In this episode the guys sit down with Cam Serigne, founder of vQuip, to discuss how his team is tackling the insurance crisis in the watersports rental industry. After a career ending NFL injury and time in private equity, Cam launched vQuip to fill a growing insurance gap by combining renters insurance with smart technology and risk management tools. They dive into challenges like Florida's SB606, the lack of standard regulations, and how vQuip's data driven approach is helping operators reduce incident rates and secure better coverage. Cam shares how vQuip evolved from a booking platform into a flexible, operator first insurance solution and why collaboration, education, and innovation are key to the future of watersports safety.[SPONSORS] - This show is sponsored by Take My Boat Test and WaveRez.Show Links:Website: https://www.watersportpodcast.comFacebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/awgpodcastFacebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1155418904790489Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/awg_podcast/
Amoray Dive Resort is considered the only true dive resort in the continental US, with it's dedicated dive boat literally outside the door of some of the hotel rooms.I fell in love with this dive resort last year when I visited, so I returned a year later to interview the rest of their staff. With a fully staffed dive shop on site, gear, and even a filling station, it makes diving easy.I was asked so many times if this was “Amy Slate's place?” that I thought it was important to show the renovated room interiors, and how well-kept the place was. They retained the old Keys charm, but upgraded the interior where it counts. The boat is ideal for easy, family-oriented diving that caters to newbies, snorkelers, and shallow scuba diving. But don't be fooled, some of the best variety of shipwrecks are in the Keys and the Spiegel Grove is just offshore Key Largo, and Amoray does do dedicated trips for Advanced Divers. They offer scuba certification, dive guides, rental gear, and apparently are expanding into a live aboard catamaran option (I'll have more details on that when I return in December for the boat parade!). I should also mention they let you take bicycles and snorkel gear offsite to places like John Pennekamp State Park, and even have SUP, Kayak, Jet Skis on site. They also do magical sunset cruises, which IMHO is one of the crown jewels of the Florida Keys. But the thing that intrigued me the most about this resort was actually the staff. Just like my last interview with the owner of the dive resort (Jeff Gneiser), I am fascinated with how they can keep the vibe going with the resort AND boat staff, and this time after even more time had passed. So many places lack customer service and experience staff burnout in this industry, yet this place seemed to be the contrary. The staff seemed happy, the boat captain and mates literally sang and danced on the way back in from the dive, and everyone was in a great mood every time I spoke with them, and were actually helpful. If you just want a comfy place to stay with a genuine Keys vibe, easy diving or snorkeling, and close to the major attractions, Amoray Dive Resort is it.PS: They offered me a discount code for listeners:sweetwater25*I'm still working on that on-site Tiki Bar

It is, it isn't, and it isn't in that order. Cleetus Hogg is introduced to us all in this Season 1 Dukes episode to play the role of Boss Hogg's second cousin twice removed flunky. He does and he is. But he somehow ends up helping Boss Hogg in a bank heist…..that he was in on before it was conceived. And then he fails at it. And then Bo and Luke save the day…..by doing a literal body snatching swap, only I'm not sure that they meant to. Just like Cleetus said in the S3 Episode The Great Santa Claus Chase, "Can someone come get me; I'm lost!" But, it is a Season 1 Dukes Episode, shot in California with 14” wheels on Chargers, and Al Wyatt stunt driving the General in Full Send mode for the entire. C'est magnifique! Like most Americans, Vinson Cunningham first became aware of Barack Obama in 2004, when he gave a breakout speech at the Democratic National Convention. “Very good posture, that guy,” Cunningham noted. “We hang our faith on objects, on people, based on the signs that they put out,” Cunningham tells David Remnick. “And that's certainly been a factor in my own life. The rapid and urgent search for patterns.” Although Cunningham aspired to be a writer, he got swept up in this historic campaign, working on Obama's longshot 2008 run for the Presidency, and later worked in his White House. Cunningham's adventures on the trail inspire his first novel, “Great Expectations,” an autobiographical coming-of-age story about where and how we seek inspiration. Cunningham recalls that Obama was seen as the “fulfillment” of so many hopes and dreams for people like himself. Now he wishes the former President were playing a larger role. “I will admit that it has been dispiriting,” in Obama's post-Presidential life, “to see him making movies and being on Jet Skis as the world burns. … more like a movie star than someone whose great hope is to change the world.”
