Growing up using an inhaler almost everyday of my life came with a lot of challenges. I have had two asthma attacks and have relied heavily on an inhaler for my 29 years. However, this year I something dropped for me that inspired me to overcome this condition. Through breathing exercises, trusting myself and having the right mindset I have pushed through it.

This is an analogy that is widely known and I learnt this on a deeper level going through a relationship breakup. Although it was challenging it was the realisation that I needed to help me grow but ultimately put myself first. Filling up my cup by doing things for myself that make me feel good has been something I have done since that time in my life. It hasn't made me selfish, it has made me better and more giving! The statement is true that - 'If you win the morning you will win the day' My morning routine has been both impactful and transformational in the recent weeks. Spending intentional time implementing practices that set me up for the day ahead. Wake up at 4am, make a black coffee, spend 10mins to myself, karakia/pray, express affirmations, set intention for the day, write down five things to be grateful for and finishing off with writing three critical tasks to be completed throughout the day! No matter what happens throughout the day - I go to bed satisfied knowing that I completed my morning routine!
