle with another well known wrestler Jordan Burroughs after Burroughs was making comments about attacking Carter's injured knee. Tony highlights how Tyler Kasak was able to take 3rd in the tournament after losing his very first match. The boys debate if that is harder than winning a national title in itself. Later, the team comments on the sheer dominance Penn State has had in the tournament in the past 20 years and making the argument that Cael Sanderson has created the greatest dynasty in all of sports.Moving on, the Ronan brings up the potential of the UFC becoming more team oriented. Tony talks about how they have done something like this in the past with The Ultimate Fighter. Bo brings up the point of how much more interesting it would be to have guys on teams and fans being able to cheer on individuals, but multiple guys on said hypothetical team. It would be very interesting to see a lot of new fighters working with one another if this were to occur and Bo talks about some guys he would love to have on his team.To round things out, the group breaks down the talk of MMA over the weekend and the bite that happened on Saturday night. How does that even happen?!?! The best part of it, the person that got bit not only got a tattoo, but $50,000 as well. Bo even talks about a couple times where he got bit in wrestling matches when he was younger.Thank you so much for the continued support and love on our recent shows! Love y'all ❤️
