A quick little 5 or 6 minutes on the Presidents Cup today, what a tournament and whilst the internationals were ahead going into Sunday, it was always going to be tough in the singles. Nick is depressed about the result (and about Fremantle) and Mark is disappointed that the 2028 Presidents Cup at Kingston Heath won't be coming in with the trophy held by the Internationals. Geld verdienen Shownotes In dieser Episode geht es ums Geld verdienen – und um den Denkfehler, der die meisten Unternehmer am meisten kostet: den Glauben, für die eigene Zeit bezahlt zu werden. Stunde rein, Geld raus. Diese Rechnung stammt aus der Anstellung, und viele schleppen sie in die Selbstständigkeit mit, ohne sie je zu hinterfragen. Das Ergebnis ist eine Decke, die man sich selbst eingezogen hat. Wer in Stunden denkt, kann sein Einkommen nur so weit steigern, wie der Tag Stunden hat. Und wird obendrein dafür bestraft, immer besser und damit schneller zu werden. Zusammenfassung und Stichpunkte zum Geld verdienen Das ist die Zusammenfassung dieser Episode in Kurzform: Teil 1 – Was der Denkfehler anrichtet. Der Tag hat 24 Stunden, verkaufen lassen sich davon vielleicht zehn. Damit steht das Maximum fest, bevor der Rechner hochgefahren ist. Dazu der paradoxe Effekt: Wer für eine Aufgabe nach zwei Jahren Übung nur noch drei statt acht Stunden braucht, schreibt eine kleinere Rechnung. Besser werden führt zu weniger Einnahmen. Und wer in Stunden denkt, sucht Arbeit statt Ergebnisse – ein voller Kalender ist kein Erfolg, sondern nur ein Zeichen von Beschäftigung. Teil 2 – Warum fast jeder darauf hereinfällt. Zwei Gründe. Erstens die Prägung aus der Anstellung: Anwesenheit gegen Gehalt, zwanzig oder dreißig Jahre lang eingeübt. Zweitens eine moralische Vorstellung – man muss sich Geld verdienen, und wer schnell viel bekommt, ist verdächtig. Daraus entsteht das Gefühl, beim Erhöhen des eigenen Preises ein Betrüger zu sein. Der Kern des Problems: Du misst deinen Preis am Aufwand, dein Kunde misst ihn am Nutzen. Teil 3 – Was stattdessen funktioniert. Erstens eine neue Leitfrage bei jedem Angebot: Was ist es dem Kunden wert, dass dieses Problem verschwindet? Zweitens eine ehrliche Sortierung des eigenen Angebots in zwei Stapel – Anwesenheit und Ergebnis. Der Anwesenheits-Stapel wächst nie mit. Drittens der Aufbau von Systemen über Mitarbeiter, Automatisierung oder Produkte. Der rote Faden beim Geld verdienen: Dein Aufwand ist deine Sache. Bezahlt wird das Ergebnis. Passend dazu der Befund aus Folge 961: Rainer Zitelmann, der die Vermögenselite psychologisch untersucht hat, nennt den Aufbau von Systemen als eines der Muster, die sich bei Vermögenden wiederholen. Wer es richtig macht, baut etwas, das läuft, wenn er selbst gerade nicht läuft. Shownotes und Episodendetails Warum ist gerade dieser Denkfehler so hartnäckig? Weil er sich moralisch sauber anfühlt. Zeit gegen Geld wirkt fair, nachvollziehbar und überprüfbar. Ein Stundensatz lässt sich begründen, ein Wertpreis muss vertreten werden. Dazu kommt: Beim Geld verdienen ist der Stundensatz schlicht bequem. Er verlangt keine Aussage darüber, was die eigene Arbeit bewirkt. Wer nach Ergebnis abrechnet, muss vorher wissen, welches Ergebnis er liefert – und dafür geradestehen. Woran du erkennst, dass du mitten im Denkfehler steckst. Ein einfacher Test: Wenn du morgen doppelt so gut wärst wie heute – würdest du dann doppelt so viel verdienen? Fällt die Antwort negativ aus, ist dein Einkommen an deine Anwesenheit gekoppelt und nicht an deine Fähigkeit. Ein zweites Signal beim Geld verdienen ist das schlechte Gewissen bei Preiserhöhungen. Wer innerlich rechnet, wie lange er gebraucht hat, argumentiert gegen sich selbst. Der Kunde stellt diese Rechnung nämlich nicht auf. Was das nicht heißt. Beim Geld verdienen nach Wert statt nach Zeit abzurechnen bedeutet nicht, beliebig hohe Preise aufzurufen. Der Nutzen muss real sein und sich benennen lassen. Wer nicht sagen kann, was seine Leistung dem Kunden konkret bringt, hat kein Preisproblem, sondern ein Angebotsproblem. Es heißt auch nicht, dass Stundensätze in jedem Fall falsch wären. Bei klar begrenzten, wiederkehrenden Tätigkeiten sind sie praktikabel. Problematisch wird es, wenn der Stundensatz zum einzigen Denkmodell wird. Die zwei Stapel im Detail. Auf den Anwesenheits-Stapel gehört alles, was nur dann Umsatz erzeugt, wenn du persönlich dabei bist: Beratungsstunden, Meetings, Betreuung, Bereitschaft. Auf den Ergebnis-Stapel gehört alles, wofür ein definiertes Resultat vereinbart ist – unabhängig davon, wie lange du dafür brauchst. Die meisten Selbstständigen entdecken bei dieser Sortierung, dass achtzig bis neunzig Prozent ihres Umsatzes auf dem ersten Stapel liegen. Das ist kein Fehler, aber es erklärt, warum das Geld verdienen ab einem bestimmten Punkt nicht mehr weitergeht, egal wie viel gearbeitet wird. Der Übergang zu einer anderen Art, Geld zu verdienen, funktioniert selten als Bruch. Realistischer ist, den zweiten Stapel Schritt für Schritt zu vergrößern: ein Angebot mit Festpreis statt Stundensatz, ein Produkt, eine Leistung, die ein Mitarbeiter übernehmen kann. Der erste konkrete Schritt. Nimm dein nächstes Angebot und rechne es zweimal. Einmal wie bisher über den Aufwand. Und einmal über die Frage, was das Ergebnis dem Kunden wert ist. On yesterday's show we kicked around the idea that the LIV whale might be Trump, not investing himself but doing so through the US government and thus positioning himself as the 'saviour' of LIV.
