What happens during Chief Petty Officer season? Is the Chief Season hard? I'll share my experience on what happen during my chief season. After pod fading for two months, I am finally back boss with what I have been up to. On 4 October I was selected to Chief Petty Officer (Level up), Which took me on a “six week” journey of pure mental, physical and emotional challenge. Along the way I have ran into other roadblocks, and so I have been really silent on making videos. I got a chance to see Listen to what I have been up to and what I am looking to do. Things I talk about in this video:1. Getting Selected for promotion…I was NOT surprised. Not being cocky, but I already knew I was going to make Chief. 2. The Physical challenges I faced: exercising until my body gave out out3. Almost getting into brawls: you'll see how hard it is for a whole bunch of A type Chief Selectees. 4. Getting a crazy eye infection while going through an Army Obstacle course, and pushing through using teamwork with all the Chief Selects. Some of the ad libs you here is what I heard daily while getting my ass handed to me during training in the Chiefs Mess and at PT. Challenge in the video: Reach out to someone who you haven't reached out to in a long time and let them know that you still acknowledge them. Feel free to let me know how it goes. Cultivation - Growth talks from a Veteran Cultivation -Ep.12 - Jumpstarting your Motivation We all know what's like to be motivated. When motivated we can rule the world if we wanted to. What about when your motivation is gone? What about when you just can't get motivated??I share some of my keys that help me to maintain a high level of motivation. My mindset on this:- It's okay to not be motivated- The ending of a thing is always better than the beginning- Effort is a win- Surround yourself with people and things that feed what you want out of life- Don't compare yourself with others- Filter negativity- Validate yourself Challenge: apply any of these keys and let me know if this doesn't work.
